But he certainly doesn't look tall, nor thin - and his waist looks nothing but large... None of his, "visual aspect", and, "illusion", blarney seems all that convincing.
I love this, there is nothing wrong with asking the tailor what the best which ever shape. Usually makes you look better. Very few guys actually look perfect in a suit off the rack. Some men have the right shoulders others not so much and like he said if you are chubby there is no reason you can't look good.
If you want to look thinner wear an orange polyester leisure suit with bell bottom pants and a really huge collar open to expose your chest hairs. Prepare to be ogled by the ladies.
I am so glad I found Your channel. I'm so tired of dressing Urban/ Hood. But I have no clue about Suits. And the prep look is kinda getting boring 💯 I just Subscribed 💯💚💚💚
It is intentional flair, often referred to as a tie pin; one can use it to give the tie ‘movement’ as if it is a wave or such. Whilst it can be used to just stop your tie moving away from your shirt, it has some history of being used as an accenting jewellery in a man’s wardrobe and/or to ‘shape’ a tie’s movement. Examples can be seen in English aristocrats or even Tzar Nicholas back in the days of faberge etc.
Yeah his tie distracted me and not in a good way. Whoevers idea it was to make this intentional is as annoying as that tie looks. I couldn't take advice from a man that wears his tie like that intentionally lol.
Agreed. Just waiting for a viewer to reply that "it's deliberate", and then add a description about the functionality. We get it, but it's still annoying lol. Not even his accent could save him with that tie.

how about going to gym, thats a better solution to shape your body I a certain way. but either way great tip since ppl not active as they use to be back in the days.
Exactly. No matter what he does, or wears - and no matter how much he spends to get there and regardless how terrific he looks when it's over - whatever the result is, he'd still look 10x better in it if he was physically slimmer and in better general shape... The unavoidable bottom line.
While I do agree with that, I still believe you should dress to the current body type, instead of doing it according to your end goal. Not by breaking the bank of course, but just because you see yourself as sloppy right now doesn't mean you can't have a sharp presentation. Just my 2 cents
@@riccardozanetti2893 i agree. however getting a bespoke suit and having it tailored to try to appear thinner certainly doesn't show any kind of intent of getting in shape. spending thousands on a suit for your current shape certainly won't encourage change.
@@louiscyfer6944 I'm not saying you should spend thousands of dollars to do it, but it's smarter to dress for your current body type than the future one. at least its bengal instead of something more simplistic
@@chief6541I don’t think that’s a problem since the stripes on the shirt and on the suit do not have the same spacing

Superb design
Love your channel, real british craftsmanship
I like to imagine Severus snape having this conversation with the tailor wanting to buy a suit for summer break.
What does this mean?
I don't follow..
Fun fact: the guy talking weighs 450 lbs. his suit makes him look that good.
No red tie needed for this power suit
Love this
is there a full video version of this? can't find it!
Lol you could have told him about his tie
It was intended to look like that
It’s deliberate my guy

Nice suit but why is he tie like that?
You can always be thinner, look better.
Why is the tie popping out?
The same reason that's behind this whole monologue he's giving: he's actually convinced himself it has merit.

Indeed, east end market stall accent spoils the delivery of correct information
I truly hope to afford a tailored suit for my son (who has autism) before I die. He thinks he’s “fat & ugly” no matter what I try. ☹️
I couldn't respect him as an expert with that tie.
Yet, there he is being seemed out as an expert for large audiences, and here you are just a jealous comment on a UA-cam channel 🤡

Here's another trick. HIT THE GYM
The wide lapel are much nicer looking than this thin crap they make these days...

Your shape still is very influenced and determined by your genetics. Not everyone gets to have a V shape.
He has a lovely suit on but the lapels are a little to wide they are overlapping the top pocket.
i dont mind that.
Yeah, but it’s definitely more of a preference thing
That's precisely what is beautiful !

I'm not really a suit guy but his tie is making me so uncomfortable.
mens makeup
Fix ur tie bro
Where I come from if you want to be thinner you eat less.
Here’s the problem with that. Those slanted pockets and really wide lapel both look awful. You might look slimmer, but you’ll look terrible.
Opinion
Do you have a tailor- probably not
تمام
I mean, you could also just go on a diet instead of getting a special chubby suit.
Yeah, Mr UK GQ looks sharp except for his bloody Tie!! Got dat man on UA-cam lookin uh fool! 🤣🤦🏽

here is a pro tip. wanna look thinner? watch what you eat and hit the gym. what a concept.
