- from the 'the game' album, 1980. written by Roger Taylor.
Lyrics:
Ooooooooooo
Oh Oh Oh
I get some headaches when I hit the heights
Like in the morning after crazy nights
Like some mother in law in her nylon tights
They're always
They're always
They're always
They're always
Coming soon
Coming soon on the outside of the tracks
You take 'em
The same old babies with the same old toys
The neighbours screaming when the noise annoys
Somebody naggin' you when you're out with the boys
They're always
They're always
They're always
They're always
Coming soon
Coming soon on the outside of the track
They're always
They're always
They're always
They're always
Coming soon
Coming soon on the outside of the track
Coming soon
Coming soon on the outside of the track
Yeah yeah yeah..
An underrated marvel
Should've been a top 10 hit.
I wish Freddie and Roger did more singing lead together. Their voices blended so well.
*cough* the invisible man *cough*
THE BEST QUEEN SONG FOR ME!
I think Drowse is the Best Queen song ever...but this one is ok
I got this on cassette for Christmas 1980! First queen album!
I got it on 8-track for my 18th birthday in '81. This one of my favorite songs from the album, no, the favorite.
Got the cassette tape at record store at the mall in summer 1981.
First record I ever owned. My grandmother bought this and a Peter Frampton 8-track for me and my brother. I was 9 or 10. My brother took the Frampton (wasn't Comes Alive either lol) and I was left with The Game. Brings back a lot of faded memories of people and places long gone.
This album was one of the first where a major band used loops of their random jam sessions to create new songs. Dragon Attack was made this way. Brilliant!
I love this song so much. Definitely my favourite
Reminds me of nights with my buddies and, if we were lucky, a few girls in a converted storage shed on my friend's grandmother's property smoking crappy homegrown and drinking even worse pilfered alcohol listening to our boys here, maybe some Billy Squier, and Def Leppard. Post Ozzy Sabbath was also a fixture.
Still Rockin' It!
♡♡♡♡ ☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆
cool tune thanks for posting it
This album was current when I first started graduate school. Wasn't sure about some of this album as Queen was changing in new directions. But I've since come around and appreciate it more now.
I love all of it.... I have this on 8-track and album...
this is definitely Queen's best song that nobody's heard of.
I have heard of it, this is my favorite song from The Game, too bad it was never a radio hit
Heard it years ago. Like 1980. Some of us have been paying attention. Since 1973.
@@chicochi3 lol i didn't mean "nobody" literally, it's a figure of speech. I heard this song years ago too and every so often I'll meet a Queen fan who brings it up
oh yeah. I miss those days too.
Queen really rocked out!
Junio 2021....
Am I the only one who thinks the chorus sounds like "Arnold Layne" by Pink Floyd? An early hit for the band from the Syd Barrett era.
Probably yes..the only one is You..nobody else in the world
@@marceloabelenda Okay, why are you being such a dick?
on the outside
🤘👍💪
love quueen all my life love love love
this song always reminds me of 7 th grade
👍👍👍
On the outsiiiddde of the trackkkkksss.
Doctor Brian May on lead guitar!
@tadsharpe people still made those back then
when i had the swine flu in the 70s.. i went through a led zepplin (when it was hits) and queen phase... where the hell is "crazy little thing called love" ain't found it yet but it's probably my error in keywording. :D this album i listened to sooo much along with zepplins "in through the out door" when i was in a fever of 104.. it's a different experience.. i am not sorry for that moment in time. :D
its back from when bands MADE ALBUMS, not singles, not ep's, a LOT of talent and energy went into music and QUEEN outdid a LOT of bands.....
Have you ever heard Fat Bottomed Girls ?
The album cover is so "this is our new look". This song is fantastic though.

Adam Ant's favorite song.
This was an 8 track for me
Day 6316. 2 x 2 x 1579. All my urine til urine til 4.40pm then dried figs and a banana and an orange and a few bites of an apple then more urine then fresh fruit and vegetables and other foods at 8.00pm. No change.
Wow! Forgot about this one...I DO remember the day this album came out, coming home from the record store, about half of the guys on the bus had bought this album and couldn't wait to get home to spin it. I wasn't disappointed. If only it could be like those days again, where a new album release was an EVENT and you'd listen to the WHOLE album with friends, instead of listening to a cr*ppy Ipood thingy. Most kids nowadays have no attention span, no respect, and no talent. Where is the music now?
Song should've been longer, maybe add a instrumental break between the second refrain and the guitar solo.
I always thought Roger was an important influence in the band!
@LOVEMYFREDDIE Good for yoou...
@lashlashlashlashlash
lol
im sorry but no song Queen wrote was crap..
I agree. But that being said, I like a lot of their deeper cuts way more than their radio hits.

Yeah yeah yeah..
Sounds like E.L.O.
Queen sure made a lot of crap in the 1980-85 period. I think only a queen fan can really enjoy this. I know I can.
At least they still look good rockin'.
The alternative version is better than this one
