It is kinda sad to watch Noel’s new comedy special and learn abt his childhood and then see the things he says in these videos and how much they relate to himself. He definitely uses comedy to cope w the trauma and I applaud that

@@evebarry2091 his comedy special is fully on youtube, it is called Stop Trying. If I remember correctly, during a big chunk of it he talks about how his parents were often fighting and he had to be their mediator, his mom would tell him or his dad to kill himself when he was angry, and his dad was really stressed out about in how much debt the family was and would often put his frustrations on a very young Noel. Not sure how much of it is fact and how much fiction, but it does sound like he had an inspiring/troublesome youth.
