Great stuff as always, giving me serious thoughts about race prepping my Sprite... Do you get a chance to warm the engine and brakes up before the practice runs?

Yes, you'll typically be idling and engine running for 5-10 minutes between marshalls coming to get you and being on the start line. as for the brakes, not so much - you need good pads that are sharp from cold

We’re off to Curborough with the Midget and Sprite Club in a couple of weeks. Just a fun track day rather than an official sprint, but that doesn’t stop people trying!

Hi, long time subscriber. My name is Ken Barlow, Midget owner/driver and own three AH Sprites that are in need of work before they can be used properly. Are you interested in doing an interview for the MG Car Club of Western New York Centre for the magazine, Spokes? And possibly submitted to the mother club and possibly Midget and Sprite club? Questions about your experience with your Midget and other MGs and other cool cars, your experience with the MG Car Club events, driving, racing, the restoration work you did, and how UA-cam impacts everything? Basically I'll just emai a list ofl questions, you reply at your leisure and maybe include a few photos, and I'll format it and submit. We'll include links here, of course.
