"so how is pinball like sex?"
"it's fun for the whole family!"
WTF
It usually only lasts a minute or two for me
"So how is pinball like sex?"
"It's fun for the whole family!"
Yup, that's the worst possible answer.
3:11 Bryant is like "can you guys still hear me"? No Bryant, nobody cares about you.
Thanks for uploading this, games at this system 11 time were excellent

There needs to be a new pinball theme song, other than The Who.
I swear to god the Today Show staff act like they've never even seen a pinball machine let alone played one. Are these people aliens? What kind of weird childhoods did they have
System 11 heaven!
I wonder what his high score is in Windows Space Cadet Pinball
Well, he meant, "Step" family.
It's all good.
Lol
Before there was Larry David there was Bryan Gumball, who set the standard on insulting his guest over the many years on the Today Show, If you ever see Mr Gumball fell free to Punch him in the Nose to let him no he touched you in a special when lit way.
Yea he was definately an arrogant asshole!!!!
you "win" tube.com !
Coool! gimme the elvira machine!
At first I was like, holy shit, they were actually doing puff pieces for pinball back then. But even then, this annoying twerp interviewer is kinda hating on pinball, calling it luck and asking about its bad reputation. Scoring on a pinball is like scoring on a woman's body, anyone can see the parallels. Why bring it up on daytime TV? I liked how the pinball dude completely ignored the question.
This was no puff piece, it was a hit piece- if you watch this vid and the 1993 interview Bryant Gumbel does with Lyman Sheats, you will see Gumbel has been instructed to keep the narrative going that pinball is a silly kids game requiring no skill and only losers play. Both interviews were NOT good for pinball's image and most likely set pinball back from breaking into the mainstream for however long..It's not Bryant Gumbel speaking his opinion- he is reading from a teleprompter which means what he said was written down before he said it, which means it's propaganda coming from the higher-ups..this kind of garbage is why I don't watch tv anymore.
*Watch Bryant Gumbel's other early 90's hit piece on pinball where he interviews Lyman- for whatever reason the script Gumbel is reading has the intention of keeping the public image of pinball as a silly kid's game that requires no skill and only losers play it in bars and basements..just more propaganda from the propagandists at the Today Show*
Yea it wasn't as obvious that these news shows were propaganda then as it is now. Just about every network are nothing, but Trump haters and that's all they discuss.
lol morning show in the early 90's...let's bring up sex and put on Elvira....and then keep talking about sex.
