Less than 30€ with ear detection, ldac and good ANC, that's insane. Definitely going to order them, the sound tests and ANC tests are super helpful. Thanks for this excellent review!
It's nice to see such an in depth review of a lesser known brand, I was looking at these, but struggling to find any decent info. Absolutely insane what they are packing for £26, they have no right to be as accomplished as they are at that price! QYC have gained another sale and you've gained yourself another subscriber, great job mate!
Thank you! Yeah I would say that's probably my 'niche' covering these lower cost and lesser known products with more objective elements. Thanks for following, great to see fellow earbud enthusiasts from the UK, most of my subscribers tend to be from the US or India!
I got these for $32 from Aliexpress yesterday and I'm blown away by how much you get for so little. The sound on everything from solo piano to synth is fantastic. The ONLY compromise is wireless charging, and for $32 and long battery life I can easily live with USB charging. Amazing.
@ALIRAZA-fs1vr I been seeing reviews that the buds or the app doesn't keep the EQ settings, after disconnecting or pairing with another device. What u think?
I believe QCY just issued a firmware update to fix the EQ problems. Thank you for the review i just got done watching you're 7 earbuds under a 100$ and I'm impressed. Greetings from across the pond. 💯👍🇺🇸
I have two models, Melobuds Pro and HT05. When I tried on two models alternately, I didn’t feel much difference in sound quality. Looking at your video, there seems to be a sound quality difference. I also think the In-ear detection sensor of Melobuds Pro seems to be excessively sensitive, So I turned it off from the app. Still, I use Melobuds Pro more often than HT05 these days because of its design, noise cancellation, and multipoint frature. Anyway, I enjoyed your sincere review!
Thank you! I think that's pretty much spot on. Not sure there's a difference in sound quality, just a slight difference in the tonality due to the change in tuning. Both sound great, it just comes down to personal preference. I know a lot of people were EQ'ing the HT05 using the presets I included in my original review to make them more v-shaped (essentially to sound like how the Melobuds Pro are tuned) so maybe that's the reason for QCY adjusting the sound signature a little. Thanks for the feedback! Appreciate the comment and kind words 👍
The video uses a dual binaural microphone on gras-style simulated ears setup - it's as close to reality as you can reasonably expect and reflects my real life experience with both models (Melobuds Pro is much stronger)
Make sure you refresh a few times to make sure you got the lowest price. At one point it was a few euros more expensive for no reason, but the old price returned after refreshing the page.
Thanks for another great review and comparison! I think they are a no-brainer at this price, the only thing I didn't like about the ht05 is the box and the design, this looks much nicer
I saw some comments saying that after using it for a period of time, one side did not work . I also encountered this problem, hope qcy can quickly restore these.
That's probably the most common fault with every wireless earbud - hasn't happened with any of my QCY, but has happened with other brands and I see it all the time on different subreddits. Hopefully they will get it sorted for you 👍
I got these today. For me they rival one plus buds 3, not quite as polished but for nearly one third of the price they’re a very good deal. LDAC and the Pop preset make them sounds great 👍
Thanks for review and comparison with the HT05 hit. Honestly, the new design is a matter of taste; in my opinion, the previous version looked better. While the black version still looks decent, the white one is awful with that glossy base. But the price tag is pleasant, as always. For this money, there are no competitors in terms of features.
Yeah design is subjective for sure. I just found the original a little bulky and the case always pinches my finger when I shut it 😭 agree it's as good as it gets at this price!
Hi Regan. Great video. Do these have that feature where, when you start talking, they immediately drop into transparency mode and pause music? Like Sony's Speak-To-Chat? Cool feature that one. Suspect not at this price point. Watched a ton of reviews on these and yours was the one that pushed me over the edge; especially as I got them sub-£30. For that sort of money, you can't go wrong. Thanks!
Thanks! No they don't have that feature unfortunately 😕 I've been testing the Airpod 4 ANC the last couple of weeks and they have it too - very convenient! I'll be doing a comparison in the next couple of weeks on all the semi in ear ANC models - it's pretty cool how much you get with the HT10 for the money (still a long way from the Airpod 4 ANC, but definitely not £150 worse!)
Thanks for review I was asking between the earfun air pro 4 and the soundpeats air 4 pro earlier but I decided I'll just get this one as I'm won't be benefiting on there codecs and the value it offers for the price is amazing. Btw I found ailybuds mic slightly better but for overall the melobus pro was amazing
I couldn't remember if I replied or not - I get a load of messages and sometimes get sidetracked so apologies if I didn't press send (I definitely started replying as I do remember it!) Good choice. Both are decent but the MBP gives you more for less. Let me know when you get them, I'll share my EQ preset (can't remember if I included it in the review or not!)
In your test, the Melobuds pro's ANC sounds almost flawless, but you put it behind even the realme air buds 6 pro. Watching your video of Best ANC TWS earbuds under $100, I felt that the melobuds would be 1 shelf below the 4NC, I have the melobuds pro and its ANC is surprising, don't you think you put it in the wrong ranking position?
You make a very good point, and I agree with you, they sound stronger on the recording than their position. I have to balance personal experience and the binaural test, which uses simulated ears that aren't exactly the same shape as mine, and make a judgement between the two. In real life, the Melobuds Pro suffer the same fate as the Apple Airpod Pro. Due to their shape, if you have a slightly deeper ear canal then you'll lose a bit of ANC potency, and this is precisely what happens to me with both of them. If you push the Melobuds Pro (and the Realme for that matter) deeper into your ears, you can hear the ANC is effecting, but their shape and tips prevent you from getting the most out of it. I watched a video from Aaron is Loud yesterday and he said basically the same thing with the APP2, and I definitely agree with him. It's why I mentioned in the video that you might be able to get even better performance (similar to that on the binaural tests) with flatter eartips. In that league table, there are very small differences between all of them. The Soundpeats which are just above it, for example, are better at low frequency noise reduction, but the QCY are better in the midrange, and many people will see that as better. So a very subjective list, and difficult to really put in a league table given all those constraints and complications!
Thanks for your reply, I guess the problem is the difference between pounds and euro. 26 pounds should be around 32/33 Euro, so I guess it's sort of a better deal in UK worsened by a bad exchange rate. But that's fine after all!
The buds design just look like Elevoc Clear if anyone can recognise. The call quality is good though, it has came long way since QCY T5 which I found the mic call quality is good amongst other QCY model even though it doesn't have ENC but your voice standout from your background.
They are comfier than the Elevoc Clear. There is some ENC - definitely not as strong as the Elevoc but like you said your voice stands out that's the most important. Thanks for the comment! 🙌
I'll try, but Soundcore do not send me their products unfortunately I have to buy them.... already bought Apple Airpod 4 ANC and Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 this month so might be a while 😭
Wow these are tempting me for the price, if they fix the custom eq i buy them! I have an unusual question: In your opinion, wich are the best in-ear tws under $100 for transparency mode? (natural sound and no occlusion effect)
Ooh difficult to say....I quite like Soundpeats Air4 Pro - that's quite natural and works good for conversations. I will do a proper transparency test soon because I'm sure there is probably better, I just can't think off the top of my head 😭
Thanks for the professional review. I have ht07, and like you, I find ANC successful. So, if we compare it with Melobuds Pro ANC, which one is better? Is it worth switching from HT07 to Melobuds Pro for ANC?
Given how cheap these are and the multiple improvements - better codec, in-ear detection, better case, better ANC, deeper audio driver - I think it's worth the upgrade. This is much more than a cosmetic improvement.
Absolutely, I usually add them when I have a little time, you'll see the CC symbol next to the ones I've done, it just takes a lot of time so I make sure the videos are done first then upload later. I noticed more and more views from different locations now so for sure I'll add for this one 👍
Another great detailed review, but are these louder than the originals? That was my only complaint with the original ht05s, along with the cheap case, and thicker stems which they seemed to have improved on.
Thanks! They are still a little quiet, but the ANC is better so you don't have to crank the volume up quite so high. I have them around 70%, but I'm very sensitive to loudness so you might find you have to use them a bit higher
LDAC and multipoint are pretty straightforward to include now, because even the cheaper chipset manufacturers have low cost SOCs that support it (BES, wuqi, etc)
Excellent review Regan! I have used both ht05 and ht07 and found both of these to be value for money. The adaptive ANC seems better than the regular one from ht05.
Hey man, how's the sound difference between the HT05 and the Melobuds Pro??? I heard the Pro's sound and bass is worse than the HT05? But can I tune the EQ on the Melobuds Pro to get great bass, and stull have good sound???
Thank you for your reviews! A question - in the same price, which pair is better (mostly in the terms of sound quality and anc) - the melobuds pro or the 1more q30 pro?
Thanks for watching! Tough question that one - they are pretty close IMO. The Q30 sounds more like the old HT05 - warmer and bassier. The ANC is probably a touch stronger on the Q30, but overall I prefer the Melobuds Pro. The ergonomics are much better, they're more comfortable and you've got more control through the app. But like I said, I don't think there's a huge amount in it - both are very good options at the price 👍
It can feel a bit constrained with some styles but with my EQ settings the staging sounds better. And yeah, the tonal balance is a little brighter for sure
Hi, thanks for your work. Today the price difference between HT05 and the new MeloBuds Pro is 8 USD. Which of the two would you choose? And if it's not too much to abuse your time. 1More Q30 is about 1.5 USD cheaper than MeloBuds, is it worth it?
Thanks! I guess it's up to you really, if you value the improved ANC, multipoint and better design as worthy of the $8 upgrade cost. I liked the HT05, and actually preferred the out of the box tuning, but as a value proposition I think MBP is too good to say no to. It's better than the Q30, which sound good but unfortunately didn't fit great and had a few small annoying bugs from long term usage
@ReganCipher bro, I watched your QCY HT10 PRO PLUS review video, now after watching Melobuds Pro I'm bit confused which one to choose.. Can you please suggest me which one will be better for sound quality, comfort & everyday use ?
Ailybuds Pro is only really if you don't like the feel of silicone tips. Both HT05 and Melobuds Pro sound good. HT05 is warmer and thicker, with smoother vocals. Melobuds Pro is better for energetic music, bass is punchier and treble is sharper. Melobuds Pro has better ANC and more features
Hey man, I've been debating whether to get these or the Ailybuds Pro+, does the silicone feel very deep when worn? I don't mind how silicone tips feel but i hate when you can hear the sounds of your insides when you wear in-ear if that makes sense, and I'm worried if the Ailybuds would fit my ears, which one would you recommend?
No it's quite a shallow fit. There is a very small amount of occlusion, as is always the case with in-ear, but it's very minor. The Melobuds Pro are the better value proposition, but I guess it comes down to how sensitive you are to the fit with silicone tips
Hi, please help me. This arrived today and even if both of them are connected to Bluetooth, only one produces sound. Whenever I remove the other and put it back again, the sound will be cut off from the other one instead.
Try deleting pairing record from your phone, reset the earbuds then repair. You reset by holding the button down on the bottom of the case for long enough that the led flashes multiple times (longer than normal pairing). If it doesn't work, try QCY support- I'm just a review I'm afraid
They are fenomenal I so like him after tuning EQ they make more incredible I believe they use so quality speaker I get mine for 27£ from Ali with white case and cleaning pen shocked me how good are think now to return my Earfun Air Pro 4 and Soundcore Liberty 4 NC because with him have best sound and price value ANC same is great is not powerful like in new Earfuns and Liberty 4NC only is incredible what QCY do with this buds for so small price same for big headphones I shocked from Haylou S30 killing my Soundcore Q45 on sound and comfort just him Apps not so good only who cares apps much is important music and we to enjoy and definitely this 2 is best deals Melobuds Pro and Haylou S30 are incredible products. Thanks for letting us know about him and your reviews is best show all we need 🎵 🎧
Funny thing is, just a few days ago, I ordered the EarFun Air Pro 4 because I snagged them at 30% off for $62.99. But as soon as I saw the discounted price of the QCY Melobuds Pro on AliExpress, I quickly contacted them to cancel my order. Do you think I made the right call? How do the EarFun Air Pro 4 compare to the Melobuds Pro in terms of sound quality?
They do sound better than the W1. The trebles aren't as detailed but it's a more balanced sound overall. With my EQ (see the description) you can get the QCY sounding really good
Thank you for this amazing review. I have bought these and loving them so far (I hope they release the firmware update because other than Picky audio noone has received it yet). I have a question; What eartip replacements you think would be best for them because the earbuds are falling from my ear. Some eartips I've tried with it doesn't fit in the case so probably an airpods pro-style of eartip? Would love to hear other's insight
Thank you! You need a flatter eartip with the HT08, something like the ones that come with the Soundpeats Air4 Pro. I have a few third party tips, I'll try them with the Melobuds Pro and let you know, but if you measure the height of the stock eartips and go for something a bit grippier, that should do the trick
No problem! Have you tried using each style before? (i.e. semi in ear and in-ear) Generally people tend to like one or the other. Melobuds Pro have silicone tips so they'll stay in your ears better. You'll probably be able to use them for sleep, but personally I use a Bluetooth sleep mask as no earbuds stay in my ears during sleep. You'd have to turn off ear detection on the Melobuds Pro, which you can do in the app. The HT10 hang in your ears like Apple Airpods - I find this style a little more comfortable (although I couldn't imagine sleeping with them as I don't think that would work at all) Generally people who like the Airpod-style do so because they just can't bear silicone tips, so if you're one of those people then go for HT10, but if not the Melobuds Pro are a better, more practical option. Hope that helps?
Thanks for the review! What brand and model would you recommend for listening to music and watching videos mainly. Not realy for calls. Sound quality being important. For this kind of price or less.
No worries! Given you have quite a limited set of requirements, you could save a bit of money and go for something even cheaper - maybe the HT05? Melobuds Pro would work though - they sound good (better if you use my custom EQ) and they have a low latency mode for when you're watching movies
@@ReganCipher thanks! So would you say these are the best in terms of sound quality for under $50? What about the soundpeats engine 4? I've heard great things in terms of sound...or any other candidates? Thanks again!!!!
ANC on Melobuds Pro is very good, but fit dependent. It took me a lot of tip rolling to get the best effect. They have the best set of features for a sub $50 set, whether it's the strongest ANC I'm not sure but it's definitely up there
There are binaural sound tests of each in this and the Ailybuds Pro review respectively, so you can hear what they sound like and decide for yourself what sounds best. There are call samples for both of them in this review, to me they sound the same
@@ReganCipher Ah I see, thanks for the prompt reply! May I know where I may find the download for your custom EQ to use on Wavelet? I can't seem to find it on your site. Cheers!
The ANC, features, transparency, battery life and call quality blow the Space Travel away. The Space Travel (and the original HT05 Melobuds) are tuned nicer IMO, but you can tweak the sound of the MeloBuds Pro in the app and get them sounding as good, it just takes a bit of effort
Could you try the new Rose Technics CERAMICS X? Based on the tests I've seen, it appears to have some of the best ANC in the under-$50 price range. I just bought it for 40 euros, including shipping and extra pro tips-it seems like a great deal, on par with melobuds pro, just curious about your opinion
Torn between this and the Anker Soundcore P20i. Are the QCY features worth the higher price? And are there any better alternatives for these two at similar price ranges?
They could be louder, like most works earbuds, at least compared to wired. I have to have them at around 80% volume on public transport etc. but at that volume it suffices. I don't have my music at stupid volumes though as I had tinnitus many years ago when dj'ing - won't be doing that again
Thanks for the review. I actually recently got a pair of these earbuds too. I was wondering, when using an app like wavelet and squig link to autoeq the buds, do I need to use the default sound mode or do I need to create a new flat profile before using the results of autoeq in wavelet.
I experimented further with the EQ settings and noticed the issue you mentioned. When starting from the default profile and saving a custom EQ, the settings appear to change randomly afterward. However, saving a flat EQ curve first works correctly, and starting with the flat EQ curve allows the new settings to save properly.
Thank you! Gutted about the right earbud 😭 did you check all of the plastic is definitely removed? Sometimes it can obscure the battery connector. If not, hopefully they will replace it for you quickly. The QCY store is usually pretty good on Ali
Hi! Would you say these outperform the OnePlus Buds 3 or Soundcore Liberty 4 nc? Is sound quality better than both of those? Its half the price normally but regardless of price, which is best of the three mentioned?
I wouldn't say the sound quality is better, but the tuning is different. The OPB3 has a sharper treble, more subbass and a little midbass bleed. The QCY have a cleaner, faster bass and a less pronounced treble. The L4 NC has more bloated bass, sounding more energetic but less musical. In terms of preferred tuning, I'd probably say OPB3>QCY>L4NC, but you can EQ any of them to how you like and you're not going to hear a huge difference in actual sound quality. For ANC strength I'd say L4NC>QCY>OPB3
It's really the product I was waiting for from Qcy (since the Qcy 11s Pro), it's what we call an upgrade 👍🏽 My only apprehension is the quality of the microphones in a phone call in noisy and windy environments, and contrary to the examples in this video, the Ht05 Melobuds are impressive in this area. In fact, beyond the sound 🔊 quality of the Ht05 Melobuds, the real reason why I use them on a daily basis is the quality of the microphones, and since even the Ht05 seem strangely average (in call) in this video and you find the new better in real life, I'm going to buy these Qcy Melobuds Pro and do my own experience in real life, and at worst, I send them back and keep my Qcy Ht05 or switch to Realme Buds Air 5 Pro which are also very very good in real use. 🙏🏽
I think both are good, your voice is softer but fuller with the HT05 and it's sharper but slightly clearer with the Melobuds Pro. It's why I include many samples and try to avoid making judgements, because I know everyone has their own interpretation of what makes good call quality. On the 2022 call test I did I reckon there was about 20 different models named by people in the comments as their favourite 🤣 but I think both HT05 and Melobuds Pro are both fine, actually amongst the best at this price. The scenes I tested in this time were pretty extreme. It was the area around London bridge station and the wind was pretty strong. So great performance from all of them really
I am user of Ht05 for this reason precisely. I really like how the microphones work during calls. The design and build quality are also good, but that's secondary. I'd be interested to hear your opinion on switching to QCY MeloBuds Pro. I've never owned Realme Buds Air 5 (6), but they also have very good reviews regarding microphone performance. However, there are complaints about the software, sensor glitches in sunlight, etc.
Engine4 has more bass, more energy and a bigger soundstage. MeloBuds Pro is more neutral sounding than the Engine4. Probably Engine4 is better suited purely for workouts whereas Melobuds Pro is better all-round with more features, better call performance, ANC, etc
Can you compare it with Samsung buds fe in terms of sound quality and ANC performance? In my country, buds fe are sold for $35. Which one do you think I should buy?
ANC is a bit stronger on the Buds FE, but I have to use the largest size eartips to get the best passive isolation. Sound quality is similar but tuning is a bit different - Buds FE has more subbass and female vocals are set back a bit more with deeper male vocals. QCY bass is not as deep but it's more punchy. They sound brighter with female vocals. Soundstage is much wider with the Samsung. QCY has more features and more control over ANC, Samsung has hardly any features but the sound and ANC are both good out of the box. Depends what's important to you I guess.
Go for Melobuds Pro, or wait for Capsule3 Pro+ which is getting released in two weeks. I have them, just haven't had chance to test them yet. Melobuds Pro are better than original Capsule3 Pro and much better than MST
Please answer me because I am confused between a headphone qcy melobuds pro and liberty 4 nc ???...In terms of sound in music, I am confused which one to buy
I prefer the default sound signature of the QCY, but everybody is different - I would listen to the binaural sample in this review and compare with the Binaural sample of the L4NC I included in my 'best under $100' video and judge for yourself 👍
regancipher.squig.link/?share=QCY_T20,QCY_Melobuds_Pro_ANC - hard to compare because T20 are semi in ear so the bass dissipates before it gets to your ears. The T20 are also brighter with sharper trebles. MeloBuds Pro are a much better experience
I think the spinfits will be too big. As I said in the review, I just used the ones that came with the Soundpeats Air4 Pro and it improved the ANC, so you're looking at something flat and a bit bigger. I haven't had chance to check what's out there from Spinfit etc but when I do I'll update 👍
How do you mean? You can just go to my squiglink, choose the model or target curve you want to use, select Melobuds Pro (ANC off) in the parametric equaliser box, then press autoeq, then export graphic EQ for wavelet. If it doesn't work, let me know your email address, I'm happy to send it to you. Regarding the autoeq app, Jaakko manages that, so you would need to contact him directly about this model. I had a chat with him a while ago and gave him permission to use my squigs, and I know he's uploaded some but not sure what he is doing going forward 👍
I don't think so. I do prefer the sound of the Melobuds Pro out of the box, but the L4 NC are fine with a bit of EQ'ing, and the ANC is stronger and the app experience more polished on the L4 NC too. Melobuds Pro would be a side-grade, possibly a downgrade if ANC is super important to you
Which one has better mic and transparency OnePlus Buds 3 or QCY Melobuds Pro? OPB3 is $60 and QCY is $25 in my country. Do you think it's worth spending an extra $35 for the OnePlus one?
If you skip to the call samples in this video: ua-cam.com/video/nA8SzBswW5w/v-deo.html you can hear the OPB3 in the same scene, I don't think there's too much difference. The OPB3 does have better transparency but I don't think it's worth the extra $35
@@ReganCipher I think 3D spatial audio is better on the OnePlus. It also supports Google fast pair unlike QCY. One other advantage OnePlus has is the volume slider.
All of those things are true, but whether they are advantages or not comes down to you....I don't use any spatial audio, don't care for fast pair and can take or leave the sliders!
There is a difference in the sound and the ANC is stronger, but if you get chance watch and listen to the Binaural sound tests, because it will probably explain the differences better than I can!
Hello Regan.. Quick question if you may. Can you rank the qcy H3 and Haylou s30 in terms of earcup size.. And wether the drivers touch your ears or not..( earcup depth ) And if the foam pads surround your ears completely without touching them or not..both in length and width. Thank you.
@@ReganCipher Thank you, but do the earcups on the haylou s30 surround your ears completely without touching the ears edges.. or not? Would love the measurements on the haylou s30 as they aren't provided by haylou company. Really appreciate your time and response.
WhatsApp does not use the mic in the earbuds by default, it will continue to use your phone mic even with Bluetooth earbuds connected, and I'm not sure it can be resolved on iOS. If your voice is muffled and low, that's probably why
Yeah, it's the same like most single driver TWS - it has very little impact compared to the tuning, but it does cause quite a few glitches in public places. As I said in the review, I ended up switching it off most of the time as you also lose multipoint for a negligible improvement in audio
@@ReganCipher Thanks for the reply , I thought LDAC is a big deal coz companies promote it as high point ! Plz review baseus Bowie series tws they are complete in almost all areas especially Bowie m10 pro n m30 ,thanks once again
HT05 is fuller but bleeds into the midrange, Melobuds Pro has less bleed, is punchier with better slam. Depends on how you like your bass, I like both in different ways. Listen to the binaural section and see which you prefer, it's not a super bassy track but the midbass is more apparent towards the end of the sample
Less than 30€ with ear detection, ldac and good ANC, that's insane. Definitely going to order them, the sound tests and ANC tests are super helpful. Thanks for this excellent review!
Thank you! You'll be happy with them for sure

For sure! Enjoy! 🎉 🙌
I got these for $32 from Aliexpress yesterday and I'm blown away by how much you get for so little. The sound on everything from solo piano to synth is fantastic. The ONLY compromise is wireless charging, and for $32 and long battery life I can easily live with USB charging. Amazing.
I agree, no wireless charging is the only drawback but not a big enough deal for me either. Enjoy! 🙌
Great review. I just ordered these last week on sale at $27, and by the way, now I am your subscriber as well 😉
Thank you! Appreciate the support! 🙌
How's the sound and bass, brother?
@oluwaboriabiodun-johnson5066 Sound is very loud and clear, and the bass is also good in bass heavy mode !
Also, the ANC is really strong at this price point
@ALIRAZA-fs1vr I been seeing reviews that the buds or the app doesn't keep the EQ settings, after disconnecting or pairing with another device.
What u think?

I believe QCY just issued a firmware update to fix the EQ problems. Thank you for the review i just got done watching you're 7 earbuds under a 100$ and I'm impressed. Greetings from across the pond. 💯👍🇺🇸
Thank you! Appreciate the support 👍 I saw Picky's review today, but I haven't got the firmware update yet 😕 I'll keep an eye out. Thanks for sharing 🙏

So I turned it off from the app.

Appreciate the comment and kind words 👍
hi, can you please tell - how much is the difference that you feel in the noise cancellation between these two models? like in the video or weaker?
The video uses a dual binaural microphone on gras-style simulated ears setup - it's as close to reality as you can reasonably expect and reflects my real life experience with both models (Melobuds Pro is much stronger)
Thanks for this! Made picking out my first pair of earbuds super easy.
No problem my friend, great choice! 🙌
Make sure you refresh a few times to make sure you got the lowest price. At one point it was a few euros more expensive for no reason, but the old price returned after refreshing the page.
Thank you for another great review! 👍
Thanks Z ! 🙏
I have the Pro plus and I would rate them higher in the under $100. I also ordered the pro version with ear tips.
Highly recommend ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Coming from Reddit, amazing Review bud!!, +1 sub :)
Thank you! 🙌
Thanks for another great review and comparison! I think they are a no-brainer at this price, the only thing I didn't like about the ht05 is the box and the design, this looks much nicer
Thank you! Yeah I kept getting my finger caught in the case this one is much nicer
Thank for your honest review.Hoping to see more videos about different brands of headphone 😆
Thanks! I try and cover the better budget brands, got a few from Moondrop and KZ coming up 👍
Great in depth review. Keep it up.
Recently found your amazing channel, thanks for your work
Thank you! 🙌 Appreciate the kind words and the support my friend ❤️
LDAC and the Pop preset make them sounds great 👍
I agree. I have both, and use the Melobuds Pro way more now. Thanks for commenting!
I just found the original a little bulky and the case always pinches my finger when I shut it 😭 agree it's as good as it gets at this price!
great review.. im tempted to buy this.. most of my soudpeats tws is trash, always the case bettery getting dead after 3 months. ( Sonic and Engine 4)
Oh god how is the case battery dying so quick? I've still got the Soundpeats H2 from 3 years ago it works like a dream 🤣 thanks for watching! 👍
Thank you for the review. I'm hoping to get Melobuds Pro soon!!!
Enjoy! 🙌
Wow finally a legit review, with actual test. 😂
Haha thanks 🙏 I hadn't even seen any other reviews of them tbh
ReganCipher
Thank you very much!
Thanks for watching! 🙌
I couldn't remember if I replied or not - I get a load of messages and sometimes get sidetracked so apologies if I didn't press send (I definitely started replying as I do remember it!)
Good choice.

Thanks for the awaited review! Just wondering why they're now sold at 38€ instead of the 26 you're saying. Am I missing something?
No problem! Did you try the link in my description? It's still showing £25 for me
Thanks for your reply, I guess the problem is the difference between pounds and euro. 26 pounds should be around 32/33 Euro, so I guess it's sort of a better deal in UK worsened by a bad exchange rate. But that's fine after all!
Just found this channel. Love the standardized anc comparisons and that you always include the previous tests. A hidden gem. Thanks a lot!
Thank you! Glad you found it useful 🙌👍
Can you please make a review of the new Soundcore's r50i NC too? Would love to hear them in your sound test section.
I'll try, but Soundcore do not send me their products unfortunately I have to buy them.... already bought Apple Airpod 4 ANC and Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 this month so might be a while 😭
Nice review! Thanks for it. I didn't find any silicon cases yet for these earbuds. Is it early?
Thank you! Yeah hopefully the silicone case will come soon, fortunately the case is holding up ok so far but I don't wanna wreck it either 😩🤣
@@ReganCipher If you find one please let us know!
Great review. Really liked the commuting mic tests. These work fine with iPhone right? And all features?
Thanks! Yeah everything works on iPhone, except the LDAC codec (no big deal, it's a bit buggy anyway)
Thank you! The Melobuds Pro are a bit stronger in the ANC. I think it's quite a good upgrade from the HT07 👍
Given how cheap these are and the multiple improvements - better codec, in-ear detection, better case, better ANC, deeper audio driver - I think it's worth the upgrade. This is much more than a cosmetic improvement.
Is it possible to add English Subtitles to your excellent reviews?
There are many $200 gaming headsets without LDAC and these under $40 earbuds do have LDAC. Also multipoint, which some $200 earbuds don't have.
LDAC and multipoint are pretty straightforward to include now, because even the cheaper chipset manufacturers have low cost SOCs that support it (BES, wuqi, etc)
Thank you for this!
Thanks for commenting!
@@ReganCipher you are the first to review QCY melobuds pro and I was so relieved that I ordered it. Really appreciate your work man, keep it up!
Thanks for another great review man! Just one question: can you use a single bud with ANC or transparency and would it function as mono mode?
Thank you! You lose ANC and touch controls with a single bud, but you can still use them for calls 🤙
Would you recommend these earbuds as the best anc buds for under $50? Thanks for the review!
Thank you! They are definitely the best value and amongst the best under $50 for sure
Excellent review Regan! I have used both ht05 and ht07 and found both of these to be value for money. The adaptive ANC seems better than the regular one from ht05.
Thank you! Yes, QCY are almost always giving great value for money, and the ANC is definitely a big improvement. Appreciate the comment! 🙌
@@ReganCipher You are welcome brother! I appreciate your good contents, they are always helpful.
Hey man, how's the sound difference between the HT05 and the Melobuds Pro???
I heard the Pro's sound and bass is worse than the HT05?
But can I tune the EQ on the Melobuds Pro to get great bass, and stull have good sound???
Did you listen to the sound test in the review? This is exactly why I include them, so you can hear the difference for yourself
@ReganCipher Yes I did, big man.
Just that seeing mixed reviews on Amazon and Reddit got me more skeptical.
@@ReganCipher tnx a lot!!
i think melobuds pro has a bigger sound stage :) but a bit brighter...
It can feel a bit constrained with some styles but with my EQ settings the staging sounds better. And yeah, the tonal balance is a little brighter for sure
Man just love your videos, just brought ht05 watching your video and maybe, I'll buy the melobuds pro too😂
Thank you for the support man appreciate it 🙌
did u buy the Pro??
Thank you, I'm happy you found some earbuds and headphones you like for such a small price 😎
I'm still using Haylou W1 (not anc version), do you think it's worth the upgrade to this melobuds pro soundwise?
They do sound better than the W1. The trebles aren't as detailed but it's a more balanced sound overall. With my EQ (see the description) you can get the QCY sounding really good
Thank you for this amazing review. I have bought these and loving them so far (I hope they release the firmware update because other than Picky audio noone has received it yet). I have a question;
What eartip replacements you think would be best for them because the earbuds are falling from my ear.
@@ReganCipherThank you so much for the reply and waiting for your response
Sound quality is a big deal for me... I prefer bass more.... Should i get melobuds or melobuds pro?
HT05 is a warmer sound - listen to the sound samples I included and decide what you prefer (it's in the Binaural sound samples section)
Thank you for the review. Compared with QCY HT10, which model provides a more comfortable wearing experience? (long-term wear and wear when sleeping)
The HT10 hang in your ears like Apple Airpods - I find this style a little more comfortable (although I couldn't imagine sleeping with them as I don't think that would work at all)
Generally people who like the Airpod-style do so because they just can't bear silicone tips, so if you're one of those people then go for HT10, but if not the Melobuds Pro are a better, more practical option.
Hope that helps?
Thank you so much 😁

@@ReganCipher Thank you! Will buy one now.
What would you say is the best pure anc earbuds under $50 besides the tws1 pro 2?
ANC on Melobuds Pro is very good, but fit dependent. It took me a lot of tip rolling to get the best effect. They have the best set of features for a sub $50 set, whether it's the strongest ANC I'm not sure but it's definitely up there
@@ReganCipher alright thanks 👍🏾
QCY-AilyBuds Pro Plus OR melo pro, for sound quality and mics ?
There are binaural sound tests of each in this and the Ailybuds Pro review respectively, so you can hear what they sound like and decide for yourself what sounds best. There are call samples for both of them in this review, to me they sound the same

Hey! Any intention to upload an AutoEQ profile of these or would you recommend to use another preexisting profile?
Hi! That's actually not down to me, it's down to autoeq. They have access to my site, so no reason why not, you would just have to ask them 👍
@@ReganCipher Ah I see, thanks for the prompt reply! May I know where I may find the download for your custom EQ to use on Wavelet? I can't seem to find it on your site. Cheers!
how is this compared to moondrop space travel? do you think this earbuds is better options to buy it?
The ANC, features, transparency, battery life and call quality blow the Space Travel away. The Space Travel (and the original HT05 Melobuds) are tuned nicer IMO, but you can tweak the sound of the MeloBuds Pro in the app and get them sounding as good, it just takes a bit of effort
@@ReganCipher Wow thanks sir for responding my comment! It convinced me right now to buy the qcy melobuds pro instead of moondrop space travel.
I will be reviewing them probably next month 👍
Torn between this and the Anker Soundcore P20i. Are the QCY features worth the higher price? And are there any better alternatives for these two at similar price ranges?
Not tried that Soundcore model, but the QCY are the best I've tried in their price category by some distance 👍
Is the p20i same as R50i?
cuz I've used the r50i
Hi. Which one do you prefer for 35 dollars: the PistonBudsPRO Q30 or the QCY MeloBuds Pro?
Both are good. I prefer the Melobuds Pro - just about
Which one is more comfortable to wear melobuds pro or alybuds pro+?
It depends if you prefer Airpod style or with silicone tips. I find them both as comfortable as each other
How about the sound level? I use wired for gaming and casual music listening and I m used to hearing in full volume, what about this one’s volume?
They could be louder, like most works earbuds, at least compared to wired. I have to have them at around 80% volume on public transport etc. but at that volume it suffices. I don't have my music at stupid volumes though as I had tinnitus many years ago when dj'ing - won't be doing that again
Thanks for the review. I actually recently got a pair of these earbuds too. I was wondering, when using an app like wavelet and squig link to autoeq the buds, do I need to use the default sound mode or do I need to create a new flat profile before using the results of autoeq in wavelet.
No problem, thanks for watching! I think go for default sound, as that's the one I used for my measurements 👍
That could explained why the in app eq doesn't behave as expected. From my observation, the eq isn't flat in that mode.
Yeah it isn't flat in the default mode, but I knew that already (I had a similar conversation with another subscriber about the HT05)
I experimented further with the EQ settings and noticed the issue you mentioned. When starting from the default profile and saving a custom EQ, the settings appear to change randomly afterward. However, saving a flat EQ curve first works correctly, and starting with the flat EQ curve allows the new settings to save properly.
@Martin-g4w even with the flat EQ, no matter what I do to the higher frequencies nothing changes. The curve beyond 12kHz stays the same
Great review, I bought one from Aliexpress but the right earbuds is not working.
Thank you very much! I think I'm decided then. I'm very excited for these. Coming from the Jlab go air pop I'll be in for a nice surprise I believe.
It's really the product I was waiting for from Qcy (since the Qcy 11s Pro), it's what we call an upgrade 👍🏽
My only apprehension is the quality of the microphones in a phone call in noisy and windy environments, and contrary to the examples in this video, the Ht05 Melobuds are impressive in this area.
I really like how the
microphones work during calls. The design and build quality are also
good, but that's secondary. I'd be interested to hear your opinion on
switching to QCY MeloBuds Pro. I've never owned Realme Buds Air 5 (6),
but they also have very good reviews regarding microphone performance.
However, there are complaints about the software, sensor glitches in
sunlight, etc.
Have you bought the Melobuds Pro now??
If you have, what are your extensive thoughts on the two?
What should I get if I want a great sound quality and I also want to workout with earbuds on? Soundpeats 4 engine or melobuds pro? :)
What is the track at 9:20? Apps don't find it. Thanks.
All the tracks in my videos are productions by either me or my friends..... unfortunately, I can't share this because of copyright reasons 😢
should i pick this or soundpeats capsule3 pro? anc and sound quality wise. also the prices are similar in aliexpress
i'm considering space travel too
Go for Melobuds Pro, or wait for Capsule3 Pro+ which is getting released in two weeks.
@ReganCipher Thank you so much 🙋♂️
whats the difference in sound quality compared to qcy t20
regancipher.squig.link/?share=QCY_T20,QCY_Melobuds_Pro_ANC - hard to compare because T20 are semi in ear so the bass dissipates before it gets to your ears. The T20 are also brighter with sharper trebles. MeloBuds Pro are a much better experience
Do you think the Spinfit Omni eartips would work okay with them? If no what are some recommendations
Oh, one more thing, could you please upload the autoeq settings?
How do you mean? You can just go to my squiglink, choose the model or target curve you want to use, select Melobuds Pro (ANC off) in the parametric equaliser box, then press autoeq, then export graphic EQ for wavelet. If it doesn't work, let me know your email address, I'm happy to send it to you.
Regarding the autoeq app, Jaakko manages that, so you would need to contact him directly about this model. I had a chat with him a while ago and gave him permission to use my squigs, and I know he's uploaded some but not sure what he is doing going forward 👍
@@ReganCipher Oh, I didn't know about squiglink. Such a cool site. Worked perfectly, thanks once more!
My right earbud is not charging and stays connected even inside the case
Clean the charger connectors on the case and the earbuds. If still not working, contact QCY support or return them
I have the liberty 4 NC. Does it make sense getting the Melobuds Pro when it comes to sound quality?
I don't think so. I do prefer the sound of the Melobuds Pro out of the box, but the L4 NC are fine with a bit of EQ'ing, and the ANC is stronger and the app experience more polished on the L4 NC too. Melobuds Pro would be a side-grade, possibly a downgrade if ANC is super important to you
@@ReganCipherThanks for your views. Appreciate it!

@@dileeshadissanayaka9 thanks for commenting, much appreciated! 👍
1.0.7 fw is released. can you check what is improved?
Will do 👍
Which one has better mic and transparency OnePlus Buds 3 or QCY Melobuds Pro?
@@ReganCipher Hey, I just got the Melobuds Pro. Everything is great except the sound tuning. Do you have any custom EQ settings that you can share?
@rakat04 how do you want it to sound?
great review
Thank you 🙌
Is there big difference comparedvto ht05 for sound quality n Anc efficiency ?
Did you watch the video? That's why I included the samples
@@ReganCipher sorry, not yet cuz I was in a rush. Btw, I've bought ht05 based on ur recommendation and it's great 💙
There is a difference in the sound and the ANC is stronger, but if you get chance watch and listen to the Binaural sound tests, because it will probably explain the differences better than I can!
Please do a review of Soundpeats Clear
I reviewed them when they came out: ua-cam.com/video/7_pO5f1CXUk/v-deo.html
is it better overall than galaxy buds fe?
More features on the QCY, but I prefer the buds FE. ANC is stronger, and I prefer the sound out of the box
Hello Regan..
Quick question if you may.
Can you rank the qcy H3 and Haylou s30 in terms of earcup size..
And wether the drivers touch your ears or not..( earcup depth )
And if the foam pads surround your ears completely without touching them or not..both in length and width.
Thank you.
S30 are definitely bigger and don't press on my ears like the H3 do. I'll try and get some measurements done tonight 👍
I don't know about any earbuds that have LDAC and multipoint as the same time. Even expensive Sony earbuds.
XM5's and Technics AZ80, but I have to mention the limitations in reviews because otherwise I get a ton of questions asking the same things!
Does it have dual device pairing feature?
Yes
How does LDAC performs? Did you check that ?
Yeah, it's the same like most single driver TWS - it has very little impact compared to the tuning, but it does cause quite a few glitches in public places. As I said in the review, I ended up switching it off most of the time as you also lose multipoint for a negligible improvement in audio
@@ReganCipher Thanks for the reply , I thought LDAC is a big deal coz companies promote it as high point ! Plz review baseus Bowie series tws they are complete in almost all areas especially Bowie m10 pro n m30 ,thanks once again
@@ReganCipheryou also lose "spacial audio" (which isn't really spacial audio) with LDAC
How is it compared to liberty 4nc?
ANC is not as strong as L4NC. Soundcore app is better. QCY fit is better and sound is better out of the box. Plus QCY is half the price
Which bass sounds better?
HT05 is fuller but bleeds into the midrange, Melobuds Pro has less bleed, is punchier with better slam. Depends on how you like your bass, I like both in different ways. Listen to the binaural section and see which you prefer, it's not a super bassy track but the midbass is more apparent towards the end of the sample
Qcy ht07 ArcBuds vs Melobuds pro .. Anc wise..?
Melobuds Pro
Can I get an eq recommendations
