It is a pretty good workaround tho. NDI is a license that might be hard for Apple to obtain - and if there is third party there and it easy to leverage. Agree with the complexity. I hope support is here. Our spatial video community is very tiny. I hope by working to spread the love, more contents / users to come and then all software makers have to do something now as the number become significant. Because adding this feature is easier said than done. When it is perfect it will be released. As for the AVP, it is years away for the mainstream. I am glad it did not turn out to be a Game headset like the Quest, but a place to develop and display content. Once you go Spatial you never go back.
@@bobbyDig I’d put this statement with a grain of salt as the question has grown up a lot since V68 And windows management / granularity + multiple inputs (therefore input resolution ) makes the quest more than a gamer headset
oh yes! I am making that tutorial as we speak. This is a on-going FCP 11 series to cover the entire 360 / 180 immersive timeline. Going with the FCP mind-set I am going to make them bite size and well orgainzed (compared to my Resolve series which is all over the places lol)
Can't wait for the VR180 in FCP tutorial! Although what I'm really excited for is that Resolve is supposed to be adding official support this quarter for VR180 to work with the new URSA Cine Immersive.
Yes Resolve will be - but probably after the release of cine immersive. That is still 2 months to come (if not longer). Meanwhile, FCP is a lot faster for Canon workflow as I discovered now
By the way.. I found that routing the audio to the Apple Vision Pro instead of NDI works better for me. I was getting extreme lag and unplayable problems with NDI selected in audio source. Works fine with avp as the source
The only other way works with FCP is the very old Vive Pro from 5 years ago which on one has anymore lol. Meta and Apple does not seat well together so there is no direct support. I am working on way to make it work tho so give me some time to revert-enginnering a solution.
@@hughhou I actually do have the old Vive Pro, plus Canon R5C and M1 Max Pro with FCP 11, but I cannot afford Apple Vision just yet. Is it the same workflow you describe in this video?
Yes it does! Lol. You saw right tho it. I am waiting for Resolve to get their stuffs together to fix the 19.1.2 bug that break all scripting workflow in Edit page. Taking a break on it as more people comment on my video of things breaking that asking a question lol.

thanks for the tip did you know that your videos are horribly dubbed in french when im logged in france area and i cant change language in youtube app on meta quest i have to play it from the browser. please don't let automatic dubbing its a terrible experience 🙏
@@hughhou yeah in the UA-cam standalone version on the quest you can’t select the audio track you have to set the app language on prefs Tho it’s different front the browser version of UA-cam . And to be honest the translation and voice is not good for none English speakers
