The one thing I really love about this game is the mystery in this game and how they resolve it at the end of the game. I’m super happy that Shadow is finally peak again!
I found it quite easy honestly, almost all achievements came by just playing the game through with no special requirements. All harder achievements from OG Gens (Online Mode achievements, Green Hill Act 1 in under a minute, Sky Sanctuary Act 1 without falling off the clouds, Chemical Plant Act 2 without touching water) were removed. Only achievements that gave me trouble were the Can't Touch This achievement (defeating the Time Eater without getting hit) and the ones for getting all bolts and chests in the new White Space open-zone, which was only difficult because there was no tracker in-game to seek out the ones you missed, which just caused it to be very time consuming.
@valeriechern Yeah, and bolt counter from Orbot and Cubot, not what I meant. I'll try to be more precise. You can't pinpoint the location of missed collectibles in-game. Take Frontiers for example, ALL special Koco, Emeralds and Tokens are showcased on the map, you can't miss anything. SxS only shows you portals, challenges and discovered but locked chests in the map. If you're missing 3 chests and 2 bolts and haven't discovered them, the map won't show where they are. I spent literal hours going through guides, checking each position one by one to be able to find everything.

Right before fighting Neo Black Doom I was missing 4 bolts and 3 chests, it was so repetitive and time consuming to find them even with a guide. The other most comparable collectathon game that comes to mind, at least being similar to the way of SxS's collecting bolts and chests (aside from Frontiers itself) are the original 4 Spyro console games. Obvious collectibles like eggs and orbs were too in your face to miss, gems could be very well hidden and to guide you the game gave you Sparx, you could tap a button and he would point you at the closest gem to your location. So the location and mystery was still there but at least you got SOMETHING to go off of. SxS could easily have its own Sparx too btw. Idk if you read the Shadow manga but they have a character called Bug-Eye (he's like a smaller and cuter Doom Eye) following Shadow around in White Space. That could sooooooo easily have been our Sparx, missed opportunity.

One thing I've seen all over the internet is about Time Eater's influence in Shadow's Campaign. I don't know why Black Doom has that much power in White Space, but what I can say is, Time Eater has nothing to do with Black Doom's return, Time Eater's interference just made it easier for Black Doom. The first level of the game takes place before Time Eater attacks, Black Doom is just back, he just came back somehow and we have no idea how
This is my first time trying to 100 percent a game too. I’m trying to get the S ranks for all levels first, I’ve already beat both. This is gonna be a long journey
I hate doom surf because I got locked for 2 minuites in a spot because when you run into a wall and jump off doom surf, it goes in the same direction of the wall, so I couldn't turn around. Instant D rank for me on Kingdom Valley act 1.
Hey sonic hub I found something crazy in sonic speed simulater in radical highway on one of the tall buildings there's a portal that can take you to the radical highway on the Shadow generations Event. 😮
Sonic Generations Remastered portion achievement isn't as bad as you think. Aside from taking no damage from the final boss. The Ps3 / Xbox 360 version had more achievement than what we have in this version now, the OG Generations achievement has been cut down in the Remastered version. I still have my Platinum Trophy on the Ps3 version from when I completed it years ago.
Actually, i platinum a lot of Sonic games. 100%'ing them is fun. In fact, even Forces and SCU can be seen in a different, more positive, light when you platinum them. Shadow gens was great to 100%, but Base gens was...SCU is a better game, and Sonic06 is far less buggy.
I certainly hope this does well. Though when comparing the amount of views this video has to your roblox videos, it seems all of that effort is going to waste. Hopefully this somehow skyrockets in views though.

I think you can see the chest counter when you pause the game
