Companion planting is such a great way to maximize space in your garden and as a way to help plants benefit from one another. For example, companion planting certain crops near one another can help deter pests. Some crops are quicker to mature and so you can plant them in small spaces and harvest before they compete for space with a longer maturing crop. No matter what your reason for companion planting is, it's such a wonderful gardening technique!

Hi! I think you mentioned in your video that you will be adding a cover crop. Do you mind sharing more information about what cover crop you’re going to plant? Thank you!

Hi there 😊 I don’t remember mentioning a cover crop, I may have talked about planting daikon radishes though which are included in many cover crop mixes. I’m not going to plant any cover crops because I’ve planted all of my fall crops and my beds are filled. Cover crops are great in colder zones where you can’t grow a fall/winter garden but many cover crops are almost like weeds and so even though they’re beneficial they can take over and sort of be a pain.
