I really appreciate the respect you show to all of the old cabins. Always making repairs and ensuring they can live to serve others for years to come. Hats off buddy. 👍👍🇺🇸
gives me hope for mankind to see someone as young as you seem to still show the respect that in my day was so simple to see and to expect from everyone. That's not the case in these days and so therefore it's nice to seee that some still honor the old ways. I am an old-time Mainer from many generations here in Maine and hope that we can still teach the ways of us old folks
Yeah, those pups always add that extra warm element to vlogs....and to our lives. Butsky's that they are. Can't let mine loose on the trails or he's rolling in the first carcass he comes across...
Something pure about a simple man going quietly and humbly about his work, keeping life in order and keeping necessities in good repair. Bless you sir, as you are one of God’s good creatures!!
Wish we would have had UA-cam 40 years ago, to open up world's, and to be part of the community we belong too. Without a shadow of a doubt my life would have been lived more in this manner and oh how fast life passes. Nice job fixing the chimney, top notch. I could just smell the fish cooking from here. ......and yeah, Gracie know how to claim the most comfy spot, she's no dummy. Till next update Cory.
I remember on one trip up(about 25 years ago) we drove into the camp. The road back then was all corduroy for much of the way in. It was a challenge for the FWD. What we found was astounding, the camp was moved off it posts and pushed back about 30 feet from the ice jam that had formed .When we arrive at the camp there was still a 3 foot chuck of ice the camp was sitting on. You could see the high water mark inside the camp. It's so awesome that these camps are getting the TLC they need to keep on. I noticed in your video what looks like the cable still crossing the St John where the cable hand car went across. Would of been super cool to traverse the river in that back in the day. I noticed the Uncle Henrys you pulled out of the time capsule, great publication for finding what you need. Catching a trout and sharing it with Gracie is a bonus!! Thanks for doing what you do!!!
great video and drone footage..LOVE the camp videos!! All it takes is a loose piece of tin or stove pipe knocked by snow slide and the camp falls in because of the elements. Great job on stove pipe . And Gracie is such a good pup. And love the Bible verse !! I think will watch this again. #KCC #MCM #Mainecabinmasters #kennebeccabincompany
Your video skills are superb IMO. I also thought the drone pictures were great as well. I could smell the sounds of the fish frying. I appreciated a great deal the video attention dedicated to Gracie. Dogs are one of God’s finest creations. Your ending Scripture really lit the candle for a fantastic finish. I’ve never been to Maine and enjoy these cabin videos. Thank you!👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Cory, I really enjoy your videos of your ramblings. As a young man, Nine Mile Bridge was one of my favorite books and it just so happens that two years ago my son and I spent a few nights there. At the time the sources laid on the roof of the cabin and we contemplated whether or not we should remove them!? Nice work on the chimney and am hoping to be poking around that area in a month or so. Keep up the great ethics and woodsmanship. Hope our paths cross some day. Fondly, Bill P.
I will happily pee in the woods hell I'll poop there too hahaha no facility needed. Plenty of water nearby to boil and use for anything needed and don't need electricity 👌
@@shaneclark207 So funny you mentioned that, I curiously looked up Nine Mile Road and her book came up, 5 star reviews so emailed the title to myself As a reminder to see if our Library has it! Funny where UA-cam leads us.
