I saw Bon Jovi open for Ratt back in 85. World Infestation tour. I was 15. And now at 53, I am going to see Stephen perform tomorrow night in Austin. You better go see all these old school rockers before they retire or no longer can perform. An entire generation of music is leaving us. What I would do to go back to 1981-89.
They didn't voluntarily take a break in 1992. It was more like a two-fold thing -- the Seattle grunge scene was taking over, and they fulfilled their contract with Atlantic Records with the Ratt & Roll 8191 hits album. In other words, their time as kings of the mountain was up, and they were forced to take a break against their will. Throw in the fact that guitarist Robbin Crosby kicked the bucket a decade later, and the downhill slide continued on.
Not being mean just surprised and baffled.. So that interview was early 2000s so what 20 years... I might be wrong but hasnt he aged alot in twenty years..?
