I've desperately try to sell AR for months and can't find any takers. There's a big difference between KTC value and what you can actually get for him.
AR15 + Kittle was traded for Josh Allen in my league. I bout fell out of my damn chair and spit my drink out when I saw that. Anthony Richardson has played 17 actual football games since high school and had worse passing stats in college than Tim Tebow. I've been screaming from the rooftops that he's the most inexplicably over rated player I've ever seen.
Talking about AR not having contract insolation is effing crazy when during draft szn there’s so much talk about teams potentially trading into the end of the first to grab a 5th year option on a qb… It’s clearly valuable and there’s a competitive advantage to building around a cheaper qb (reasons for insolation) we’ll be able to read the room on if he’ll be a guy they’re going to want to exercise that option on, and if he is then an extension is probably immediately following. Also if more and more qbs are getting that insolated contract in terms of big money, what’s to prevent AR from doing the same if the performance barrier of entry is mid level and not high level?? I understand in theory moving down to kyler + to capitalize on the hype rn but I don’t think that’s happening in the streets. Someone w Purdy/Love also might value their guy at the same level or higher than AR because ‘he was hurt last year and hasn’t shown it yet’ you can tell them their valuation is off but that doesn’t get a trade done…

@@jonathanhaven1690 yeah I’d happily sell him for that too but I’m not in leagues w guys who value him like that lol… I think the offers I’d probably get would be like JJ McCarthy + ‘25 first or maybe Jared Goff if I’m lucky
The only problem I have with the Diggs is that the drop off had to do with the Oc change mid season and they ran the ball more after that, I think in the Houston Texans pass heavy offense Diggs will be fine for this year
Really good discussion on contracted proven QBs vs high upside rookie contracts. My QB room took a big hit this offseason with Fields becoming mostly irrelevant and TLaw still not hitting at QB1 levels consistently. Sold Aiyuk and some FAB to get Kyler to pair with TLaw. Also have Carr and D Jones and will stash Fields for now. 10-team, Superflex, 6 pt passing TD. Still have JJ, AJB, DJM, Ridley… plus Downs, Sutton, Palmer…🤞
Reassured my choice to sell Diggs for an early 2nd in at 12T SF dynasty league.. got some stick for it but i didnt undertand why as i needed a QB (Mahomes, Stafford) and managed to come up and get Nix mid draft
Just sold Mike Evan’s for Henry, my rbs were zamir and Conner, so i needed one, but my WRs are chase, London, Deebo, Dionte, jakobi, so I felt safe there
U can't judge a player by pre season. Remember when jamaar chase couldn't catch an nfl football and everyone panicked? I drafted him in round 10 his rookie year and he's gonna be a keeper of mine for years.
If you’re referring to Anthony Richardson - there’s much more evidence than pre-season that he struggles consistently passing. Primarily his entire collegiate career and his NFL Starts in 2023 🙏🏼
Also what’s the take on Kirk cousins no one talking about his fantasy relevance last season and that Atlanta just signed another QB. Bounce back from the acl even possible for the $110m contract?
I picked at the 1.03 and my league mates foolishly let me draft, Mahomes, AR, Marvin Harrison, and Brandon Aiyuk in the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th rounds. I think thats pretty good value taking AR at that spot right?
I look at Richardson like this: if Daniels and A-rich both went in the 24 draft and were both rookies (which a-rich effectively is) who would go earlier in fantasy and the real nfl draft? It would be Daniels. Similar rushing upside but Daniels is a better passer. Sure he’s smaller but a-rich is massive. And at cost I’d rather have Daniels over a rich. (Especially in redraft) but also at start up ADP. Such a high risk start up pick when you can take a more establish QB1 then come back in round 2 and grab Daniels instead. Or you could take someone like CD/Bijan/Chase and go risky with JD in round 2 and lock in that rushing upside. Pass on a-rich for me at cost.
People are seriously over valuing daniels rushing upside, u don't want that guy running, if he's running he turns into rg3 and is out in 3 years .....he's too small to run much , a rich is built to run for 8+ years...he has more rushing upside epically tds
@@philcapenmsgamingsports yeah I’m sure the commanders aren’t going to run him…at all 🤦🏻♂️ he’s also not that small. Bigger than Kyler with incredibly similar rushing traits. Do we dislike Kyler running? C’mon now. Daniels doesn’t need to be a designed run beast like Allen between the tackles to rack up 600-800 yards and 3-5 scores on the ground hardly getting hit. Even Lamar picks his spots and we love his rushing upside. He’s actually never been injured on a rushing play. No reason Daniels can’t be budget Lamar. Point still stands though. If you’re going to treat a-rich like an RB he’s going to be banged up early and often.
@brett4932 nobody said at all, every qb runs now, if u wanna project kyler stats sure that sounds reasonable most project more than 400 to 500 yards rushing , sure his first season could be like kylers 2nd season with around 800 or so, and he will prob get a major injury soon like kyler did .
@@philcapenmsgamingsports Kyler’s injury was a non contact ACL. Could literally happen you while you walk from your toilet to your ford fiesta and any nfl player at any time.
@aldennis123 I didn't even send the offer myself. Terry could pop, who knows. But ya I feel like I got a good deal even though I'm a contendingish team. 250 per year league.
Tyjae had 52 receptions and split work with Derrick Henry who is waaaay better than Pollard. He also passed the eye test. I agree he was over priced at RB14 this offseason, but 18-20 seems about right.
The upside for AR is too much for me to pass up. No one in my league would pay a 1st for him at the moment. If he finishes as QB (he easily could do) I'll be getting big offers.
I keep trying, but nobody wants to buy him. Everybody was drafting him like crazy off-season but now after his preseason game and training camp , people are overreacting and don’t want him.
Nope, I can’t agree with Corey and Danny on the Nico Collins take at his cost in dynasty. Tank Dell is a Stroud guy, and it’s range of outcomes where each guy would have individual weeks where they boom or bust. I love Tank Dell better at his cost with his price bc everyone has forgotten before Dell’s leg injury he was beating Nico out doing last season.
i think A Rich is an underrated as a passer in the preseason game with the starters he realistically only missed one pass but he showed great mechanics. plus the int was not his fault
Against backups, we already have tape on him from 2023. He's Lamar 2.0, and lamar is a run 1st QB. Run 1st QBs don't win super bowls, they win fantasy football titles, and they play in the league 6 to 8 years max. And they never ever ever produce a WR1 because they can't pass.😂
@@DynastyLandFootball it was up and down on the rpo slant he showed perfect mechanics and a great read and some of the throws were insane but yeah at the same time he’s so raw it’s almost impossible to project. Dynasty wise he’s great but short term he might be a liability
I'm with you on Spears, Zach. It's like any job in the world, and the NFL is no different. New staff, new people, and they want their guys. Pollard got paid and is their guy, no matter how talented Spears is. Pollard will get the work and is a great value. This is where the real-life NFL decisions override fantasy football.
Canales was a horrible play caller and a really good QB coach. Horribly vanilla play calling with no motion, no mismatching and a stubborn, yet predictable commitment to the run. Bucs will go up this year without him with a McVay tree OC in Cohen.
He’s going within 1-3 picks of Burrow. In the only league I got Burrow, Richardson was taken 1.07 I took Burrow 1.08. They are the same value right now which is the point.
Sorry guys but this is my least favorite attempt at content. Just pulling up KTC and saying “You can get X for Y” isn’t how anyone’s league works. There is context and the argument that someone’s value isn’t going up is kind of silly too. Diggs or Evans in a down year may have more yards than Jamo or Legette ever do. Just because a player is younger doesn’t make them better assets. It’s true that Diggs will be worth less next year than he is now, but Jamo could be dirt. This just sort of turns into “I would rather have X”, which is kind of subjective and boring. Instead, set some parameters, focus on positions and just ask who you think will disappoint based off ADP. Then if you want to talk about 31 year old receivers in the context of their value going down your audience isn’t thinking “duh”. The whole “who would you sell” without context of someone’s league is just kind of a boring, tired concept. It’s been done, it’s never been entertaining.
