We did Panama Canal on Caribbean Princess and booked our Emerald Princess from that cruise because we fell in love with PRINCESS! Island Princess tomorrow! So excited!!!!
@@laurieGaryCruise We Will Be Doing The 54 Day Round Trip To Australia From Los Angeles On The Island Princess In 2026 Looking Forward To That. Hope To Meet You Both On A Cruise One Day 😀
We Recently Sailed On The Oceania Regatta For 11 Day Mexico Cruise And Became Spoiled. I Have Never Ate So Much. We Got 32 Videos Out Of It 😀 Very Enjoyable Cruise Line. Only 684 Passenger Capacity. No Waiting For Anything
Please let me know about the Casual Dining options: Steamers and Planks seems to have dispeared on the Emerald Princess...as has Gigi's and Alfredos... are they actually ALL gone? What is left? We have 2 casual dining dinners included in our Plus Package...but are not sure what those options would be? thanks!
Steamers and Planks are on the Emerald Princess. Make sure you make reservations as soon as you board because they rotate evenings they are open and it’s next to impossible to get in without a reservation. THE SALTY DOG was the main casual dining place and you don’t need a reservation. ITS SO GOOD!!!! No Gigi’s or Alfredos but the regular pizza by the pool is good quality.
This will be our first time on a Princess cruise (and we're on the Emerald specifically which is how I found you). Thanks for showing things like the outlets too! Sometimes it's those little things that matter, especially for our first time on this ship! Can't wait to see the next part and you have a new subscriber to boot!
People we know absolutely love the orange soufflé. The get it every time they board on a Princess cruise. Only embarking they have it in the main dining room for lunch.
First of all, thank you so much! Secondly, excellent! We just booked the ISLAND PRINCESS in JUNE to go back to Canada!!!! We truly had such a good experience.
We brought it!!!! I know it’s not allowed but we have brought one on every single cruise and never had it confiscated. It’s cheap so If they ever did take it away no big deal but we like our coffee in our mouths first thing in the morning. On our past CELEBRITY CRUISE our room attendant gave us an electric hot water heater and instant coffee (we left the drip at home cause we flew international.)
@@JimRing sometimes we do but more often than not we don’t. I think the room attendant basically goes by: If it wasn’t confiscated during luggage search it must be ok.
@@kellyb6541 posting Part 2 on Friday. It will be chilly in October but you will probably get to see a lot more fall foliage than us which is a gold trade off I think!!!
@@kellyb6541me too! Very helpful and timely videos. I don’t mind paying for the fitness classes if they are good. My first times they were so dull and geriatric level. Second cruise the instructor was not competent. He did not know what he was doing and did nothing to make it fun. Would love to hear more about the fitness classes you took. Thanks in advance!
We Absolutely Loved The Emerald Princess. We Did A Back To Back Panama Canal Cruise Onboard The Emerald Princess

Have an amazing cruise!💖
We sail Princess a lot. The Emerald is beautiful. We are boarding October 28th. Enjoy the cruise!

Sooooo gooood!
I just love you guys! Gary cracks me up. Your videos were very helpful in making our cruise decision to Canada for August 24. We booked the Emerald.

You are both so fun!
Thank you!!!!
Question! I saw Gary hoisting a drip coffee maker in your stateroom. Did you bring that or did you request one from your steward?!!

@@laurieGaryCruise That's amazing! You're my hero!
@@JimRing cross fingers we continue to get away with it!
@@laurieGaryCruise Do you hide it away during the day so that the room steward doesn't catch wind of it? You're brilliant!

What time did you get to the terminal?
We got there just after 11.
@@laurieGaryCruise, thanks! We're sailing on Oct. 14 so this is good info. Looking forward to more videos. Thanks, againg!

What a rotten ship. We left two weeks ago and are both still sick.
Aw we disagree. Had a lovely cruise and enjoyed the ship. Sorry your experience wasn’t the same.
