    It just keeps pulling and pulling.
    I am currently looking at a 2008 & a 2009 Fat Bob and am very close to pulling the trigger on one of them .... can't wait.

    Hey greetings from Down Under.....I just bought a 2013 Fat Bob with V&H short shots.
    I like the sound of your pipes, what are they?
    Btw I rode a M109R Boulevard and the riding position is almost identical...

    I didn't buy a harley for high performance. I bought it for comfort and cruising, both of which I get in ample amounts. bought a 2014 Fatbob a week ago.. can't wait to get it :)

    love Fat Bob ,I did not buy it for speed but she will lift her skirt if needed and now with the ohlins rear shocks my ass stays in the seat over the bumps ,I had to quit my beloved Aprillia Tuono 1100rr before either the cops or the reaper got me LOL

    definitely km/h. I've had my fat boy past the numbers a few times, but the speedo only goes to 125 mph. No way a twin cam could rev high enough even with a 6 speed for that to be mph. Still - 190km/h is just under 120. Respectable.

    • @shanegriffith7838
      @shanegriffith7838 5 років тому

      My fat bob hits 123 ish mph at 4400 in 6th gear. Sadly that’s all it will do. It just stops accelerating rpms stop it’s weird. Makes me sad also. Power vision maybe override it? I’m looking into options

    Took mine on the german Autobahn on the third day hahah just rocked 210 kmh 😂😅 fat bob/2010/ 96 cubic inch motor. But i was close to fly off that thing 😥 very windy that day

  • @MrAirmentbob
    @MrAirmentbob 8 років тому

    I'd consider it a speed test if you hit the rev limiter in ever gear but 6th. stock they don't have enough power to compensate for wind resistance in 6th gear. 3rd quits around 85 mph or so with a stage 1 around 6k rpms.

      wdherbert I have taken mine to 90 -95 plenty. Once I replaced the front wheel with one from RC components because Harley doesn't offer any the ride much smoother especially at higher speeds over 70. No shaking

    Hey guys l'm thinking of switching from an R1 to a Fat Bob. How does it feel at 80mph on the fwy? is it true your back starts to hurt after an hour of riding? l like the Fat Bob and Fat Boy, but l think the Fat Bob will be more my style after riding a Sportsbike for 18 yrs.

    • @MetalMulisha23
      @MetalMulisha23 5 років тому

      I've rode sportbikes and Harleys.. I have a fat bob and also a r6.. a fat bob is great on the hwy, especially with the 6 speed transmission. Obviously your not going to get the adrenaline rush on a dyna as you would with a 300kmh 1000cc sportbike. But for long rides I'll take my dyna fat bob any day over my r6. I can go easily farther on my dyna before stretching. Bottom end torque on a 96ci is nice tho, light to light Harleys are hard to beat.

    Good tires and riding on a well known highway if you make a few passes at normal speed you can safely open her up and see what it will do. Mine tops at 117 mph.

    I got a 2013 Fatbob, still getting used to the foot position. they go plenty fast enough, including getting around corners.

    At that speed, do your feet feel like they will be blown off the footpegs with the forward controls ?

    • @nmchugh1

      Greg Lessing I had some crash bars with leather lowers. Stopped you feet getting blown off the legs and kept you lower leg dry in the rain!
