It wasn't too long ago we had people breaking Guinness World Records on TV. Is an olympic sprinter just wasting time running? What people don't seem to realise is that "beating Tetris" is the eSports / speedrunner equivalent. Why is this somehow seen as different levels of talent? It certainly makes you think, right?

i haven't watched any of the shows, but i've seen the clips, and Kim comes across as very prim and proper, a little uptight if you will and unafraid to speak her mind. But clearly she had a lot of animosity towards Colleen. Colleen on the other hand seems very friendly and approachable. so what's the problem. Kim had absolutely no reason to be so angry at Colleen, at least that's what Colleen wants you to think. But Kim's behavior is a direct result of being the target of nasty behavior. Kim's behavior was pure rage, and something has to trigger it and usually the trigger is also the target of said rage.

"tetris boy" has a name: Willis Gibson. Maybe this newscaster didn't realize a few things :
    1. its a major milestone - it literally hasn't been done in 30 years of people trying (and this is a task which originally was thought to be PHYSICALLY IMPOSSIBLE).
    2. He dedicated his achievement to his father. HIS FATHER WHO DIED THE YEAR BEFORE. (for all you people who sh*t talk maybe think about the class act you have to be to do this to a 13 year old. FOr someone in journalism to be this clueless on a story is just painful.) oh yeah hid DEAD DAD actively encouraged him - this was something they shared - his DEAD DAD cheered him on at tournaments. his DEAD DAD bought him a light up neon sign with his competition pseudonym.
    3. Take a good look in the mirror. what have you done lately. Have you done anything thats a WORLD RECORD?!
    4. for those who say he should go outside. take a good look at his physique. its obvious the kid does other stuff than sit in front of video games all day. like his other past times: cycline and bowling. yeah they're not really that impressive - but what did you do when you were 13?
