Amazing band,musicians but most importantly humans. I have loved Stryper since they first released, even though I was into many other bands they stood out, great music ,talent and were kool but "pointed up to our Creator!!!" They show as humans our struggles our honest human nature but they weren't ashamed to share to people faith in a Creator and that He is good!!!! Stryper impacted me positively🙏🙏🙏. Glad they are still jamming and wow Michael Sweets vocals!!!!🤙🤙🤙

I could never get into, "Against the Law" it just wasn't Stryper to me

I love Stryper, I love glam metal. Everything we do as followers of Christ should point others to God. Im not saying that I always do this, yet I should strive to always to this, this was the life of Christ and the diciples. Whatever stage God gives us it is there for us to proclaim Him and bring His creation to Him and to share His love and truth with His creation. :)

"Against The Law" is one if my favorite records. I had a hard time with all the sappy songs like "Honestly". I wanted a heavier Stryper, and they delivered on ATL.

not sure why they wore girl makeup and made themselves look effeminate? I mean, they looked like women if you recall. I guess that was part of the sell out. Great band and voices. just never understood the effeminate image.

I have always been a fan since the beginning. When Against The Law dropped I was not surprised because of they were going through as far as them being Christian band. Against The Law in my opinion is one of their best albums to this day.

Against the Law was a AWESOME album! Stryper led me to Jesus plain and simple! They were able to reach people other bands couldn’t, think of how many people have found Jesus that otherwise wouldn’t have if they hadn’t listen to Stryper.

God bless these men 100-fold!!!! They sat in the hot seat for Jesus!!! Mad respect!!!!!!

You guys are Awesome and never ever stop singing and playing for God. Satan will do his best to destroy something that God wants from you guys. God gave you talent an assignment and that is reaching out to people through your music so that they to would come to know Christ. I would love to come to one of your concerts. I never had to money to do so but I love your music and it speaks God and that the only thing that counts.

Against the law is a great album!

Dude, with exception of a few singles from other albims this Against The Law album is not only the best strypwe album but rhe only strypeer album i like in its ent entirely. HUGE thanks to the legendary producer Tom Werman. Unlike all the other albums, this one is NOT cheese and stands on its OWN as a kick ass rock album, with amazing hooks and an edge and pop sensibility. People are stupid, close your eyes and listen.

I remember this! Real videos used to come on at 3 am EST. I actually stayed up to watch this cause I was such a big fan. 😂

Stryper against the law could have gone gold and platinum. But unfortunately it stops at 480,000 copies due to enigma bankrupt. So by the time, they sign a new label to hollywood records in mid 1991, things has changed in the industry. Nirvana by this time in 91 have came out with never mind. So that album just disappeared

This was a tough period in music, and the Devil was definitely punishing us by bringing in Grunge~

It's embarrassing to think back to the narrow-minded Christians at this time. Their idea of "God" was tiny. Thankfully we've come a long way (I hope). It would be laughable to come across a "Christian" today who took issue with any of the following topics (inspired by the songs on Against the Law): 1) Christians standing up against unbiblical doctrine coming from the Church itself 2) A message to a two-timing woman to "don't come back this way" 3) Celebrating what one was born to do: rock the people 4) Loyalty to one another 5) Refusing a one-night stand 6) Encouragement to reach towards your dreams 7) The unrealistic expectations given to an ordinary man 8) The universal desire to court someone 9) Dealing with doubt while at a crossroads in life 10) A call for unity in a world that's falling apart 11) Fighting a spiritual battle through music What a peculiar time in Christendom. God forbid that Christians turn their backs on other Christians going through "valleys" as described in this video. SMH.
