I’m Asian and learned to make this for my Bosnian in laws and they love every time I make this!! I usually make it for Bajram!! It’s always a hit!! It’s also my fav European dessert!!
Love from Bosnia! 💖
Same, except I'm bosnian and have tried asian recipes 😅
Super, hvala 👍🏻👏👏👏😘
My parents immigrated from Hungary to Sweden and I´m always so happy when you have recipes from Eastern and Central Europe. Feels like home. Thank you!
Omggg, so nice to see something familiar in my country on your channel! Sending love from Croatia 😍😍😍
This is a staple dessert from around the Balkans, beloved by many. 😀 Definitely a part of food culture all Balkan nations share and love. I am so happy and proud that you decided to make it. 😉
This cake comes from France - it was invented there. Then it became popular in other European countries. In Poland, as in the Balkans, it's also popular, it is called "napoleonka" or "kremówka.
@@aula2740 je me disais aussi que ça ressemblait fort à un millefeuille très facile
In Croatia we call it Kremšnita,it's yummy😋💞
yes.. I was lucky to try one in your country.. really delicious
@@Homecookingadventurerecipes i baked some of yours cake, allways great recipe, your apple pie is super delicious, thank you❤
@@Homecookingadventurerecipes Oh my God I can't believe you were in my country! If you ever come again, you should hold a cooking seminar, I'd be so happy to attend :)
@@marlenagrbic3885 također 😁
In Romania we call it cremes, & depending on the recipe, it's the best thing ever.😍
Cremşnit îi spunem ...

Cremes in ardeal
I have eaten it numerous times, but can't wait to make it like you do. It's always delicious. I'm from Croatia too💕💕
I love how you add the vanilla off the heat to preserve the flavor.
Omg i am from Slovenia and here is very popular especially in Bled.. it is called kremšnita.. Only thing you did not add and it is tradicionaly added is whipped cream on top of the custard.
Yes, i was also confused why it is missing whipped cream :)
Bled ❤️
From what I've read, the original recipe is Hungarian and it's not supposed to have any whipped cream. The whipped cream is just a modern twist add on to the recipe. :)
Oh no my freind not good not good did you know that church teach that we can use our Lord name in thanks giving and adoration that s why we christian are taugh that its not good to use O with g word because it offends our Lord since he is holy i hope you will understand think of name when person its born its followed by its name for whole life that s why name has reputation and is respected hope this make sense
@@LilButterfly5 Germanic influences uses cream...further South, not so much
Loved the way you transformed the good old custard
Superb recipe, excellent presentation. Thanks.
My pleasure 😊
Thank you for posting this. It’s your first Balkan recipe, if I’m not mistaken.
Balkan recipe? O.o Maybe I wrong, but this cake comes from France* or Neapol - it was invented there (as historians say) . Then it became popular in other European countries.
* I'm not from France :)
Aula You could be right, of course. I’m not a food historian. But recipes travel.
I’m Romanian and my grandad used to make me these before he passed I haven’t had one since I’m making some tomorrow I’m so excited it’s gonna be a blast from the past

in macedonia we call it krempita but we usually make it with a vanilla sponge cake as a base (made from the yokes and we use eather pudding or additional eggs for the filling)

Thanks for the recipe 😍
I've been waiting for the video since seeing it on your IG 😍
I just made it! Absolutely delicious!!! 👍👍🙏🙏
In Hungary it is a very popular cake, called krémes, meaning "with cream". I always thought it must come from French baking tradition...
The iconic symbol of Bled (Slovenia) is kremšnita (kremna rezina), a delicious and world-renowned cream cake. It's made a bit differently with a layer of whipped cream. Yours looks great nevertheless.
True. Whipped cream is missing.
You are absolutely correct, I will have to make this for my family to try (as a diabetic I will have to make inspiration and make it sugar free). I have a question, is this a Croatian recipe? when we were vacationing in Croatia my children enjoyed something that looked just like this amazing recipe you just made. Thank you for the video.
