Every time I hear him or of him leads me to think about everything that he could he should, would and could be WOWUNG the world with. I think he might have moved on to The Performing Arts, after he said everything he had to say.
songs should be on the list: -These Are The Days Of Our Lives -Scandal -Good Old Fashion Loverboy -My Life Has Been Saved -A Kind Of Magic -Friends Will Be Friends -Mother Love -Hammer To Fall
Of course not, queen made some shits on 80's like body language, las palabras de amor, pain is so close to pleasure, for instance the entire hot space is a pure shit (exception for under pressure). Queen is far, very far for being perfect
Honestly, my most favorite Queen songs were ones that weren't "hits", but who doesn't love the ones that were? There's a reason why this band remains so iconic and timeless.
Deaky is soo under rated. He and Roger carried the band rhythmically and he is not appreciated enough for his music or his talent. The Show Must Go On is the best song and I thing Freddie was his absolute best on this despite his health. This and Who Wants To Live Forever always make me cry 😢
Queen was, like, bad in the 80s though... Live Aid was great, but it basically saved their dying reputation (that and their crossover with Bowie on Under Pressure)
I saw them 3 times with and 3 times without Freddie. To see him perform live is beyond description. I never got to see Roger Deacon play though. Did he play two instruments at the same time?
@@godfather53 you've never heard of Newcastle 12/4, Long Beach '77, Inglewood '77, Oakland 1980, etc., did you? Montreal is a piece of shit compared to them (well, maybe not that extreme but you get it)
Queen is a band that defines Classic Rock, so many songs have been licensed and utilized for TV Shows, Movies, even Commercials, they really created a timeless sound that transcended generations.
Kudos for including "The March of the Black Queen". It is far and away their best track from their early days, and it deserves recognition. Other songs I would like to have seen include these deep cuts: "Liar" (Queen) -- A hard-driving progressive track over six minutes long, in which the protagonist seeks forgiveness for an undisclosed lie. "Good Company" (A Night at the Opera) -- A quirky little track written and sung by Brian May, it features a Dixieland band closing completely produced from Brian's own Red Special guitar. "It's Late" (News of the World) -- Another Brian May masterpiece, it's the tale of a relationship in three "acts". A true sonic powerhouse. "Dragon Attack" (The Game) -- Forget "Another One Bites the Dust". This funky number has (in this writer's opinion) a better bass line, with a solo! John Deacon shines here. "Innuendo" (Innuendo) -- Queen returns to their progressive roots with the opening track on their final album together. Complete with a Spanish guitar solo by Steve Howe of Yes, this 6½-minutes magnum opus is a phenomenal listen. "These Are the Days of Our Lives" (Innuendo) -- "The Show Must Go On" was the power ballad which defined Freddie Mercury's final days, but this song was a love letter to his fans. The music video was the last to feature original footage of Freddie while he was alive, making this tender ballad even more poignant. "Let Me Live" (Made in Heaven) -- This rousing gospel-inspired track was the first - and only - time Freddie Mercury, Brian May, and Roger Taylor each sang a verse. It flows very easily from one part to the next, and it is my favorite from this album, released four years after Freddie's death. "Mother Love" (Made In Heaven) -- This song should be included for one reason only: It was the final song recorded by Freddie Mercury. In fact, Freddie's condition had worsened so much by this point, he could not sing the final verse; it was sung by Brian May instead. There you go. Sorry to have bored you, but those are my picks.
I kinda had the feeling that Bohemian Rhapsody would be atop the list, but I would've hoped that songs like These Are The Days Of Our Lives, One VIsion, Breakthru, Headlong, and Innuendo would make the cut. If it was top 25, maybe a few of these would make the cut.

Bohemian Rhapsody could make a strong case for best rock song of all time. So naturally the #1 slot on this list is well deserved. But what about subbing Love of My Life? IMO should have been in the top 5.
Roger Deacon was such an underrated bassist. He's always overshadowed by his brother John Deacon of The Who. He is constantly left off of best bassists lists, but his selfish brother is always put on there.

JOJOS?
Amazing list! Love all of these! Fun to play!
We Are The Champions is forever THE BEST ONE!!!!
When it was played on the radio back in the '70s it was We Will Rock You, We are the Champions played back to back always. Those of us growing up at that time really consider it one song.
Top 5 for sure. I think bohemian
Rhapsody is the best
Nah it's we will rock you
Breakthru is my all time hype build song, the riff is so catchy that ur head just can't not bounce along to it.
Woah Breakthru is my fav song of theirs. Nice to see someone gives it the praise it deserves lol. The little Deaky bass riff near the end is so good.
I agree Breakthru is massively underrated and is easily in my top 5 of best Queen songs
Very difficult to rank their songs. Me personally, I would have loved to se Scandal, White Queen, Love of my life, These are the days of our lives and many more on that list..

You missed "Innuendo", "Love of My Life", and "Hammer to Fall"; they would've been better entries than "Tie Your Mother Down", "Bicycle", and "Fat Bottomed Girls".
Love of my life is my favorite Queen song besides Bohemian Rhapsody how could they possibly miss that omg 🙄
Yup! also "Too much love will kill you" is one of their best and underrated.
The live show where the crowd sings with him almost perfectly, makes me get all misty eyed every time.
God, Love of my life isn’t on here? Fml
The Show Must Go On should've been #2, only reason it's not #1 is because how much of an impact Bohemian Rhapsody made
I personally believe Bohemian rhapsody is overrated now, yes it made a massive impact and still does, but you'll always find it rated number 1 while innuendo took what bohemian Rhapsody did and amplified it hardly ever gets mentions now
Roger Deacon? Freddie’s lyricism on a song written by Brian?
for me:
10. don't stop me now
9. under pressure
8. fat bottomed girls
7. who wants to live forever
6. these are the days of our lives
5. no one but you
4. the march of the black queen
3. bohemian rhapsody
2. innuendo
1. the show must go on
They were one of the best bands ever
Not one of them it was the best band
@@posidens_lane1151 not top 5
@@meditationmayham3590 is there any band who is more known than queen ?only the Beatles can rival them in terms of popularity and hits ,if you ask teens nowadays if they know any songs of Pink Floyd, led zeppelin and The Rolling Stones the barely know 1 ,it’s sad ,but that’s how it is
@@tomate454 people are aware of Queen nowadays because they have stadium anthems and overall simple songs to see a long to. Trust me I was that teen who thought Queen was the greatest thing since sliced bread. Until I found out they are literally barely a "Rock Band" I mean casual rap listeners would assume snoop dogg to be better than nas and that's just not true.
@@meditationmayham3590 well ,if you think stone cold crazy ,gimme the prize ,princes of the universe keep your self alive ,the show must go on are simple rock songs ,you are mistaken, they were ahead of their time ,barely any rock vocalist comes close to Freddie Mercury and ,each of them wrote number one hits ,you can say whatever you want but queen cemented itself as one of the greatest Rockbands of all time and is nowadays the most popular band from the 70/80s
I saw what was left of Queen in about 2010, listening to Brian May play live is out of this world, just wish I'd got to see them when Freddie was still alive, a fantastic showman taken way too soon.
I just caught "Roger Deacon". No we don't talk about him enough.

*What’s your favorite Queen song?*
Queen fan: YES
Somebody To Love
Queen is like Pink Floyd one of the greatest bands of all time
Yeah but not as good
No, queen is better.
The beatles are the best.
@@Retro471 with due respect. Yes they are best. But queen are the greatest
With all due respect queen we’re the greatest, but Beatles were superior sorry it’s just very true 😁
I think “Let Me Live” should have been on the list. It is such a good song but it is so underrated!!! ☹️
The Made in heaven album is underrated in general
I clicked faster than Roger could say Galileo
Which Roger? Taylor or Deacon? Lmao 🤣
Sees title
*clicks faster than a humming bird flaps it's wings*
Innuendo is the last studio album with all of them...
Ever heard of Made in Heaven?
Maby Freddie wasn't there afterward, he still sang.
Just having March of the Black Queen on the list makes me happy.
Bohemian Rhapsody will always be an iconic Queen song that they have ever sang.
“roger deacon” 💀
Truly, there are too many great one to a mere rank 20. Great King Rat, Seaside Rendezvous, Misfire, My Fairy King, Ogre Battle, Back Chat, Cool Cat, Death On Two Legs, Good Old Fashioned Lover Boy, Pain Is So Close To Pleasure, Innuendo... just too many.
Everybody knows I'm in love with my car is the true number 1. So many great songs were left out ('39, Innuendo, Bijou, Headlong, These are the Days of Our Lives etc.)

but since Freddie’s death the world got worse hopefully we’ll get a person just as good as Freddie but not as good
The fact that "Flash" and "You Are my Best Friend" are not on this list, is quite annoying...
And I Want to Break Free
"Flash" scarred me for life at age 6 when my dad made me watch that movie on VHS. XD
The song was far too intense for a child.

Salute to Bryan May going to the future to make the Bohemian Rhapsody movie.
Honestly this is underrated. Then you get the number one comment on the video being some overused and copied comment lol
Hahah.
I LOVE Queen. So iconic. Such good artists. My favorites of their songs are Break Free, Under Pressure, Bohemian Rhapsody and Somebody To Love
Anyone else think Brian's hair in crazy little thing called love is awesome, shorter, and the shades make him look amazing
Great list. But where is too much love will kill you??
I’m so glad that March of the black queen got a place on this list, it’s so underrated 👍🏼
The entire B side of the 'Queen II' album is absolutely sublime!
Hey watchmojo, since you did a Top 20 queens songs list, any chance we can get another top 20 songs list by other artists, like Michael Jackson, Janet Jackson, Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, Luther Vandross, Celine Dion, Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, Barbra Streisand please
don't stop me now my favorite ❤️
Bohemian Rhapsody could make a strong case for best rock song of all time. So naturally the #1 slot on this list is well deserved. But what about subbing Love of My Life? IMO should have been in the top 5.
Roger Deacon was such an underrated bassist. He's always overshadowed by his brother John Deacon of The Who. He is constantly left off of best bassists lists, but his selfish brother is always put on there.
Haha I thought I was the only one who heard that lol!😂
#10 HELL YEAH! SO excited you guys included this tune that almost no one knows! Super rad!
