Mary Greeley News reported earlier this morning this: ALERT: Asteroid to Hit The Philippines Today and a 1500 ft Asteroid To Pass Earth On The 15th. ....I would feel much better if I heard this information from YOU! If this is so, then it's important that WE know because you will research it. And of course, you would want to know too!
@peaches3472 yes it was true. It impacted in Phillipines earlier today but it was very small. Only 1.1m. I was going to show it in the live but i forgot. It was not dangerous and it exploded in the atmosphere. It's over
@DobsonianPower Thank you for confirming this and I'm glad it was small! It's the one on the 15th that may be a 'problem'! Earth has been fortunate not to been 'smacked' by a bigger one in all these recent years. I know the ice age was caused by one, as everyone knows. Thank you for responding!😍

Second time gone outside with focal extender ES 2" 3x and I had no chance to see one single planet.I mention that at the site on Bortle scale was 3.With focal extender cannot distinguish between star or planet due of colored distorted shapes.The Sharpcap planetary live stacking not helped in slightest amount.I changed betwin sharpcap live view sharpcap live stacking planetary live vue and planetary live stacking.I used hundreds or maybe thousends of exposure time-gain pairs with the result of a coloured deformed bright bubble. I saw for some seconds some unclear strips across Jupiter, but clarity and sharpness was v.v. poor.Canot obtain contrast even loweringvtime or gain
