I love that you're doing these videos Kirby & Co.. Its how I found your channel and became interested in all things sartorial, and on top of that, its how I discovered the Sahakians and Davidoff of London. I'm already a watch collector and cigar aficionado, so those are icing on the cake.
He gets them for free. The film and edit crew costs a lot for a video like this. He makes the money back in product sales on website. Business has slowed a lot since pandemic ended tho
I have one pair of tennis shoes and one pair of work shoes. Done. But admittedly, I am also one of the cheapest people on the planet who cuts his own hair, line dries his clothes and drives a 15 year old vehicle. Material possessions aren’t even on my radar, just a healthy rainy day fund and retirement account is all I need.!! Not shoes.😂
So glad these skills are still iin the UK but watching those guys cut into those shoes was definately painful to watch. I guess they are someones sandles now.
I have had bespoke shoes made for 45 years and never seen such amateur nonsense, this is all showmanship and crap. A bespoke shoe; given the number of measurements they took, should fit first time. They should be a snug fit accounting for leather stretch and moulding to the shape of your foot over time. This outfit hasn’t got a clue they didn’t even get the foot length or width right first time, unbelievable. The final upper shoe will have linings, puffs, reinforcement toe caps and none of these are in this piece of theatre. Save yourself time and money and get a pair of John Lobb bespoke, they will fit first time and get better over many many years.
Do you work for john lobb. If you go to any other bespoke shoe fitting on any other youtube video they do the same. Me thinks your "bespoke" shoe fitting was at walmart and you confused some drunk guy rubbing your foot for it being measured 😂
Nonsense. Who is your maker? Lobb, Cleverley and Fosters……all the same. This is real bespoke and not from a cheap pattern and then played with. These will take six months or so and will include hand carved lasts. They start at £6000 or so.
You write utter rubbish. I had an appallingly fitted bespoke pair from John Lobb which are still not right despite a remake (they are so arrogant I challenged them to refund my money unless they corrected the fit) and a friend has had the same experience. John Lobb are hugely overpriced too and do not even make a trial pair of shoes to refine the fit. The John Lobb styles are old fashioned. In contrast G & G have beautiful designs with real elegance to them and I have always had care and courtesy shown to me by Tony and Dean. I’m now onto my eighth pair which are all admired whenever I wear them. Is it any wonder that the King now has his shoes made by G & G rather than John Lobb.
It is English, it's an abbreviation that stands for Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response, basically it is a form of relaxation and tingly sensation in various parts of your body (especially head and neck)
Have a day off. The use of acronyms is extremely common on the internet, specifically on UA-cam where video titles need to be concise. A quick search on “ASMR” would highlight there is a community of millions who watch these videos and know exactly what it means. It’s a well known term used across countless UA-cam channels. Berating someone for their use of an acronym isn’t the flex you think it is.

Dude has a bugger blocking his oxigen flow🤣🤣🤣
I think you mean "oxygen".
Top tier ASMR, Kirby.
I remember watching this first time round and being enthralled by the whole process.
Absolutely love these videos Kirby!
I didn’t realise they made new shoes by destroying other new shoes….it seems a bit mental??
Loved the original video, love this edit
Why does one person need hundreds of pairs of shoes?
i dnt get it either. I have like 4 shoes for different occasions 😂😂 and don't replace them unless they're worn out or damaged

Why does one person concern themselves with other people’s behavior that neither picks their pocket nor breaks their leg?
Men have been asking that same question of their wives for decades..
I love that you’ve cut these for ASMR, but after having watched the originals a ton, it’s weird hearing your input get removed
Why did he cut that shoes ?
How many times is this guy going to destroy these shoes?
Unfortunately its part of the bespoke process. They cut the shoes till they get it right then it becomes bespoke. 😂
Still photo is hilarious and i gotta say that dude must really love his job cause he's able to sit comfortably like that since he was just a toddler 😂
hey don't flip me off
I'm really interested how much do these shoes cost bro?
About £6000 or so…..depending on leather. Plus hand carved wooden lasts/trees. Similar prices for all the London bespoke makers.
@@mikewinston8709 god dam!!! 😂 These people have way to much money man!

On John Lobb website, it shows exactly the same process, with cutting the trial shoes.

What is ASMR? People, please speak ENGLISH.

@@davider8038 That's called an ACRONYM. Also known as "jargon." No educated person speaks in "jargon." Say what one means so everyone can understand.
