Regardless of personal feelings on the type of match, these are two people who are tremendously well liked by the AEW audience and i'm honestly baffled they just gave it away on weekly TV rather than build it up to make people pay for it.
That's because Tony isn't a booker, he's a fanboy.

When I watched this match I was like, this is like a video game where they just do move on each other, nothing like what "real" combat would remotely look like in real life

Really cant see how ppl can call this a dream match when they've already worked together. Casual fans dont know that, but the AEW fan base DEFINITELY knows that. It's the same as last time, they basically took their favorite parts of every Dragonball Z fight and stitched them together for yet another match.

Oddly enough, I told my co worker that you can tell when a free agent went to AEW for the check by watching thier physique degrade. Unless they have other ambitions like acting. In this match, it's the worse shape I've ever seen Rico in (still ripped but getting soft around the middle) and Osprey lost his 6 pack to.

I seem to remember these guys had a big match on the indies some years ago that everyone was raving about. If I AM remembering that right, it was a phenomenal sequence of moves where nobody sold anything and everything moved at 137 miles per hour and the finish just kind of...happened.
13:17 Watch a UFC fight. When youre about to be knocked out you have about 10-20 seconds of adrenaline or youre out on your feet its a combat sport thing. But this is Tony Khan booking and WWE does it as well. But they dont do storylines or real acting. Its just matches
