Queen - Chinese Torture

From the 'The Miracle' album from 1989. written by Queen.
the song has no lyrics. it is a very dark instrumental which conveys the horror and fear that Chinese Water Torture was known to evoke in victims. In recent years it has been worked into May's guitar solos, like you can see in the Queen + PR tours.

This was the first queen album where the songs were written by the band not individually, maybe that’s why all there heads are joined on the cover.

This song comes from Brian's last solos from the Magic Tour. Every August gig has him playing this general motif with variations each night. He has played it now and then over the years, although it's quite rare. Technically, this and I Want It All are the only tracks from The Miracle to be performed live by the band.
