DIY Solar Shower / Water Storage for my Self Converted Van
Вставка

- If y'all have ever wondered if creating a solar shower was feasible, it totally is! All you need is some basic parts and tools and you'll be on your way.
I'll leave a list of the materials you'll need to build your own solar shower below.
This tank holds 3.5 Gallons of water and will last about 2 minutes on full spray with 7 PSI in the tank. I was actually surprised and I thought it wouldn't last quite that long!
I still need to buy a shower head / hose for this.
If you haven't seen my other videos, make sure to check those out so you can see the whole van build and follow me along on my future adventures!

A one gallon per minute 🚿 shower nozel would save you way more water and make it come out with harder pressure. 🚿 🚿
You are right, I’ll be buying one
@@bgrace27 Yaaaaaaaaay 😀
Nice!! 👍 Maybe carry a screw on shower head with an on off valve to conserve water when showering
That’s a great idea man, thank you!
That is so cool you’re so creative 👍🏼❤❤❤️
Thank you very much! Thanks for watching 🙏
Nice setup!! Now that’s something I could make but first I need a roof rack. ( running boards too 😮) Thanks for sharing your setup.
It was pretty simple but it’s such a nice addition!
Couple questions. How long is the tube? And how much water does it hold?
Def looks legit.
Holds 3.5 gallons at around 4ft long
this was so informative. I had no idea air was needed to pressure the water out!
It helps a ton! Thanks for watching
That nice to know that the water gets hot. I am really glad you built the shower as I am learning how to do this. And this will saves me a lots of money. Thanks Bronson
Anytime bro, I appreciate the kind words
Excellent idea to use it both as a shower and as water storage. And it matches perfectly - sorry, little OCD kicking in.
Thank you very much!
I had to spend a little more for the black ABS pipe vs regular pvc but it was well worth it
Drain pipe is not what you should use. It will not hold pressure very well.
Use the white water pipe and paint it black. Ive had one for 10 yrs and it still works. The black pipe does not do well in heat or pressure.
It holds pressure perfect. It’s because I can do a good glue job… 😳
@@bgrace27 Zip lock baggie can hold water too, but not just very long, even if you use glue.
Just some advice.
It just keeps getting better. Did you name it yet? Maybe name it, It.
I can’t decide on a name 😫
I’ve never been good with naming vehicles but this one is a must
@@bgrace27use it for a while and maybe it will name itself.
Don't drink the water from that ABS sewage pipe, dude. It's not drinking water rated.
Nice job. Remember Tweety is the perfect name 😊
🤘
Hey Bronson, I am amaze how awesome and innovative you are with your whole camper van build. I was thinking of adding a shower to portable shower with heater, pump and tent to my raptor when I am out in the desert but they are expensive. I really like your shower build better as it is simpler and more cost effective and works. I will be adding this to make bed rack on my ra;ptor.
Thanks for sharing
Anytime bud, I’m glad I could help! I had it sitting in the sun for about 10 minutes and the pipe was too hot to touch
You fix your awd problem?
Yes I sure did, I need to address that…
