Nice vlog - thanks for sharing your numbers. Some advice regarding mobile phone service: Unless you are streaming & uploading HD, or higher quality, video, 24/7, on your phone, you probably do not need unlimited data - esp. if you also have Wi-Fi service where you are living. It should go without saying, but, always connect via Wi-Fi, when at home, or when a public hotspot is available - do not use your 5G (or 4G) connection, when it is not absolutely necessary to do so. Your phone - iPhone or Android - should have a feature that tracks data usage, so use this feature to determine your actual usage, each month. Then, just purchase a monthly, or weekly, pre-paid plan which is sufficient to meet your likely data need. The high-priced plan you mentioned probably included unlimited voice & text, as well. This is generally not useful in Thailand, since many/most Thais use the Line app and do not have voice/text service enabled on their phones. If you do need voice & text, for some reason, then, again, purchase only what you are likely to need and avoid the unlimited plans. Note: This advice also applies in the US. Safe travels!
It's best to ask an attorney in that country so you are getting the correct information. The laws regarding Real Estate are different in all counties. Thanks for the great question.
I only order maybe 1 small beer every two days. I just don't like to drink. Depending on the restaurants, Beer can really increase the budget. Thanks so much for the comment.

This is great information and i really appreciate it. I definitely did not know any of this. Thank you so much
@@whereisgregnow5989You are welcome - I hope it helps! Only fair, too, since your info helps me with my own budget planning. :)
Thank you, Greg! I'm usually in Bangkok or Pattaya, but I will swing through Hua Hin in March for a few days for a look. Thank you for great content
Thank you so much. I'm sure you will like Hua Hin
Thank you sir. Wish you put Thai baht conversion under as well.
I will do that on the next video. Thanks for bringing that to my attention
Great video
Thanks so much for watching
What can happen bad if you break one of those 12 month leases?
It's best to ask an attorney in that country so you are getting the correct information. The laws regarding Real Estate are different in all counties. Thanks for the great question.
Good info
Thanks so much for watching
Thanks Greg, did i miss the total spend amount?
Yes 🙂
@dew4040 my bad!
@@jdsalinger147 Hey it looks like we share the same interest. Have a great day!
@@dew4040 thanks bud, you as well 👍
Hi it was just under $1500. Thanks so much for watching.
Considering you're not in the apartment that much; that is a huge water bill................gotta leak or someone tapped into your feed?..!
I do take really long showers. Thanks for the comment
Are you going back to the Philippines ?
I'm sure I will. I like the Philippines a lot but I also really like Thailand. How are things going there?
@@whereisgregnow5989 I really don't like living here but the Philippine govt. and many people, just seem so corrupt.
Did I miss your entertainment budget or don’t you have one
Hi my entertainment is included in the miscellaneous. Next time I will separate it. . Thanks for bringing that to my attention
Hi

I have AIS for 500 thb per month.
Are you serious? I did need to get unlimited data
@@whereisgregnow5989 The actual price is something like 475, but with tax I think it's 525.
AIS for typical user about 200 baht month.
Be nice in local currency not USD
Thanks so much for bringing that to my attention. I will start including a few conversions.
WERE WAS THE PLACE YOU WAS HAVING THAT MEAT PLEASE
The Big Bull. Fantastic Food and service, Thanks for watching
No beer in this budget? Good for my health but not me!

@ budget yeah. It’s more of a waistline problem for me :-)
I'm not a fan of Hua Hin. The city is poorly planned and there are way too many white, European tourists there. Chiang Mai is much better, imho. 👍
I love Chiang Mai also. I appreciate your feedback and I have noticed a lot of tourists here.
Chaing mai is nice but it lacks the beach and burning season can be an issue.
Hi Greg, are you dating there, how is it?
Hi there, Dating is 100 percent better than in the US, but I haven't been dating really.
