The thing with this song is not necessarily that the mixing engineers had a lot of trouble but that they were going for more of a dream pop aesthetic where the point is for the vocals to be placed further in the back. I personally love it for this song but it’s not surprising other ppl struggle more with it. I’m glad they released this version for the people who wanted that clearer vocal sound though!

In addition, if you would like to hear Taemin performing his very first full rap song, I suggest you react to "The Rizzness". Don't be fooled by the title. If you read the lyrics, he excoriates those who try to demonstrate their rizzness by hiding behind the anonymity of social media. It's fantastic and the production is like nothing I've seen yet, except with Taemin's and the other SHINee members videos.

All the Sea of Hope covers are really great if you enjoy Rose vocals, and the duet and trio stuff she is in is really enjoyable as well (and has other great vocalists as well). Different than hearing her re-interpret her own stuff, of course, but still very emotional and direct and fresh to hear.

PLEASE REACT TO KISS OF LIFE ON SONG STEALER! They covered 'Sixth Sense" by Brown Eyed Girls which is a legendary kpop group in korea. Basically, its a program where an artist can openly steal another artist's song with the original artist being there. Kiof managed to win them over with their performance. Belle and Haneul's vocals were INSANE.

I listened to that song obsessively when it came out so for me I liked that as much as Drama XD But now we have Armageddon on that level too :O I'm also so impressed with the MV too, as an animator/vid editor myself I'm always fascinated by how some of these shots are thought up/planned. I've been really enjoying the album a lot too, It's the first album I've liked this year with no skips for me.

Jay has 400-500 songs credited in his career, where he actually isn't doing mainly rap/hiphop and he's on a lot of people's feature to a point where listeners learn about those artists through Jay. His R&B album from 2016 (Everything You wanted) is probably one of his more listened to project (could be wrong)
