I test my stormbox micro one in the store. Blows jbl clip and go, sony srs xb10 and 12, bose soundlink micro. Deeper bass than jbl flip3 but not as loud. Flip 5 is almost the same sound but louder.
Tribit stormbox 2 all day long the clarity isn't as good as the JBL but the overall soundstage and bass is just better. But for speakers this size don't ever expect anything much
I love the sound of the micro 2. Best sounding speaker in its class. Better bass and clear highs and i got it fo only $55. If the micro 2 did not exist, I would get the jbl clip 4. Good comparison 👍 I bought 2 micro 2 speakers.

The rubber of the clip 4 is a very bad concept because it peels in a short time. It's not better on the Charge 5. They will have to come back to the old concept for the Charge 6 because the speaker doesn't even hold in place anymore.
I like the Clip 4 style and sound best yet but the TRIBIT Is way better my new favorite company quality products at a great price. Waiting on the other colors to release on the Stormbox Micro 2. That follows me song is awesome watch your videos all the time.
Tribit for the win..the tribit is louder and has that bass.. but you do lose most of the base at 100% tho..the jbl has that highs but lacking some mids.. overall i believe when comes to sound and battery life too tribit is my choice..
tribit has more balance tuning... deep rounded bass, clear mids and highs.. not fatiguing to listen and has more power.. jbl has more extension in highs. 😊

I just purchase clip 4 and no doubt its better than tribit micro, but i also have tribut xsound go when i compare that two the tribit xsound go win for me, maybe because it has 2 speaker and 1 bass, while the jbl clip 4 has only one speaker and bass. I love both of them i just use it according to my needs.
Bass alone would tell the difference .. the Micro 1 is already impressive and now the Micro 2 raised it even further.

If I listen to my phone, I come to the same conclusion, with my headphones, the tribit just overwhelms the JBL in terms of sound quality.
