What part of Cebu is this located in?
Beautiful money Tree
Thank you so much
Wow, Sarah is lovely, and if I was there, I would buy her cookies. Does she have a store in the mall?
Sarah currently just sells online. Thanks so much for the comment and when in Cebu her cookies are really great.
Greg , if there is a power outage, does the generator operate the air conditioners?
I think they prioritize the lights and elevators. But honestly i'm not really sure. I really did not need to use the air much. Usually a pretty nice ocean breeze on the upper floors.
Answers home the Philippines Pilipino people ever seen you too appreciated goodness for all Amen thanks very rich muth
Thanks for watching
Pilipino don't really know how to design homes or apartments. Check out the kitchen.
Booking my 4th holiday there soon, love that country.
Great choice, it's so affordable! Thanks for watching
I'm renting a 2 bedroom house in a secure subdivision in Lapu-lapu for less than $300. I do pay electric bill, water bill, hoa dues for Great armed security.
That sounds like a fantastic price. Lapu Lapu is a great place.
@whereisgregnow5989 OH, it is with dirty at back of house, laundry lines set up on side of house plus laundry line dirty kitchen, which is fully enclosed as wide as the house. It's a jewal and I'm very happy here.
Where do you sleep??
It has a fold out sofa bed. Thanks for the comment
Great video👍
Glad you enjoyed
What's the price in pesos iidddiiooot
The conversion is currently at 58 pesos to the dollar. Thanks for the great question
Nice place. If you are single/have a girl friend, it's ok for $300. Can't even touch anything like that in the USA for that price.
Yes exactly, It's a great alternative. Thanks for the comment
Cocktail roach motel
Where in cebu are you?
This is in the Marigondon area of Cebu, Not too far from the mall and a few restaurants
This is on the island of Mactan part of Cebu next to Lapu Lapu and the Cebu City metropolitan area.
shoe box.
How much in peso as im Australian
Hi Steven, Approximately 17400 pesos. Thanks for watching
Those units are unbelievably small. Condos in Cambodia are 5x as big (living room, kitchen, bathroom with a tub, and a stand alone bedroom) fully furnished for the same money.
I'm looking forward to seeing Cambodia. The Real Estate prices there are a great bargain.
@@whereisgregnow5989 what other things there make it worth 300? I've seen alot better for that kinda money,
Have fun be safe. How much is laundry and breakfast?
Thanks saltlife, Laundry runs roughly 5 dollars and my breakfast with coffee was about 4 dollars.
@@whereisgregnow5989 not bad... Thank you! 👍
Does it have a bedroom?
It looks like a 20 sqm studio with a sofa bed.
Hi Joseph, Theres no bedroom. Just a studio with a fold out bed. I have seen one bedrooms at a similar price.
I wish I had a travelers mindset but I never took vacation when I was young, I took vacation from my job but it was always to do work at home and on the farm. Now I’m retired and don’t farm anymore but I just can’t bring myself to travel unless I really have to
Yeah it looks cool on video.
I have loved traveling since I was probably 18 years old. Even just driving to the coast in California. I think you would love it. Thanks for the comment
@ I traveled once back in 1999 12 drive to visit a long lost cousin once I got there after about an hour I was ready to leave 🤣🤣 not because we had nothings to say it was because I felt I spent enough time there
I'm your polar opposite, I've been to more than 70 countries around the world and almost every state in America mostly for work but since I have great benefits from that travel, we go on some pretty exotic vacations around the world for pennies on the dollar. I'll retire next year and that travel is what I'll miss the most.
@@Tsavo12 Where do you work I need to get that job 😁
Great video, in California for 300$/month you’d be lucky to have a dishwasher box 🤣🤣🤣
Exactly. It's about at least five times more expensive on the housing I think. Thanks Shrek
Where's the bed?
It`s a Sofa Bed😄
It's the sofa bed. Thanks for the comment
Question: When people buy a condo and then, over time, someone decides the building needs to be torn down, how is the condo owner or is the condo owner compensated in any way?
Great question, If you buy a home that becomes old and beyond repair is there any compensation? Tom that's a great question
Nice place. What's the minimum contract? Was the pool for your condo? How big is it?
Thanks for the positive feedback. The minimum contracts vary. Yes the pool usage is included. I think the studio is 22 sq meters. A small studio.
Lived there last year... 1 month..small and the pool has no outdoor chairs or anything for lounging
Hi Driftwood, Yes no outdoor lounges or chairs. Not sure why.
Like your yideo and the fresh air. So what is the name and where is it located?
Saekyung in Cebu Philippines. Thanks for watching
Is this in a condo building?
Yes its a Condo, Thanks for the comment
Back in Cebu! Good to see you back!
What's the name of the condo complex? Do you pay extra for electricity and water? Month to month or yearly contract? Thanks!
Yes back in Cebu, Good to see you also. Hope all is going well
Saekyung. Electric and water are not included. Electric runs about 40 US per month and water maybe 10 depending on usage
Great video
Thank you so much

I guess you get mellons with that, what a juicy dish indeed 😮
Yes it was so good indeed.
very amazing kbang api,,Hopefully 2025 will be better than last year🎉🎉🎉
Yes Happy New Year to You.
Great video
Thank you so much
How far is it to the beach
It was really close. Many restaurants and the beach are minutes away
Send me a proper summary
Yes Boss, Probably best that you do your own research as we all have different lifestyles.
@@whereisgregnow5989 alright 👍
I wished that you're showing the beach in Cebu instead of Boracay. LOL. BTW, do you have to be vaccinated to live there? Also, which bank is the best for Americans? Citi, BOA, CHASE? Thanks in advance.
Vaccinated for? Probably best to compare interest rates, International fees etc when choosing a bank. Have you actually been to the Philippines?
@@whereisgregnow5989 LOL. Yes! I was born in Aklan. Lived in the US since 1985. After 30 years, I went back to The Philippines & lived in Boracay for a year in 2015. Now living in Miami Beach. Thinking about buying a beachfront condo in Cebu. Boracay was too small & it didn't fit our lifestyle. No real gym, grocery stores or hospital just to name a few. I know its changed since then. When I was living in Boracay, I still had Wells Fargo & I was being charged in so much fees & had a limit of what I could withdraw. That's why I was asking if there's a Citibank or BOA there in Cebu. Not asking about Philippine banks. The last time I was there was in 2019 just before covid & everyone who I know who travels there from the U.S. are all vaccinated. They said it was mandatory?
I know they required the vaccination previously but I think they no longer require it. You do have to sign up for the E Visa prior to traveling to the Philippines. I didn't see any US banks in Cebu. If you are coming from The US I would just check with your local bank to make sure they don't charge international transaction fees. Also there are quite a few credit cards that don't charge the international transaction fees. If you are using a credit card and the cashier asks US or local currency. Best usually to go with the local currency so you don't get hit with the conversion fee.
@@whereisgregnow5989 - Thank you for the reply. FYI - Naturalized US citizens who were born in the Philippines can travel to the Philippines visa-free. This is known as the Balikbayan Visa-Free Privilege. I traveled there in 2014, 2015 & 2019 and didn't need one including my husband because I was born there.
Great Video 👍
Thanks so much for watching
Thank you so much for showing the surroundings. I was wondering if the condo that you're living at is pet friendly? I'm looking into buying a beachfront condo. Ive seen about 7 different ones(some are not built yet) that I'm interested in. None of them mentioned about pets. I have a little dog & cat that I'll be bringing with us.
The Condo In This Video At Mactan Newtown Did Accept Pets. Each Place Is Different And Some May Require Additional Deposits For A Pet. Thanks For The Comment
What apartment is that?
This Was Located At Mactan Newtown In Cebu
It's a nice place BUT to move to the Philippines to live in a shoebox at rents just somewhat less than America, really doesn't make much sense. Unless for maybe 2 months or a short vacation.
Gregory I'm not sure what part of the US you are in? In the Philippines that $555 rent in California would be closer to 2k. The expenses go on. For me Living the same lifestyle 2k in the Philippines about 6 to 7k in California. The home is not going to be as large as what you are use to I guess. A lot of people watching these you tube videos are one step above being homeless in the US
Food looks delicious ,beautiful place
Thanks for watching
That Japanese restaurant is not good at all. I just ate a salad there. Nephew got sick. I will not buy a mega world condo, market is way overpriced. Yeah the stuff around it makes good sense but everything feels claustrophobic to me.
Diego, If you think the condo market is overpriced ? If everything feels Claustrophobic. In order to get a large condo, its really going to feel overpriced. It's hard to get away from the claustrophobic feeling in a condo if you are use to a large home.
@ We made the decision this weekend that building on our land is the better choice for us. Glad we went around to see the condo properties, it’s different in person than in a video. Not ruling out a future purchase just for income generation. Enjoying your videos keep it up.
Diego congratulations on the new home build.
I’m from California and have a house in the Philippines. Looking at your videos for a new condo in Cebu.
Diego good luck on your search
