@@thunderflare59 the irony is that a few have actually shifted the narrative to include all theories and plausible hypotheses into one cozy little definition that lumps legitimate ideas with the half-baked abominations like this. MK Ultra, Operation Paper Clip, Tuskegee Experiments, Russia Hoax, and countless others that are proven truthful facts once started out as a possible theory that had credibility and facts to substantiate them, but a few nameless people working in the shadows convinced a good number of people that if you believe it, you’re no better than the flat earthers, the ‘Hollywood is aliens’ and other nonsensical blathering idiots.

It's probably true, especially football games. I once (actually dozens of times on cable TV) saw an old documentary called "Flash Gordon" which clearly shows how that sport was invented on some other planet.

The funniest thing I find about conspiracy theorists is how they think that people who are trying to hide the conspiracy would just leave clues around as if its an escape room. Like, if I were to be tasked with hiding the fact that every celebrity is a cyborg, the last thing i would do is purposely leave out clues that can be connected to solve the puzzle. Why would I willingly give away a secret Im supposed to keep?

I was watching Big City Greens, and there’s this character named Andromeda. She is a conspiracist, though unlike these TikTokers, her ideas are played for laughs rather than being stated as fact. I just thought I’d bring this up, not only to recommend the show, but to say that conspiracies can be satire and actually funny if done right, which this fails to do since it’s passed as true.

I used to be friends with a girl who fell DEEP into these conspiracies around 2021/22. One day she was watching that Netflix show “Inside Job” (which is basically an adult cartoon comedy where all these conspiracies are actually true)
She watched one episode and was like “LOOK YOU SEE!! There’s a free Mason frame in the background! They’re throwing it right at our faces because they think we’re stupid! Netflix and everybody is evil and think we’re all stupid and won’t notice! Ha!”
Another time she tried to get me and my girlfriend to watch a 5hr UA-cam video about some random guy that claimed to be from Hollywood exposing all the conspiracies….. FIVE HOURS!!!!!!

Anyways,here a brownie recipe.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup chopped nuts or chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350ºF (175°C) and grease a baking pan.
2. Melt 1 cup butter, mix with 2 cups sugar.
3. Add 4 eggs and 1 tsp vanilla; mix well.
4. Sift in 1/2 cup flour, 1/2 cup cocoa, and 1/4 tsp salt; stir.
5. Optional: add 1 cup nuts or chocolate chips.
6. Pour into the pan, bake for 25-30 mins.
7. Cool completely,cut into squares,And enjoy your brownies!

The "scary" part of this is that a while ago I wrote a book about a dystopian future where humans and AI are difficult to differentiate and AI overtaking humans. It's fiction and unrealistic. But if people actually start to believe this kind of stuff it makes me wonder if these kind of ficition will fuel their paranoia.

And their was a story on BBC about a library in the state I live in and have lived in for my whole life (Massachusetts) and it was about a library that was paying off library debt where you can’t get anything from the library anymore but if you send in a picture of a cat they will pay off your library debt. I did sound design for a short play festival a while back where one of the plays had a lot of tense silences. Adding a clock and other background noise (the clock is particularly effective since you're a bit more aware of the time passing) is such a good way to accentuate an awkward pause. Definitely not an omen of the end times lol

Yes, commercials are changing: they have to get your attention and I can imagine it could be difficult during a sporting event like this because people are there to watch sport and when there's a commercial on it't time to talk about what you just watched or go to bathroom (in my county we don't usually have commercials like that, so I don't really know). But now I almost have the impression that people watched the commercialt rather than the SuperBawl (or however it's spelled) so I would say that the commercials appear to have won.
