Here's some useless trivia for you: Skeleton Zombies (or I guess this game simply refers to them as Skeletons) originate from the 2020 version of PvZ 3 which used 3D models (and debatebly better than the current PvZ 3). While you referenced Battle Cats, their appearance + behavior are similar to (if not inspired by) the Dry Bones enemy from the Super Mario franchise, which predates Battle Cats' zombie enemies.
Glad its official! Im also quite happy that it is still difficult enough that you dont win EVERY level easily, but easy enough that you were able to beat many levels in a row. I feel like that is a major problem with pvz games nowadays, where there is no ebb and flow in the difficulty. Also, here is your tip: torch zombies have very little hp. One fume shroom is enough to take them out most of the time. Skeletons need at least 3 fume shrooms or 3 puff shrooms to fully kill, so be careful there too. One more thing if that wasnt very helpful, sun shrooms produce the fastest out of all the sun producers, so spamming them means that you will generally have a net gain in sun and at least stall the zombies. Hey matt, thanks for reading my comment! I have a few more tips if you want to read it, if you unlock Narcissus, it stuns zombies and deals the same damage as a peashooter, for 50 sun. Scaredy shroom is weirdly overpowered, being 25 sun and dealing the same damage as a peashooter. Hard nut is terrible, peanut is better overall with faster recharge and is a glorified repeater + wallnut Edit: you can bait necromancer by placing a puffshroom, on his lane, top, or bottom, just make sure its on the 3rd last lane. As he activates his abilities on the 2nd row.
Been playing this myself on and off. Learned recently that the elegant costume also has the gravebuster give coins when it destroys graves and has a bit more health, sounds like a good investment (if only I learned that before I bought other things lol)

Btw Sunflower and Twin sunflowers are slower in Nigth time this nerf can be cured whit a coffee bean also twin sunflowers giving triple sun is a bug its fixed in the upcoming 1.3 update

I think you should put sun producing plants in the middle so the plants that actually directly protect your lawn have more time to defend.

Narcissus deals 5dmg and peashooter 10dmg, so it's actually the half
Also, it can't damage gravestones, but yeah, the stunning is great
I looove what they did with the necromancer; it's a lot like wizard and Octo-Zombie in PvZ2, but far less frustrating.

Tip: use sunflowers as meatshield in the front and back becuase the sun production is slow
You should use snow pea a little more it’s good in later levels and buy the walnut costume it’s really helpful if you have lots of sun!!!

Sunflowers and twin sunflower produce slower at night. Coffee bean makes them produce normally.
