Huawei GT2 pro case is in titane with sapphire crystal with 2 weeks battery life, amoled display, etc all the bell and whistles you can imagine and they were discounted at 160$ on amazon 2 weeks ago.. (which is the best bang for the buck on earth atm.. but the price of this casio watch is just nuts for what they offer..)
i never doubt about G-Shock. mine (Mudman G9300) almost 10yrs regular using (salt water, mud, dirt) and still good, tough solar never lies, the battery never dies, still high indicator until this time.
When I saw the price of the previous Titanium versions I thought it was too much money for a G Shock because I didn't like the designs or the colors, it didn't make sense to me. When this version came out I didn't hesitate for a second to get it and now that I have it I understand everything. It is a spectacular watch that weighs nothing and the details are superb. I am very happy with it.
Price is what people would pay for a product. I think some people confuse price with value. I’ve noticed that with any expensive watch and any high-end product in general, the price is exponential to the quality and exclusivity. That’s all. All that’s said - this watch is really high quality. You should hold it and look it closely 👌
Great video. Just received the GMW-B5000TVA-1JR and has been constantly on my wrist day and night. It is a unique, individual and amazing watch. What Casio has achieved is stunning, possibly making this ‘Watch of the Year’.
It very comfortable and light. My wrist size is 19cm or 7.5 inches and fits like a glove. The only downside is the pin and collar adjustments, a bit fiddly, to get the right bracelet size. The watch is amazing, you’re gonna love it.
I've just ordered one for myself hopefully it will arrive in the next 10 days or so? I can't wait! Just a quick one though pal does this watch have an IP coating on the actual black bezel or is it DLC coated?
I think Jin has a point. Most people that buy this watch have plenty of other watches. So wearing it once a week (in the best case) wouldn’t be that often

Normally not a bracelet guy but that black pvd is gorgeous and looks killer, even though it is a bit busy. Big upgrade over the typical plastic garbage they normally come with. I have to get jays and Kay's adaptors or Barton straps on all mine because of how stiff and unmoving the lugs/base of the strap are. I wish they would stop making the ends of the g stick out so far because you can't change the strap withoutba mod so if your wrist doesn't like the size and angle then your screwed.
Please show a proper view of the clasps on your next watch reviews. I can't see if its stamped or machined nor whether the clasp have any micro adjust features. From the description on the bracelet i'm guessing the attachments are split pins. Case looks good, bracelet looks flimsy and definitely not worth the 2.2k SGD for a digital watch.
Buy the pro trek PRW 3500T you will be very happy mine fell from three floors of my apartment and only the titanium band got grazed and dented, Changed to black pro trek nylon bands and have been happy ever since.
You can see the design team working on this in your mind, its very classy Casio, very luxury retro. Price too high for its features and materials used. But def. a nice and clean design made with love. Great collector. And timeless.

Meaning I've never seen a Ti G that's not a weak design trying way too hard to compensate.

DLC can be either matte or shiny. Take the GMW-B5000TFC-1 (the 35th anniversary model) for example. That one is DLC-coated despite having a shiny finish.
They do I have it lol took a while of looking around but it's a gshock with the minute and hour hand in red and under is digital for day and power reserve and seconds. I've had it for 12 years now never had to do anything. Was around $200 black and red and chrome. It even has the atomic time thing that links with every so often so the time is always correct even winds itself on daylight savings time. Can also do stopwatch features and has the beautiful aqua blue light. Water resistant to 200m

It's gorgeous, but all that laser etching is an OCD time bomb that is just waiting to start ticking. With the inevitable knocks and scratches, the camo titaniums are a better choice.

This is stunning. 198k JPY is a little rich for my taste, but the watch is absolutely beautiful. It feels like the natural progression of the G-Shock design ethos. A couple of things: It looks like the code etched on the bracelet links is actually the parts code for the bracelet itself. Other Casio watches have it only on the back (283-N-71-18 for F-91W-4A2 strap and 444-FB116 for the G-5600E). The DLC coating, also seems to be throughout the bracelet, bezel and caseback. The shiny surfaces are just polished before application of the 'Diamond-like' Carbon coating. Cheers!
I love the square Gs but not that much! I've already replaced the case and strap on my positive display GW-M5610 with a black PDV stainless steel case and bracelet from Ali Express for about $50 USD if I remember right. I've also got a negative display DW-M5610BC that came with the Combi bracelet for about $278 USD.

If u can spend 2k on this might as well save another 2k and get a Tudor. No quartz watch is worth beyond 500bucks for me. I have a GA2000 or GA2100 and used a titanium camouflage mod from Ali. Saved me 1000bucks. Ti camo has been scratch free for over 2 years of use in sports and military service. Mod video in my profile. There are DLC titanium watches with Japanese automatic movement that can be had for 200 to 300 bucks. Example Hamtun watches. Casio titanium watches are just stupid expensive with little value.

Actually, you can get a new Tudor for $2k. Not the Black Bay but 1926, but it’s still a Tudor, a Rolex brand - not a Casio, a frickin’ Casio brand.
