Hi Robbie! What a kind gesture making and giving that planter to Ashley. She's so lucky to have you and Brent as neighbors. Freya is a great supervisor! Both planters are gorgeous! You may need to do a blue planter just for Brent. I love that color of Lantana. I'm hoping to be able to find at least 2 of them for pots on my deck. I was surprised that you didn't tease the roots on a few of the plants, but always trust your judgement. Thank you so much for sharing!

FYI around here the way the dichondra Silver Falls is potted up, I can cut that plant in half and occasionally four. That way I can tuck smaller pieces around the edge of the pot when needed.

I absolutely loved the pink container. I had never seen the Pentas in my area of Colorado so decided to drive the 60 miles to the nearest Lowes. Guess what?! They had a pink one just like yours. I'm now the happy owner of three of them. Hope my containers turn out as nice as yours (one for me, one for my neighbor and one for my bestie). Thanks so much for the inspiration.

Your neighbor is gonna love you I plant up flowers every year for my neighbor upstairs. I highly recommend proven winners dry slow release fertilizer it works so well. As for the potato vine I use proven winners raven in full sun and it loves it.
The type of container you have here with the inward rolled rim is a great attractant for slugs and snails. I fill that space with the roll type of insulation or pool noodle. Once the plants are in the container, place a handful of slug, snail and earwig bait especially around the rim area. Great combination of plants!

If you get some copper tape and put it under the rim of those planters slugs will not be able to pass over it electrocute them or melts them. I got mine on Amazon. I put it on all my pots with my hostas in it.

She just gave me organic veg-snow peas, yellow wax beans, peppers, dill & parsley grown from seed so, im on it only because of watching your videos. Im off to the garden centre now! Sending over a tad cooler weather your way to enjoy from up in Ontario, Canada.
Here in Puerto Rico I usually by from Homedepot but the $1.10 plants..because they do get bigger. I do not trust myself to get more expensive plants $$$. Lovely container…you can be my neighbor !

I also have that same pot, I put a small rose in it every year and then in fall I transplant it to the garden somewhere because here in zone 5b it won’t survive the winter in a container, my gardens are getting so many roses I need to find a different plant next year, I did use hydrangeas for many years so I will need something totally different. 😂 again what a thoughtful guy you are, I LOVE your videos.❤️

I have several of the apple blossom Pentas in my garden and they are on year two, continuously blooming, gorgeous, direct sun, I have never cut them back and they are going strong

I've wondered that too but he never does loosen the roots and his plants always do great. He has said the roots work themselves out.
Would you be mine, could you be mine, won't you please be my neighbor? I sure wish you were! I have not had good neighbors. In one place, our cars got egged, mean notes, they poisoned my birdbath, stalked my daughter, and this was in a senior community!!! I can't even drive by the place now without wanting to throw up it was such a bad experience. Why did they hate us? Because we were in our 50s and not our 70s like them. We moved to this house.
