      +Shon Homezzz which is what i've always loved about him. He's able to create and generate instant offense even when a play isn't called or the defense adjusts to what he planned on doing in the first place. A very underrated aspect of his game imo.

    • @ariansustento3086

      +Shon Homezzz Yup. that separates him from other skilled players, his instincts. He knows how to play the ball. Doesn't panic in crucial times and can adapt to any circumstances. He plays ball with LeBron, he backs LBJ up. He plays by himself, he goes on full force. His IQ as a player makes him a legend.

    Being a Heat fan and watching Dwade since his rookie year every night, I can't believe you DID NOT add his left side bank shot & the fake jumper to get the defenders up in the air (probably the most unstoppable fake shot in the nba). Thats why I've always said that I'd rather have the ball in DWade's hand over Lebron any night! But all & all I enjoyes the vid thanks

      do people realize most nba greats are taller than wade...thats why they make shots...wades game at 6'3 is basically im gonna give you everything i have and somehow get 25 5 and 5 a night without shooting a 3...his fundamentals and work ethic are underrated...dudes so little but hes got so much heart....i know its not even an argument... wades the best 6'3 and under player ever...his mid range and post game are as lethal as mj...people dont watch him enough...they should hes a legend...who doesnt shoot 3's ..yet can avg 30 and kill cats one on one easy....his only problem is with double teams

    In case you didn't know yet. Dwyane Wade is currently the best performer this playoffs.
    He's been doing amazing things this playoffs, I guarantee no one expected this because he's aging, his body is deteriorating, and we didn't see this from the regular season. But then suddenly *boom* he's going all out. Miami Heat has a legitimate chance at winning it all.

    • @LL-fs2di
      @LL-fs2di 8 років тому

      +Mark Edward Fischbach he needs help though, if JJ and dragic play like anything they're capable of then yes they can win, but they need a big man too, a problem the heat always have is lacking a great center after shaq.

    • @ledgermayne1999
      @ledgermayne1999 8 років тому

      Jovelio Caccam Heat already have that in Whiteside, unfortunately he is injured. Same goes with Bosh. The big man that Heat only have left is Amare Stoudemire and Josh Mcroberts. Hopefully they'll step up their game. I want, or perhpas Everybody wants Miami Heat vs Cleveland Cavaliers at the ECF. And we know how we all like the Cavaliers to get eliminated. Everyone is tired of LeBron going to the finals.

      first of all the spurs are out, so no kawhi guarding dwade if ever, i hope okc comes out of the west and if by some miracle lebron doesnt play well againts the heat and lose heat vs okc again, and if dwade goes all out they can win.

    Thing i notice most about Dwyane's style is how everything melts together. Some guys dribble the ball standing up too much and it throws off their gather for a shot. Some dudes have their head down driving with the same effect which messes up that gather and locks them into having to drive. The way he stays low and controls the ball he is always ready to move into a shot or a threat to drive.

(I have seen plenty of his dunk mixes. but never seen goto move (signature move) analysis or offense highlights) I wish you could make one for Vince(especially offense moves in Toronto times. Vince's mix is always focused on finishers(dunks or long range 3s). but I would like to see the procedure (triple threat, penetration, cross over, post up, foot up, coast to coast, splitting double team defenses etc). Hope you could make one someday !!! Thank you always

    I counted three steps with most of Wade's step over moves. I like the breakdown of the other moves though. Cutting has become an effective go-to move? What I saw was lack of attention on defense. Do NBA players play off the ball defense? Westbrook, Harden, Rondo? Good golly Miss Molly!

    • @danieldaw1778

      You're kinda technically allowed three steps in the NBA. You get one load step off the dribble and two for the following shot, which more or less translates into three steps.

    euro step means stepping in then out and going up on the "wrong" foot. if you're on the right, it means stepping in with he left then back out and going up off your right foot. not every 2 step is a euro step...

    • @ariansustento3086
      @ariansustento3086 8 років тому

      +papapapenis It doesn't have to be necessarily on the wrong foot. The very definition of euro step is if you see the two steps as a "zigzag" drive trying to evade the front defender. Doesn't matter which foot you layup-ed with.

    • @SerialGrunt
      @SerialGrunt 8 років тому

      Arian Sustento well i guess the definition has adapted over time. makes sense. euro step used to mean specifically inside foot in, shoot off outside foot out. guess since everyone started referring to any kind of in-out 2 step as euro step it's just practical to make the term applicable on a broader front

    There’s some moves in Dwayne Wade’s repertoire that Donovan Mitchell could’ve develop…🤔. Because as it stands right now, Donovan has got a nice floater, right handed mini hook, and an excellent jump shot but if he could develop a baseline game or a jab step move that doesn’t usually have him creating 2-3 feet worth of space for a three pointer and instead take a 8-10 jump shot it could be beneficial to his game.

      +tbuckets Maybe the biggest influences on my game have been Duncan and Shaq with the post game. My dribbling is not great at all, but I like Jamal Crawford when he dribbles he is the guy. The biggest inspiration for mid-range jump shots has definitely been Durant with the foot inside when he jumps and the shooting form.

      he's great moving without the ball and floor spacing but make no mistake about it, he's still JUST a jump shooter; even JJ Redick can come off a screen, pump fake and get a layup but Klay's game is jumpshooting...

      Klay is a SCORER someone like Kyle Korver or J. J. Reddick is a jumpshooter its a huge difference between the 2 types..... If u take away Korver shooting he won't score u can't say that with Klay & its HARD to take away Klay shooting cause he has many ways to get his shots

    @ 2.26 coach Turner shows the step over move which the exact move you said coaches should stop teaching & showing on your game 2 analysis of the heat vs raptors, when DeRozan hit Dragic face with his elbow. Maybe you should have reviewed the vid from coach Turner before publishing... Not that I am bothered, personally I don't think this move is a pb.

    Maaan... don't be telling everyone they can cut on the drive. It works when you have a player drawing a double team (because if your man follows you, a wide open kick out 3 opens up) but if you are cutting while some dude is trying to iso, you are just BRINGING a double-team.
    The whole reason D-Wade is cutting on these plays is because the play was that Lebron was cutting into the switch creating a double team and the whole reason D-Wade ends up alone under the bucket is because the lane was so over-crowded that his man couldn't stop the pass.

    This series would be better with on court demonstrations. Also I thought you were trying to ban that step over move. That's the one derozan elbowed dragic on...

      +lolz very true..I just don't think coach should be saying let's ban this move in one video, then promoting it as a go to in the next vid, let's stay consistent.

      I'm not gonna sit here and blame the refs cause they were horrible for both teams.. The Heat played the more desperate and aggressive team. I tip my hat to The Dragon and Dwade. See ya on Sunday #wethenorth

    but when I cut during my teammates drive, don't I also bring an extra defender into the paint and mess up spacing etc? why is d-wade so good at it whereas in last years series between GSW and MEM as the breakdowns show, tony allen made it such that his defender could guard 2 men at once?

    • @BardBasketball
      @BardBasketball 8 років тому

      you want to cut when you see the back of their head. wait to see that defense has already committed to helping and sneak behind them

    • @scamlikely3531
      @scamlikely3531 8 років тому

      also make sure to time your cuts and try to stay within the sight of the ball handler or else he won't see you..

    • @DoomTitan1
      @DoomTitan1 8 років тому

      +jamesiu1234567 It's coz Wade does it mostly when his defender is ball-watching, so once Wade cuts behind his defender, he's left in no-man's land :) If he's close up on you, you can fake and jab 1 direction and sprint to the other to create space to receive the pass
