I miss this era of nascar. I live in Windsor,Ontario,Canada which is across the river from Detroit & Michigan is my nearest nascar cup track & I use to go to both Michigan races as they have two cup dates. Super fast track with a lot of great fans, a lot of us Canadians go to Michigan, Brooklyn Michigan is beautiful & the Irish Hills. Now you go to Michigan & it’s not even half full just like a lot of nascar tracks now like Bristol which isn’t even a quarter full. I’m on a nascar Pintys series race team which is our Canadian version of nascar & we run all across Canada & last year we went state side for one race for the first time for a points race on our schedule to New Hampshire Speedway the same track where the nascar cup guys race at & the series put on a great show, our races are on UA-cam & just type in NASCAR Pintys Series, we run on both ovals & road courses, street course as well, Canadian tire motor sports park aka Mosport road course we run with the nascar trucks on the same weekend so that’s a great weekend for us & the old Cayuga Speedway which is called Jukasa Speedway has been totally renovated & re-paved track grounded right up added more banking & is probably the best track in Canada now & is a 5/8th mile oval & is super fast! Anyways my American friends I love America & come over to Canada for a Canadian nascar Pintys series race, you can check out the schedule on nascar.com/home tracks & look for the Pintys series, we race all over Canada & one race in the states at New Hampshire Speedway :-) cheer for #17 D.J. Seems like Robby was spending a whole lot more time “kicking it with the team” rather then winning with the team
