@9:06 on your video, when Changbin is rapping and Seungmin and Han are singing, and it's all overlapping and weaving together like a rich tapestry of sound......that is my VERY FAVORITE PART of the entire performance. Gave me chills back then, and still does.

The whole show was amazing! This particular challenge was switching songs with another group, so BTOB did a Stray Kids song and it was soooo gooood too! SKZ specifically wanted to show off their vocal chops in this performance and they did not disappoint (Chan's high note at the end too just brings it all together after Seungmin/Han vocals with Changbin rap). Definitely recommend checking out the whole series if you get the chance (it's subbed online).
There were six groups in total competing in the show (in debut order):
    BTOB
    iKON
    SF9
    The Boyz
    Stray Kids
    Ateez

It was so perfect with the song that I have to really listen for the infamous voice crack.
Was that really enough to send them to 5th place? They got robbed. 🤬

Still can't believe the judges put this performance in LAST PLACE! And no... Its not even because all of the other groups performances from this round were better. This was by far one of the best. BTOB did Stray Kids "Back Door" and murdered it. And i think it was Ateez who was the other highly impressive one. Those three, hands down, the best of that round. And I say this based not on bias, but on the purpose of the round being that they needed to take another groups song and remake the storyline to it. Well, Stray Kids did that perfectly, and they gave it a truly deep and meaningful one at that.
Of course, Hyunjin was missing from Kingdom. And that plays a role in this. All the members had matching rings made. The very ones they are all wearing around their necks in this performance. Hyunjin's, is hanging around the neck of the stone child, and later around the living childs neck. The story, is about that very child dying, and those that love him wanting him back. They ask heaven, and they get denied. So they literally go to hell for him, and they ask for him back. They want him to be brought back to life so badly, they are willing to give anything. Including their own lives. Hell grants them this exchange. The childs innocent soul for all of theirs. So, they return the childs heart to the statue, the child is brought back... Then hell came to collect. They then fall to the ground, dead. Without a doubt one of the most beautifully envisioned, structured, visually stunning, perfectly written, and emotionally executed. Not go mention masterfully sung, rapped, choreographed, produced and in the end... Skillfully conveyed and PERFECTLY performed that stage.
All of this, done by a group that is not vocal focused, with one of the most difficult vocal songs in K-POP. So much so that even BTOB no longer perform it. They did it using their main rapper as a miam vocalist, leaving their other main rapper to cover a rap menat for TWO people, by himself. And doing so perfectly. So why, pray tell, did they receive last place in the judges ranking?... Because the storyline was too complicated, and they felt tht I.N... whom everyone had assumed made an artistic choice to go for a falsetto instead of a belt near the very end of the song, was deemed by the judges to have instead had a singular flat note. Something which, in the precious weeks performances, other groups had instances where a rather obvious note fell flat and at MOST received perhaps one place lower than they would have had they hit it. While others had absolutely no repercussions for such a thing happening that we were able to see reflected in their scores.
On top of this, they cornered himz by himself, right After he left the stage... Heartbroken. And basically interrogated him about it and literally made him breakdown on camera. Finally, BangChan was abkr to get to him and get to a room without a camera to console him. Which he did, beautifully, and in a complete father like way. We know this, because those snakes used a camera located in the corner of the adjoining room to freaking spy on them and record them. To add insult to injury, they used Stray Kids "failure" as the spotlight of the episode, wnd they used the interrogation "interview" of I.N. crying AND the privet moments between him amd Chan, where Chan was consoling him. For the "Next Time On Kingdom...." advertisements. Plastering it everywhere. The fandom, and the group, were heartbroken.
On top of all that, they put more work into that performance than any other. They blew everyone away, both the other idols and the public. They were even tending in Korea on melon for hours after that with people wanting to know more about them, to date its one of the most viewed performances of the whole competition. Yet not only did they receive the ONLY low position in the rankings that a SKZ performance has EVER had on Kingdom. But MSNAKE also did what they did to I.N. and used him for the clout because SKZ had the largest international fandom of all the groups competing. I believe they actually failed their performance not for the two BS reasons given, but because Stray Kids were having an all-kill streak of performances in the competition. Of course, such a massive loss brought their overall score closer to those of the other groups.

I heard recently (not sure if it’s true since I don’t have a source just some comments on another UA-camrs reaction of this performance) that the judges lowered their score because they changed the song ‘too much’ which they didn’t like since ‘I’ll be your man’ is a classic beloved song… even though the whole point of this round was to make the other groups song your own? I honestly assumed the ranking was low cause the judges thought they hadn’t changed the song enough, not the opposite! And that they didn’t understand the story line for some reason.
So yeah apparently the boys found out later that that was the reason and it had nothing to do with I.N’s note. Still makes bullshit sense though and it was cruel to make Innie out to be the reason. I think he himself wasn’t happy from his performance (I loved it but we are all our own worst critics) since he didn’t seem happy with it from the moment the performance ended. I absolutely think msnake made it worse by getting up in his face so he didn’t have the chance to calm down and talk with the members before being singled out and isolated in the interview. But he was already stressing about the performance in the rehearsal so he didn’t do as well as he wanted in the performance.

They also took the prompt of reborn so literally to tie it in.

Stray Kids added lyrics and rap sections to the song to make it more theatrical.
