Hi Alisa and Jason. I'm Dave, the owner of Dave's Lobster. I just came across your video; sorry I didn't find it sooner. Thanks so much for visiting Dave's Lobster, making the video and the kind words and positive review. These things always make me very happy. Sorry I wasn't around when you were here. It would have been nice to say hi. If you're ever back in PEI (or Halifax, we have a shop there too) ask for me! Thanks again! Dave
I waited at the port an hour and a half hoping to meet you when you got off but alas, you did not get off right away. I am glad you enjoyed our port. Wowie cowie is always my choice at cows. We pronounce Peakes quay as key. Hunters is a great place for pub food, the servings are enormous. Thanks for coming to our island.
Ok. I have been going to PEI for 8 years. I hope you got to go to cows and get chocolate covered potato chips. Yes it good !!! You really need to take your RV to PEI and travel the whole island!! Cousins shore is the best which is in Annes land. The Home place of Lucy Montgomery who wrote Anne of Greengables. Twin Shores is the best RV Park on the island. . I hope you got to try their Fish and chips. Best fish I ever had !!!!. Victoria is a cutest little village and the best chocolate shop you have ever seen. If you like coffee, they had chocolate coated mocha coffee. It's ta die for.!!!!!. All the locates go there for this treat. PEI has the best lobster roll any where in Canada!!!! There are amazing lighthouses all over the island that you can drive up to and climb to the top. Many of them are still running by the locals. I'm just telling you guys., You got to take your RV to PEI. Stay for two weeks. And amazing place to look for sea glass. This is the only place you can sit on the beach and hear the cows mooing !!! The island people made a pack to never allow tall hotels around the beach fronts. Instead you can rent cottages right on the oceans beaches. I can't say enough about this gorgeous island. I have so much more to say about it but I better stop!!!!❤❤❤❤😊
Hi Alisa and Jason! 🖐 Loved this video. You 2 are absolutely the best at filming and narration!!! Alisa, I really appreciate that you give us some background of the places you stop and what you are looking at. It really is interesting. Jason, your camera skill is second to none! Looking forward to your next stop. 👌😀
HOLY SHIT! The lobster looked GREAT, and the poutine looked ridiculous. That steak and gravy and cheese were TOTALLY DEVESTATING. Thanks for the tour. Yummo.
Im from New Brunswick and i was in PEI a few weekends ago.... i seriously go for the COWS ice cream!!! Lol. So crazy to think you were so close to my home.
It is a good thing I have been watching these vlogs after dinner otherwise I would be so hungry. My favorite food in PEI was the mussels. So fresh and good.
Hi from PEI. We had a bad hurricane that destroyed 40% of our forests which is why the trails in Victoria Park are underwhelming now. Most of the trees were blown down. Before it was beautiful.
This just popped up on my YT home page. Charlottetown girlie here :) love seeing my city through the eyes of others! Thank you Also “Peakes KEY” :) for your next visit
As Ontarians who vacation in PEI, you have discovered our happy place! I can echo the comments below that you really should drive your RV up here. It has amazing camping - and Twin Shores has the best campground of all! We always go deep sea fishing with Wade at New London. It's great fun, and very reasonably priced. Of course, I'd love to hear your comments about the New Glasgow all you can eat Dinner (you buy the lobster by the pound, but the chowder, mussels, salads and desserts are all you can eat). We were stuck here this summer (I had a knee replacement), but I plan to be back on my island next summer for sure!
So happy you found our city! I was having a wee chuckle at how you say "quay". Here it is pronounced "key". You should have grabbed a "Dirt Shirt", but you definitely hit one of the best lobster roll places in town (yes, we have the best lobster in the world!), tasted some of the best ice cream in the world (seriously!) and had yourself some poutine. I hope you found Beaver Tails -- I recommend the classic cinnamon and sugar style. Come back sometime and get over to the North Shore. It's my happy place.
Love the video ! We are actually currently in the peak of the fall colours in quebec city, you are so right fall was pushed ahahah. and yes poutine is a must have. Decadently good ahahah hope you had some in Quebec, the province in wich it originated :D
Fall is beautiful here in Nova Scotia but we do not get peak colors till beginning and mid October. Glad you enjoyed your trip to Atlantic provinces ❤🇨🇦
I love watching your videos. And since I've decide to take this exact same cruise, I am enjoying your video here. My only question is what was the weather like? Im planning on going in October of 2025
I'm doing New England/Canada from Boston next year and we stop in Charlottetown; I may have to copy your exact itinerary with the poutine and half/half lobster rolls!
Great video again love the food and I always watch when I'm hungry lol in the UK we've got compost bins can't wait for more food thanks for sharing 😂❤ the 🇬🇧
East coast lobster is the best!! The best I’ve ever had was on the Halifax waterfront. Next time you’re in that port, I recommend the lobster thermidor from The Bicycle Thief restaurant.
Next time you’re in PEI you should try the local muscles. Beaver Tails is also available in other cities in Atlantic Canada . Enjoying your videos as always❗️😎🛳️
I’m dying to eat a poutine!! (I’m from Quebec and am living abroad… besides my family, that’s what I miss the most!! 😂) looking at you to eat this monster poutine is a real torture!! 😜😂
Cold lobster with Mayo on a roll is a lobster salad roll. I’m from Connecticut and will only eat warm lobster with butter on a roll. In my humble opinion, that’s a REAL lobster roll.
I'm from Maine and I agree 100%.. Also, I love garlic and lemon more than most people. However, a lobster roll is about the lobster. Add a bunch of garlic, and now you taste a nice scampi type sauce, but the lobster and roll disappear. It's very delicate. Warm fresh lobster, butter, and a hot dog bun.. Nothing beats one made at home or camp. ❤
Glad you loved your lobster. Probably not bees. They are wasps and as the queen has died in the fall, they are wildly confused and starving. I’m Canadian and staunchly believe food is of better quality generally here. However it’s better still in Europe!
I really hope there was no lobster night on the ship and if there was they sourced local lobster and not what they usually - it is a NE and Canada cruises after all!
It's essentially the same thing that is called Fried Dough at fairs/carnivals/amusement parks in the U.S.. they jazz them up with a lot more topping options, though.
I assume it was Sydney you skipped. Didn’t miss anything. Not exactly a tourist city. Most boring port we’ve ever been in. We did enjoy Charlottetown though.
Poutine is fries, gravy and cheese curds. That is the traditional way, but places are getting inventive with different ways to serve them. (But the three main ingredients are consistent, though the type of gravy may be a bit different).

Hi from PEI. Glad you enjoyed our little Island. The Quay in Peake's Quay is pronounced Key...lol.

The countries in Canada are called provinces, NOT providences. Just a friendly correction.
That is their accent in south La a v and a d are often interchanged. You have a few vowels you do the same
Look up BOTH words, and ones a part of a country, province.
@@lynnfranklin5098 disagree, she is totally saying it wrong
I agree that she is pronouncing it incorrectly regardless of her southern accent.
Well first off, there are no "countries" in Canada called provinces. Canada is a country. Provinces are provinces. Boo on you.

What Beautiful Town just seeing some Autumn colour’s is so pretty 😍
Beautiful views ❤❤Have a Good weekend 🥰
Loved the video! PEI is very beautiful and people are very friendly! Hello from 🇨🇦
Sorry to correct you, but in Canada the providences are called provinces. FYI🍻👍🏾
Thanks for sharing this video with us we really loved it! And of course we love the sky. I really love that ship.💞💞💞🛳️🦩⚓️🥰

Great video. Makes me think FOOD TOUR~~~!!!~~~ I love just walking around in a small port and getting the FLAVOR of the community!
I just came across EECC Travels two days ago. I've watched about 5 videos thus far, and look forward to watching more! Thanks from an Ontario viewer!
I so want you both to come visit Newfoundland! Maybe someday??
It's pronounced "KEE" not "KWAY".
Canadian Rule #17 East Coast for Lobster.. West Coast for Crab!
Absolutely! Nothing is better than an East Coast lobster.
I am really enjoying your videos!
Both of you are so much fun ❤
It is a good thing I have been watching these vlogs after dinner otherwise I would be so hungry. My favorite food in PEI was the mussels. So fresh and good.
Nice to have on the island! Hope you had a great time!

I was in PEI and Charlottetown last summer and this brought back a lot of memories!

Did you get to see anything that had to do with the books Anne of Green Gable? It was filmed there too.
Quay = key. Very confusing and i say it wrong all yhe time but alas thats how you pronounce it. Love PEI, one of my favorite places
We were there October 3rd on last year lots of color

Looking forward to the lobster but also the history.
When you do the Alaska cruise you go to Victoria canda

I love all the accurate info, oh wait another video with inaccurate information immediately
So how much were those lobster rolls?
What's y'all's 20, still in UK?
Your food stops looked yummy
Lol, the building build in 1833 is warping?? How old are the buildings in Egypt ?? 1000"s of years, never heard of them warping.
How is the food on your ship?
The next time your in Portland you need to get a potato donut they are awesome
I’m not sure if anyone else may have mentioned this but it is Provence not providence. Oh and no “s” on the end of poutine. 😀
The Howells is couple on Gilligan's Island ❤
Thurston Howell III and his wife, Lovey (Eunice Wentworth Howell).
The Howell's
We have provinces, not, providences....as you are saying. Just FYI
What is a Beaver tail???
It's essentially the same thing that is called Fried Dough at fairs/carnivals/amusement parks in the U.S.. they jazz them up with a lot more topping options, though.
Connecticut Lobster Rolls are goat. Maine is overrated. Great video guys
Y’all need to go to Reds in ME for an epic lobster roll.
Quay ie pronounced “Key”
Providences?? LOL. That is ok Alisa, we know you're from the STATUE of Louisiana so you wouldn't know any better.🤣
No one cares about a silly mispronunciation. Someone has too much time on their hands. LOL. 🤣
Is that her accent? Louisiana? Ah.
It is pronounced “key” not “kway” ( quay)
Quay = key.. just like you use to get in your car
Sorry, but we have provinces, not providence.
I assume it was Sydney you skipped. Didn’t miss anything. Not exactly a tourist city. Most boring port we’ve ever been in. We did enjoy Charlottetown though.
What the heck is a pootine, and how do you spell it😅😅😅😅
