Hey!!! Can you please share where you stayed? Can you share the place after timestamp 6 22? And bonfire place? We are planning to do same thing but not getting place to stay for cheap.. any idea where we can park and sleep in our car?
That once in the 70s. Never again. The trip is expensive, and working to the schedule is time consuming. Cheaper and easier to go up the 400 onto 69, then hang a left at Sudbury onto 417. At Mactier 417 becomes 17, over to Espanola, then hang a left and go down to the island. The whole Manitoulin chain is beautiful. My favourite is St. Joseph, the western most Canadian island in the chain.
We took the route you mentioned on the way back! But we were on vacation, and we saw Tobermory and the Bruce Peninsula on the same trip, so it made sense to take the boat - it's a very nice boat ride!
I have realatives in Espsnola...wexare retired and taking the Chi-Cheemaun is a breeze....we leave the island at little curent and stop on hwy 6 in espanola for a quick visit then onto 17 to 69 and south to peterborough
The first place you've visited that I've also visited (grew up in Sudbury, Manitoulin is a common day trip). I've never taken the ferry, though. Can't wait to see if you took the ferry back, or drove back to GTA through Espanola.
Excellent! Just got back!🌺👍
Was on the ferry, I loved it. Beautiful.
Glad you did!
Thank you!🇨🇦👍
Love seeing Canada in this way, I've lived here my whole life but you are showing me views I never imagined. Thank you Rania & Kripp
Thank you so much! We didn't realize how cool and diverse landscapes Canada has until we started road tripping with the van, we love it!

Awesome as usual so realxing to watch after a work day
Can't wait for more of this. Like Patrick below, I grew up in the area and have never used the ferry and I'm looking for the home trip
I'm from Sault Ste Marie. I've been to Manitoulin many times, but only took the ferry once.

Oh yes I wouldn't even dream of swimming myself :D
I wonder if Annihilan Battlemaster carried this day out
We were on it 50 years ago! No kidding!🤣
That's so cool! :)
