I wonder how many don't seek help vs those who do and aren't taken seriously by healthcare providers and don't receive any useful help... 🤔

Im going through this now, started last year. I would say the biggest impact has been on my mental health. Yes I do get the sweats and palpitations, but by far the worst are the depressive episodes, especially on waking up. So by default, it has become more of a mental health issue than a peri menopause one.

Can fully relate to the depressive episodes, hair thinning/falling out, memory issues, irritability etc, etc.
I'm not a health care professional but I was given the following advice to tackle menopausal symptoms:
Stick to a whole foods diet (plenty of fresh fruit & veg, nuts, seeds etc). Cut out the processed crap! Avoid consuming spicy stuff as this triggers night sweats/flushes. Drink around 2.5 litres of water per day. So far this is paying off & as an added bonus, the kilos are falling off!

Yeah its not pleasant, first my progesterone crashed, i started getting a bald patch on the front top part of my head, my hair was also thinning, i was up changing my pjamas and sheets 4 times a night because they were soaking wet i was exhausted all the time and generally felt really crappy. I was lucky to get 2_ 3 hours sleep a night, then my oestrogen crashed....the only thing that has worked for me after nothing else did was sandrena gel.....took 5 months before i started feeling better, its changed my life and the occasional night sweat hot flush and lack of sleep i can now cope with....

I dread 2 weeks of the month...the pain is from ovulation until day 3 of my period. Also experience extreme fatigue and depression alongside the pain. Diagnosed with PMDD but haven't found a treatment yet. sorry to all women suffering !! 🩵🩵🩵😔
