Ok, using the mesh as interfacing was *genius* and I have some stiff mesh ribbon I've been staring at for months that I now know what to do with so *thank you*!!
Charlie has been doing UA-cam for quite a while now so she is super cute and confident, give Carrie a chance to gain that same super cute confidence as her sister 🤗🤗 they both approach dressmaking from different angles so it will be fun watching Carrie grow with each new videos that she brings out It was great to see I was not the only one who has used mesh in place of horse hair and stiffener 😹😹😹

Hi Carrie just nipped over from Charlie’s Stitchery. Mainly because she said if we wanted to make things then to pop over. So here I am. Need to make a pattern from a garment that I have worn for so long it is now very threadbare off to make a coffee and will be right back.xxxx
I'm here from The Sticherys channel 😄 The dress is cute! I like how you added the zig zag trim around the shoulders. This makes me want to put together a mystery box for my sister. Lastly, cat is so darn cute! 😺

I'm watching this because of the mystery box challenge and if I hadn't watched the other video first, I would be completely bewildered. I'm glad you enjoyed it but I'm basically saying "ok, you made a belt and you say you made other stuff but you didn't SHOW any of your working. Finally the video cuts out mid word. Truly disappointingnot to actually see the outfit I assume you created I know sisters are different but having been told that you do great tutorials, I guess I'm disappointed but maybe that's misplaced expectations on my part.
Really was expecting something a lot better than this. I mean all that beautiful red fabric and you only make a melt and two simple tops??? Your sister really talked you up.
I was coming to say the same thing; does it literally cut out in the middle of a word for anyone else? I’ve noticed this a few times with Carrie’s videos. I hate to be critical, so I really hope this comes across as constructive criticism: if I hadn’t just watched Charlie’s video, I would have been quite confused. A short introduction with the premise of the mystery box, the rules of the swap, then your ideas for how you’re using each item in the box, would have made the video a lot more clear and cohesive. The talk of tunic and bralette at the end felt like a rushed afterthought, which is really sad when you have such wonderful ideas. Your tutorials are so good and creative, it’s just a shame the lack of intro and abrupt cut off endings really makes it tough to watch. Hearing your ideas and then seeing how you craft them is what we’re here for!
