Unfortunately with UA-cam it gets very hard to get deals at auctions I remember you got vehicals for around $1500 now prices are crazy and hard to make money these days
Those Jeeps, people are paying up for clean ones recently. I used to buy a ton of those. Haven't had one in 10-15 years though. And the AFM on the Tahoe, just have the software turned off and run it. Leave the hardware in place. $50 if you ship the pcm out to shut it off. I have 50k on my 07 like that, no issues.
Right on point for the Cherokee. The market has been up for those for a few years, and it is only increasing. That is a 5-6K car here in the high plains. There is a huge enthusiast market for these, and you are going to see clean examples like these bring even more in the future.
@@grandtheftautotune7715 Out of control with everything as you said.Just sold my house for $52000 over asking price with over 10 people bidding it up.Crazy!
Love your videos! You may have done this video already, but I think it would be great if you did a single video on what your best score on a state auction vehicle was, AND what your worst burn was on buying a state auction vehicle. Hope the new garage is coming along well too. Thanks. :)
If I had the cash, since I definitely have the time, I would love to come up there and go to an auction with you for the experience, the knowledge and to possibly actually buy a decent vehicle or two. That lot of palletized lightbars was inviting and it only sold for $175. Your videos are interesting and informative.
Great video as always...very informative..great power points..great timing...can you give some commentary on the heavy trucks in the background...thank you...keep up the good job
The Ford Fusion is usually used by Job And Family Services, Unemployment Agencies, Process Servers, courthouse officials and lower members of the government. I see them all over the downtown area of my city
Great way to start the day! You’ve inspired me to start searching around for more vehicles on Govdeals and sites like that. Great video, you’re doing great!!!
Man I love that Jeep. I had on years ago and the straight 6 is a great engine. At that price I would have been a buyer. I see you're approaching 2,000 likes, good luck with the Focus.
I agree with you the Cherokees a hell of a deal too bad it wasn't like six or seven hundred bucks then you can just drive it off at 5 and turn around and flip it
The Ford C-Maxs are nice cars. Made from 2013-2018. The one with 67000 miles according to Edmunds runs about $5250 trade in, 7400 private, 9000 retail in the Midwest. This is for the base SE model. I bought a '14 C-Max SEL with every option except self parking in 2017. It had 44,500 miles. It now has 104000. It's been a great car. The only expense other than oil changes, tires, alignment and other scheduled fluid changes has been replacing the small 12 volt battery which powers the solenoids and switches to start the car (engage the hybrid system) The EPA mileage rating is about 40 mpg not 50. I get about 33 in daily use because I'll be in the car parked for 1-2 hours. On road trips 37-38. And in city driving (no long "idling) 37-39. Nice ride, great handling, comfortable, surprisingly quick acceleration, excellent road trip car. I think it's the best car I've owned. It just beats the 2000 Ford Focus ZTS 5-speed manual I bought new. The ZTS was my "middle aged crazies" car; the C-Max is my "old retired guy" car that can seat 5 comfortably but can hold a bunch of cargo with rear seats down. Works for me! 👍😉😁
In 2013 I looked at leasing a focus. It was advertised at $99/mo. Kind of wish I would have vs driving and constantly repairing my garbage cars. The ones for $99/mo advertised price were sticks so I can’t imagine they had many issues. The price on the auction one here was eerily close to the advertised price from back then. Market sure is weird right now.
The Caprice is a rebadged Holden Commodore that also was the basis for the Pontiac G8 and the more recent Chevy SS. I’d snap one of those up in a heartbeat… wouldn’t take much to turn it into a quality sports sedan if it has the 6.0 V-8.
Ford Fusion competition is the Chevy Impala and Kia Rio? :-) The Chevy is a large car and the Rio is a subcompact econobox lol. Fusion's competition is the midsize category. Ever hear of the Camry and Accord? :-) You're adorable.
how much have crown vics been selling at auction, I've been wanting to get one again 2nd hand out of auction but they are being sold really expensive, around $5K where I live
Looks like you’re at the new lot. So much nicer, cleaner and the vehicles look good there. Please don’t buy a Focus though. Lol 2,000 likes...you should buy anything else other than a Focus. Great video! What’s the update in the new shop?
My town just had their yearly auction.. A bunch of the 4 wheel Suv's and a couple of Dodge Chargers.. I however missed the auction as I had to work.. But if that's what they went for, I'm out.. Freakin ridiculous..
Don’t think you’ll see this but in the chance you do, the strap is added to support closing the door because of the extra weight added with the ballistic shields added in the door. Following the previous video where you asked about the cross bars that’s added for crash protection and a bit of downforce. Also I will be damned to see you buy one of those Focuses😡😂.
I wish you had gotten that Cherokee, would have made great videos. 11:40 That coroner's truck is creepy, but I would imagine it is a well maintained and not overly abused vehicle. I'd drive it.
The red dot 🔴 on the tire is to correspond with the manufacturing mark on the rim. Otherwise The yellow dot is to line up with the valve stem, hence why it’s hollow. I’ve spoken to a bunch of professional tire installers and not one of them takes the time to line them up. They just slap the tire on and balance it. They don’t pay for the tire weights nor have they said that it makes a difference on the balancer.
I'm guessing but some of those Park Ranger trucks may be parked for the winter months? 4:00 the red Jeep seemed to go at a decent price and those versions seem to have a bit of a cult following when retailing it. 6:00 those boxes went pretty cheap looked to be in decent condition as well.
@@flyer2359x Economy has changed. Everything has gone up in price in the past year. Can you even still buy a running, driving, fairly reliable car for $1000?
I had a Cherokee just like that! Unbelievably small compared to modern day SUVs. That one is so clean, wonder what its story is? Older person who lost the keys??
Just curious why not ask or try to find out engine hours? The chevys should show engine hours on the odometer screen. Frame condition than engine hours than milage
Why not show the cleanup, detail or repair summary and final resale price of the cars you buy? That would go a long way in helping those of us who might want to do it say, down here in Texas?
I gave you a thumbs up (as always) but wouldn't wish a Ford Focus on my worst of enemies. Sad it was a car that a lot of single Moms were attracted to but unlimited repair bills came attached to the ownership.
That Cherokee selling so cheap is killing me. I would have loved to have that.
Yeah somebody stole it.
That's was a great deal for a strong vehicle, still looks in top condition after so much years
21 years old. 0331 head too being a 2000 model year.
