How trauma affects the mind ?? How it Then affects our body health. Speaking from a 25 yr journey with a -yes- NPD, I'm Blowen away with the effects of the CPSTD on my - used to be- extreme fit/ healthy body . My diet has always been ' whole/ natural/ homemade '. Something that neither " Dr's, nor psychologists EVER recognize . FRUSTRATING !
You, Deanna , nail it on every level ! .. thank you both for ' promoting ' this issue, & our journey of it.
NPD abuse : " the gift that just keeps on giving "

Thank-you or maybe I should say, I feel grateful for both of you coming into my life and showing me the way. I have so much to learn and do. After decades of trying so many things that didn't work How exciting it feels to shed the old skin and start growing a new one. This journey, a thing called life. If you can go that low, think how high you can go. X

Another beautiful podcast. Thanks for being so vulnerable Deanna & Quinn. I love talking about subjects that have been considered taboo. So healing and liberating.

Simply amazing! Wisdom is with you guys. I lost my father and uncle in 2023. Also ended up with organ prolapse due to 3 anular disc tears and pelvic issues. I have flat feet and flat back. I was a Personal trainer 10 years ago and one of my credits in sports medicine is SMR so this automatically I connected with. My pain was bad but the first time I had an actual panick attack it brought on 6 months of upper chest breathing and severe anxiety. Your diaphragmatic breathing program put me back on track. I can say from watching your shows for about a month now I'm anxiety free. Unfortunately my brother is having severe IBS and digestive issues due from anxiety and sympathetic nerves from our loss.I'm working through these issues to address the prolapse and DDD. I went on a raw vegan diet and 2 weeks later and incorporating SMR with a foam roller I feel less pain and more ROM. I'm learning to walk with arches and working on posterior strengthening my back arch. I'm a new person. Literally crippled pain is leaving my body daily even better I'm anxiety free. So many people have chronic anxiety for years. I'm so greatful Yah brought me to your chanel. Now I'm re learning how to become amodextrous and coming back to my roots and passion in sports medicine.

I still find some days, when I'm doing the block(therapy) diaphragmatic breathing/ fascia release, some days , I can't breath into it.. my body panics, has to go into chest breathing, can't relax the breath. - my ex chocked me a lot- ( scars on my eiphougous now ) I never knew why this is still happening afyer 10 yrs of ' healing ' . Explains " sleep apnea " for sure

Our breath is such an amazing tool when we know how to use it. When you feel yourself spiraling into panic, immediately shift to the 4, 7, 8 breath. That's where you inhale for 4 counts, hold for 7 counts, and exhale for 8 counts. Repeat this as many times as you need. If you didn't catch it in time and you are breathing heavily/quickly and can't hold for 7, that's ok...hold for as long as you can, then try to exhale for 8...same thing, if you can't, exhale for as long as you can. Keep going until you can get yourself to the 4, 7, 8 count. You should start to feel yourself come back to a state of calm. I hope this helps.

Quick question. My husband and I are loving the videos on the Starter program. Is there a way to purchase an extra block so we both will have one?

Although it may feel painful in the moment, there is so much benefit once healed.
