hey lawson! im a huge fan im a 13 year old girl and i get bullied a lot bc i love to fish and people say its “weird” bc im a girl but i was wondering if you could please do a like 20 dollar or how ever much you want fishing challenge where you go to a tackle shop with the amount you choose and have a limit to buy everything you need to catch a fish of your choice and see how successful you are. i love you so much and i hope you reply. edit: thank you guys so much for the support it really means a lot! 💜
You are cool!! When I was your age (33 years ago) to find a girl that fished was RARE! Don't you dare let "any" naysayers deter your quest to catch the big one! And when I was a young lad (6 or so) I used a $10 pole (Wal-Mart) and worms dug up from the garden. It's a love of nature and the love of the hunt! From where I'm sitting, you look pretty cool to me!
Hey, you keep fishing and don't let anyone hold you back. Check out Darsizzle Offshore on UA-cam. Great fisherman and she is a huge supporter of ladies who like to fish.
Gabby Falacienski DO NOT let anyone tell you what you SHOULD be doing! You do what you enjoy doing and love every second of it! It may not mean much now but don’t live to impress others, live and do what you love for YOU. 🙏🏼

Having fished multiple s in different sizes and colors, ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxCbNOWAGmn6nfbCbJDmasvBq7J38KZNw2 this is by far my favorite. One thing to be aware of is the sided willow blade. One side is silver and the other is the green/orange shown. This is not bad, just unconventional. In terms of fishing, I have found the lure works just fine without a tail like a craw or shad. That addition is up to you. Also, the hook part where you attach the swivel snap or tie the line is a problem on baits these days, since it's able to slide up and down. However this lure seems to be tight enough that that doesn't happen often, and you can solve it by putting a thin slice of medical tube over the hook before attaching the line. Like others have said, it's really magic on a good windy day.
Nice vid. And Gabby, for you, you rock girl ! My daughter loves to fish hunt and camp. She is my inspiration! Now she is 22 and works on aircraft in the Navy, and travels all over the world. Do what you love Gabby. Enjoy “Your Life” 😀👍

A lure I've always caught a ton of fish on was the Acme Kastmaster. In freshwater I can cover a ton of area in a short amount of time and in saltwater everything in the world jumps on it. And like your diamond jig they cast a mile.
Just watching some old stuff this morning. That would be an awesome trip for you and your boys, run up to the Cape Cod Canal during the Striper run or for Bonita off Cape Cod when they are running. Bonita’s from the beach would be a blast.
I lived there for 30 years. Diamond jig for Snook during September mullet run walking and casting up and down beaches. I lived in Cape Canaveral across the street from the pier. I'd go over at night and limit out in 15 minutes. But really it's good because you can get away from people and the crowds. Beaches also give good elbow room for landing your fish. Beaches also have no structure to mess you up! Whiting, Pompano, Black Drum, Snook and Reds all there for those in the know. Flounder out at Jetty Park mid June and at Port's End Park. Learn the beaches though and skip the crowds. Happy fishing!

What a fun night! I'm hoping to head back to the coast to try some more surf fishing. Last year tried mainly bait and some fly fishing, but not a lot of luck except for some small gaffe top cats near Galveston. This year I want to try fly fishing again, but also I want to just fish all artificials. Your vid was encouraging. Thanks bro!.......................................AO

Okay then; if nostalgia gets you pumped' I recommend tying on some Johnson Silver Minnows with which you can catch nearly everything you fish for. These are great old weed less spoons you can fish effectively in snaggy places.
It’s a great video of a guy hanging out with his friends catching fish and told a great story about his dad. Why is there 208 downvoted? Bunch of savages.
Hey Lawson I fish a lot with live bait and pin fish and green backs. Now I am looking to do more lure fishing and was wondering if you can give me some ideas on what to use . I have a couple spoons but would like to know what you recommend. Thank you
I typically fish alone cuz I don't know anyone to fish with and it's on a rare or special occasion that my dad or daughter will fish with me. I really have to persuade my daughter to go fishing with me anymore or she has to be in the mood to go fishing. Since I am left with going by myself most of the time I use it as time for me to collect my thoughts and have some quiet and time away from everyday life, fishing I find is very therapeutic as well ☺☺ Been on a break from it though with the brutal polar freeze here in Ohio lately 😂😂 lol
Cool to see you fishing in my area, living near the beach I've actually never beach fished before. I'm always in the Banana or Indian River, after watching your two part beach fishing series, I definitely want to try fishing for some pomps / sheeps, I've picked up some of those goofy jigs locally here at Harry Goodes, they are great for jig shrimp for black drum under the bridges here as well.
Every time I see this thumbnail I snicker to myself thinking about how different people fisheries can be. Just the fact that LL is holding up "this simple lure" that we Northeast anglers know as a A007 diamond jig. Yeah we never leave home without a diamond jig in 3 sizes. I'm guessing there are no sand eels in Florida.
When I fish for Spanish Mac, and they are schooling, they will hit anything. The inline lead gets hit so much, I have to tie it onto the main mono line with a short piece of wire to keep from getting cut off. Once I had a small, 1" loop of mono between the weight and trolling spoon...didn't think much of it but it held a tiny air bubble when it broke the surface, and a Spanish (or blue) hitting that, cutting my spoon off! People use a small section of plastic straws too. Still, my favorite from trolling is a )) Clark Spoon.
