I'm a 39-year old relatively new Tana fan (in order to appear less creepy, im compelled to state im a gay dude and not one of Tana's OF subscribers). Anyhow, I wasnt paying attention to UA-camrs/influencers during Tana's early years so didnt learn about her until about a year ago when the algorithm somehow presented me with a clip of Tana apologizing for her butchered Webby-award nominee presentation the night prior. Immediately I liked her. She seemed to have a strong sense of self which I liked and wore her Y2k sunglasses very well. This led to some clicking around and after getting to know her through some interviews and Cancelled, I had a better idea of her trajectory but have never quite understood why people gave/give her such a hard time because the tana of 2023/24 seemed incredibly self-aware, accountable, and - dare I say - a pretty kind person. This Tana deep dive has been very helpful in letting me understand the Tana lore more completely and understanding the cancellations a bit better. I dont agree with them, but I now know what people were upset about. For those still hanging on to that shit.... i dont get it. Tana's expert-level self awareness is clearly aiding her growth as a person - and anyone who pays attention can witness it in real time. As someone who has had almost a decade to reflect on my twenties, I cant overstate how fucking transformative this decade of your life is. Tana's redemption is happening alongside her journey of coming into herself. Tana will evolve and redeem herself even more over the next four years. It's funny her whole thing is about being Cancelled... because the biggest problem about cancel culture is that it negates the fact that people grow as people. And making mistakes and learning from them is what drives that growth. Tana is such a beautiful example of this. I hope as the years progress she learns to love herself more... she's a complicated girl and i'm rooting for her. Thanks again for these vids which allowed me to understand her better... you've helped me become even creepier! I look forward to coming back to this channel and learning more about all these online people who could be my children had I been a heterosexual teen dad. Bye!

Honestly I wouldnt say Tana is “redeemed” at all…I just think the internet is very wishy washy, fake, and performative. So its more so that no one cares about what she did anymore.
So you think she should still be scrutinized for what she did when she was a teenager? People care about what she did, yet people also realize she was really young, and has come an extremely long way from who she was

brooke lowkey led to tana’s redemption arc, i was still skeptical abt tana but brooke seems to bring out the best in tana and it always shows on the podcast. they compliment each other perfectly
