Yes...as others have said...headphones please!!! You will not believe how much better it sounds. You hear the bass and it rattles your chest. I promise you that you will be happy when you use them. I didn't know myself for 2 years and it was like night and day! I heard so much more than I thought was in the song. Great reaction!! This is one of my favorites by them. I can't wait for your reactions to their Christmas music. So many good ones to choose from. What am I saying!? They're all good ones!! Lol 😆 🤣 My personal favorite is O Holy Night. They put this one out last year. (The best I've ever heard them sing. ) Thank you again for a great reaction!!
Great reaction. Recommend their cover of The Prayer. You will be surprised by some of the Christmas music. A few titles that comes to mind are O Come All Ye Faithful, O Holy Night, and, an original, Please Santa Please. However, all of their Christmas music is great.
Yes, we are all different like you said and like this video portrays but in the end, we are all human and deserve to be treated equally. Loved your reaction!
Great reaction!! And you got the message totally. Every one of us are different from one another in pretty much every way possible...yet we ALL belong to the human race. Really looking forward to the Christmas season with you. PTX has soooooo much great Christmas pieces and I can promise you that they do even the ones you're familiar with in such a unique way so that it'll become your new fave of that song. For Halloween: My Favourite Things and Making Christmas. Both are creepy and Tim Burton-ish.
I've seen this and your Hallelujah reaction, and liked your comments on both, but these are pretty heavy songs, so maybe for something more fun, you should try their original, "Sing!", or their cover of "My Favorite Things". You should be aware that there has been one member change, when Avi left and was replaced by Matt back in 2017 as the bass.
PTX absolutely OWNS Xmas with at least Six holiday albums!! But please, please, please use headphones (or at least ear buds)... Otherwise you miss out on SOOO much! All these Pentaholics wouldn't lie!!
Welcome to the PTX rabbit hole ❤ "O Holy Night" and "O Come All Ye Faithful" - holiday must-listens. Oh, pick anything, you won't be disappointed! And btw, "Making Christmas" and the official video of "Aha" will make your H'ween, too!
I liked the message of the PTX version more than John Lennon's meaning. PTX is saying that all our differences are fine and we can get along. John Lennon's Imagine was if we didn't have any differences to divide us. The PTX version says we can live with each other even if we have major differences.
O ok. Just found this one . TX for more pudding. So glad you will be doing PTX Xmas songs. They are absolutely stunning and so LOVED. GREETINGS FROM SOUTH AFRICA
We like to say that #Pentatonix doesn't do covers, they do upgrades, and for the most part it's true. But how do you upgrade a song that's already perfect? Well, if you're Pentatonix you look for a way to make that song more itself. In the case of "Imagine" Pentatonix treats the song and the song's writer with the utmost respect, and engages in a dialogue. John Lennon saw that things like religion and nationality divide us, so he suggested that we get rid of those things. But Pentatonix sees that it isn't possible to get rid of religions and nations, so they propose another solution. You see, the real problem is something much deeper than religion, or nationality, or even money. The real problem is the human tendency to reject people who are different. So Pentatonix looks for ways around that problem, and then they show us how a healthy community deals with differences. First Pentatonix looks for and finds the things they share with each other, the ways they're alike. And in the process they also find the things that make them individuals. And because they've already found the things that draw them together they can not only accept their differences but celebrate them. Doing that, looking at differences clearly and with love, gives them greater insight. It makes them a stronger, wiser, more compassionate community, and they all benefit from their diversity. Instead of dividing them diversity draws them together, until they can look at everyone and see the one thing that we all share - we're all human. And this means that when they meet someone who is very different indeed, in ways that otherwise might seem bizarre or dangerous, they can still see that fundamental truth, that we're all human, and we're all in this together. Unlike everyone in Pentatonix, I'm old enough to have heard John sing "Imagine" live. And that means I'm old enough to have the evening news from December 8th, 1980 seared on my memory: John Lennon, dead. Killed by an assassin who ambushed him when he was coming home after an evening out with his wife, Yoko. For those of us who remember that night, the grief and shock remain as strong now as they were nearly 44 years ago. John had only 40 years on this planet. We have no way to know what else he would have given us if he'd been able to live out his full life; all we know is what he DID give us, his perfect anthem, "Imagine." I wish he'd been able to see this video. It would have made him so proud.
Hey just stumbled across your channel brand new I really enjoy your reactions. Welcome to the Pentatonix rabbit hole. Regarding your Christmas songs Ily recommend recommend recommended Pentatonix version of Mary did you know.1 of their newest original s from a couple years ago was called please Santa please, That's Christmas to me! I'm new to your channel; this reaction just showed up in my feed today. You obviously aren't new to #Pentatonix, but I don't know which of their songs you've already heard because _there is no Pentatonix playlist._ This is the point where I would normally be recommending specific songs, but I try not to recommend songs a reactor has already reacted to, and I can't do that for you - my memory isn't good enough to go through your entire list of videos and note which PTX songs you've already reacted to so I can avoid them. If you don't want recommendations from pentaholics, that's fine; I won't make recommendations. But if you do want recommendations you may want to create a Pentatonix playlist, to make things easier for your subscribers.
Fantastic reaction but definitely do yourself a favor and listen with headphones even if you have surround sound....youll hear so much more
Will definitely be looking forward to your Pentatonix Christmas reactions!
