Thanks for tuning in! I'm a 28 true waist but Uniqlo bottoms usually fit 1 size large on me so I went with a 27. Don't expect the waist to stretch on these, hope that helps!
tbh options are kinda limited here. check out Kerbside, Bronson, Unbranded and Carousell has some gems too! Might also want to consider using japan proxies since the yen is cheap.

It was great for a few months but then started to lose the dark color and became uncomfortably skinny
That's unfortunate... I wash mine regularly (no hot water) and the shrinkage is minimal.

It's the selvedge regular fit straight jeans, still available where I'm based in (Singapore)
What length did you get the inseam on these? I'm 5'5 and trying to get a good idea as a 30 lightly touches the ground at my heel barefoot haha
I altered it to 62.5cm, but for most my other pants, it's 69cm for a no break look
