- NASCAR Drivers 360 gave a behind-the-scenes look at NASCAR drivers leading up to a race. The show aired for two seasons on FX between 2004-05. This episode is episode 7 of season 1, following Dale Earnhardt Jr, Jamie McMurray, and Jeremy Mayfield at the 2004 Advance Auto Parts 500 at Martinsville.

NASCAR today needs something like this. It can help bring in new fans into the sport. This was during when NASCAR was at it's peak
I don’t really think it would work honestly, people already have access to this with social media. This is one of those things that it was a different time
The only thing you’re forgetting is 1.)nascar drivers today have the personality of mayonnaise that’s been left out in the sun and 2.)nascar doesn’t attract new fans, they don’t exist

Glad to see one of the 360 episodes back up. I know like 3-4 years ago, all episodes were around until the main uploader's channel must've been taken down.

@@briankenney9827 This show literally feels like it's just people being themselves; no fake arguments, screaming, tantrums, or manipulation necessary.
NASCAR needs to bring this show back. I loved it! So much better than the manufactured drama of DTS.
I wish Drive to Survive and reality TV as a whole were more like this.
It actually humanizes the stars, treats them like real people, has a more serious and inviting feel to it, and doesn't have any fake drama with childish tantrums, made up conflicts, crass and vulgar behavior, or despicable backstabbing.
This show leaves me with a good feeling after watching it. It doesn't try to be something it's not.
Miss this show - It was quite the gem at the time
I used to LOVE this show this was the most perfect NASCAR show in it's most popular period. The day I found this on UA-cam I couldn't stop watching

I had the first year of the Yamaha 250F in 2001 and they were very hard to start until you get used to it.It's a 4 stroke and it has a compression lever you pulled till it had resistance and slowly push the kick starter till that has resistance then let it back up and kick to start.I thought Jamie's was a 4 stroke but it's a 2 stroke so I have no idea why he couldn't start it.HAHA

Last week's Martinsville race was the worst one at that track I've seen since I started watching Nascar in 1995. I used to watch this show and it seems like it holds up. Most shows like this get so much fake stuff added and heavily edited to the point of pure fiction.
This is what DTS should be, I get DTS brings in new fans but as a fan since 1994 i can not stand the overly simple explaning of basic stuff. NASCAR did it right

@@JJA1987 yes he took an allergy medication and adderall and got suspeneded. only in 2011 was it proven that he had drugs after the matter.
