Oh, I second that Motion. I see so many videos, that leave out the most obviously, wanted info. I've seen so many that, hide or won't show the lure they caught the fish on. Even Hunting Videos ... person, doesn't mention what caliber he used.. As I Live and Breathe, Aunt Clem would say!!!

@onedeep160 no, it is not ! He's using a Ninja Dagger rod... where in the description is that rod listed. What's the spects ? Length, action etc... I'd be great if he shared it.

I've had other BPM baits ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxCbNOWAGmn6nfbCbJDmasvBq7J38KZNw2 before and they've pretty much always came through for me with the suskie smallies here and even with the walleye and pike, but I realized I didn't have an "in-between" pattern so this junebug one fills that role in no problem. it pairs up magnificently with a junebug Zoom Z-craw Jr that was trimmed a couple millimeters before the hook slots and rigged sideways for that fatter panfish side profile while still being a nice'n'compact presentation, a real power-finesse bait. Hell, it was so pretty I even bothered to fotosketch the pic into a watercolor painting image just to show you it's beauty! Even the blades are really well made, sure, they're not of Hildebrandt-level exquisiteness but look at the bead's reflection on the colorado blade, definitely well-made! The only "problem" spot it had was a bald spot in the skirt but it was nothing that I couldn't easily fix with a but of tuggin'n'shiftin' with the strands for a couple of seconds, besides that it is pretty minty!

doesn't matter if you catch a lot of fish or not, you walk through what you are using and even best ways to use it a lot of times and that helps a lot of people out. Showing that you don't always land a huge fish every time you go out seems good so other new anglers don't get discouraged. Keep up the good work and as always the editing is on point.

For me personally I'd like to see you upload videos regardless if you catch a lot of monster size fish or if you barely catch anything. People can learn from both. I mean I've never been saltwater fishing in my life and it's something I want to get into so watching yours and other peoples videos helps me learn whether you catch a lot of fish or just a couple small ones.

I agree. It shows that all fisherman, even the seasoned ones like you Lawson, have days that you aren’t as successful. It helps me realize that and not get so frustrated when I’m not catching. I’d love for you to give your tips on how you find the spots you chose. What do you look for?

  • @nobodyimportant69

Doesn't matter to me if what you catch is small or a monster. Being an avid fisherman, and mostly from shore, you get what the water gives you. I'm ecstatic to catch a dozen or so little squirts and one or two mediums. It just reinforces that you're doing something right. Show those vids!!! Got no problem with that: a fish caught is a fish caught, size doesn't matter.
Anyways, wish you better luck in the future. The big ones are always there on the edges of the school of smaller fish, it's just a matter of figuring out what they want. Once you get that sussed out, you'll get more medium to large fish and less small fry. And it changes from day to day, and sometimes hour to hour. Just keep at it, don't ever give up
Me personally, I'd like to see the failures as much as the successes. That helps teach the rest of us what does and doesn't work in certain situations.
Love your vids, keep up the great content!!

Im interested in the failures too. All these fishing videos make it seem like you just show up cast and catch. Im a new fisherman and im finding out how much time it takes to find the fish. Even hooking them is a learning process. But its sick when your on and the beast is fighting for its life.

There's always a lesson in your vids, thumbs up here. Good tip on the waders, looking like a dweeb beats getting stung any day. After fifty plus years of surfing South Florida and hundreds of man-o-war stings, you get used to it but it still sucks especially when you get wrapped good and it travels to your groin and/or armpit nodes. That two or three hour ache is worse than the sting. We ran a call on a family with four kids while working fire rescue on South Beach in Miami, kids from five up to fourteen years old and they were fighting over one of the little blue bastards in the shore break thinking it was a balloon. The bigger kids naturally got more of it than the smaller ones, they thought they were dying.

Upload it all, Lawson. It’s all about the story. It’s all about the experience. You can’t take for granted your location and ability to fish the waters you have available to you. A lot of your viewers (like myself) are land locked and love the quick escape to the salt water we get when watching your videos. It’s great to learn what I can from you to prepare for the VERY seldom opportunities I get to saltwater fish. There is also always something to learn from you, even on your off days!
Keep up the good work, brother!

Part of why I tune is is for the therapeutic scenery and sunshine. Can't get enough of the crystal clear water, palm trees and outrageous homes/boats. (And I live two blocks from the beach in Jersey) Don't get me wrong, I'm here for the fishing , but enjoy these elements as well.

I know this is an old post, but it is one of the few videos that touches on the size of the spoon. A lot of people throw the 3oz spoons found on eBay. A FAR superior option is the spoons from Nichols Lures. I personally order the 5.5" in saltwater version and then add flashabou to the hook. One advantage is the lure stays high in the water column relative to it's size. You get less hang-ups around structure.

I had a nasty red line down my face for awhile! I was glad to be wearing sunglasses! Don't worry about not getting any monsters. Would have loved to watch your fly fishing session too. The switch up of your content is great and encourage you to continue, despite catching monsters or not. 👍👍

Every fisherman knows that the catch is not always good every time, but I love your videos so it would be awsome if you wanted to load every time you were out! Even if there are only small fish you catch. It's really good movies you make, look'in forward to the next movie.

I just like watching your videos I do not care if you catch big fish or not. I just like coming home and seeing there is a video for me to watch. It doesn’t matter if you catch a monster or just catch some “dweebs.” Keep up the good work u are doing great

I vote for seeing more videos. Even if you don’t catch something I’m sure to learn from it whether it’s location, gear or presentation.

Lawson, for a novice like me, seeing a pro level angler like you not always catching Moby Dick, keeps me motivated on those slow days, or when the big'uns are hiding from me, lol. So, if your reel is hummin... just keep em comin! Big or small, we'll watch em all! 😊

Hey, a nice morning on the beach. Sometimes they just aren’t there. Keep fishing and share your adventures with us. Thanks. BTW, my arms were getting tired watching you! I throw an 8’ rod with a 4000 size reel.
