Just watching this for the first time. Looks like a good recuperation spot. A couple of pans you did with the camera across the lake created a perfect few moments of North Woods peace. Not easy to do on camera. Thanks for sharing.
You did look thin...the saw you were in the hospital. Very scary to hear that! Please stay healthy & get your weight back on. Your love of those beautiful woods & lakes will be good medicine for you! Take care...really enjoy watching your videos!! Maybe roll in the grass like Gracie!!
Somebody likes her blueberries. 😁 Sorry to hear about your medical problem. Praying for you and Gracie, Lord help them through their difficult times. 🙏🙏 Thank you so much in letting us enjoy the land of serenity, peace and quiet, away from the world's problems. God Bless you both and take care. 👍
Hi Cory UC has been helped by super high nutrition regimen. You seem to eat very well too. What a serious hospitalization. We are so glad to hear you are back on track. The best way to pick up strength is exactly what you are doing. Praise God!
Hey Cory and shiny black dog! Praise God you are doing better. I just recovered from a diverticulitis episode myself. I caught it early and antibiotics and a liquid diet followed by a bland diet took care of it. I try to stay away from roasted hard nuts and foods with a lot of small seeds since I found out that I had diverticular pockets in my sigmoid colon. I do not eat corn at all. Managing stress is also important since the colon reacts negatively to unresolved stress. Your colon will also tell you how to feel mentally when it is inflamed. OK "doctor" Trumbo! That's enough! It is great to see you and Gracie out and about. May the LORD bless and keep you, my brother.
Glad to hear that you’re heading in a better direction! The call of nature is good medicine for sure. Take care safe travels and see you in your next video👍
Happy 2 hear U R on the mend Cory! Seems 'many' R suffering all manner of afflictions and it just seems that it's par for the course in these 'End Times'. We keep moving forward and appreciate 'everything' more deeply due to our trials. Nothing is random...all suffering well accepted is as gold in the saving of souls. Your a good, strong, young man of Faith...I thank 'Him' that the test U went through was speedy! Thanks 4 sharing...health and God Bless! :)
May God continue to provide His healing. Good to see you went to a special place with your best friend to rest and continue your recovery. Take your time and get your full strength back. Sometimes we are tempted to push ourselves to get better too quickly but just be patient and get all the way well. Get plenty of rest, feed your body, and your soul-and before you know it, you’ll be 100%. Thank you for bringing us along with you on this lovely journey.
Diverticulitis is very painful. And will keep you in hospital for at least a week. Make sure you have enough fluids. I hope it all goes well now so you can stay in the woods as much as you like
Brother, I feel ya! I spent a week in the hospital in 2020 with acute Colitis. Lost about twenty pounds (and I'm not that big) there. Turned out I also had a gallbladder full of marble-sized stones they had to remove. It's been a tough three years since. I've had to make drastic changes in my diet. Thank God I've only had two flare-ups since then, and my diet changes seem to be helping with healing.
Another great video...glad your back brother....I purchased some ABOL tea from mainley coffee.....the best tea me and my wife have ever had.....GOD BLESS
You had to be in a lot of pain Cory. Glad everything is OK now and you're back to where you love to be. God bless and stay healthy. John here, from the back-roads of Northeastern Tennessee.
So sorry to hear you were sick, Cory. Glad you’re on the mend and you and Gracie are back to enjoying the North Woods again. Take it easy and thanks for the wonderful video. God bless you and Gracie.
My husband has diverticulitis and ulcerative colitis They can be very painful and things can change quite suddenly We have had couple situations where he was fine one minute and turn bad quickly And we end up at hospital. The last trip he lost 15 pounds. Take care of yourself please. So glad you are better Love your videos and so excited for your new cabin and land. You are gonna do wonderful changes and I am excited to see it all

Glad to see you back out in the Woods, my grandson (6 yrs old, autistic) and I really enjoy your videos. We live in Southern Maine but Central and Northern Maine are where our hearts long to be. Really sorry to hear of your health crisis, I had the same problem during the same time frame, I spent about a week in the hospital…and yes, eating is scary after a bout of diverticulitis. I don’t know what’s going on but we know several people including a married couple who all have had this same intestinal infection during the same time frame, all healthy, active people, excellent diets, no bad habits, so it seems very strange to all of us that so many are having this problem when in the past it was rare to hear of it. Anyway, good to see you on the mend and to see you and Gracie back in the Woods, take it easy and we look forward to watching your next episode…our grandson loves to sit and snuggle up with me when watching your videos, he really enjoys them.😊
Years of poor eating habits, chronic dehydration, stress, overeating, eating too fast, forced hydration with meals, eating foods that cause inflammation, there’s a lot of contributing factors that can cause these problems, I’m aware of it now and correcting these things as best i can. Our food is poisoned in so many ways and it’s difficult to know what is “healthy” anymore. I’m glad your grandson enjoys our videos, thank you soo much
@@TheMaineWoods Poor diets definitely lead to health issues. I’m an organic, permaculture farmer, I raise nearly everything we eat. I preserve our harvests and I raise most of the meat in our freezers. I don’t raise beef so we buy it from friends who raise organic, grass-fed beef. Our grandson has benefited greatly from this clean, organic diet, we are told that it’s extremely rare for an autistic child to eat such a wide variety of foods. Diet is critical to healing and being healthy. When we’re young we think we are invincible, we give little regard to eating healthy, until we get hit with a health crisis. I am just as guilty of doing this when I was young…thankfully I had wonderful women (grandmother and aunts) in my life who taught me the importance of eating healthy, growing and raising my foods so as to be less dependent upon commercial factory farming. Food can heal or kill us, the American diet is horrible, fast foods, processed foods, so much junk. Glad to see that you realize this now, you are on the road to recovery and to changing your life for the better. Many blessings to you.😊
