These were my favorite type of nascars,down Force cars. Kasey Kahne was best in these type of cars, then when nascar switched to the cot etc & he went to Hendricks Kahne’s career went down hill.
Its sad seeing Robby Gordon's dad. A few years after this his dad strangled his wife (Robby's Step mom) then shot himself. Was really sad. I always had at soft-spot for Robby.he should've stayed with RCR though. He really tanked with starting his own team, lost a LOT of money. I don't think NASCAR was for him. He does a lot of dirt racing and desert racing now, I hope he is happy with what he is doing now.
@@iSoccer_FC I'm glad. Me and my friend created a website for him when he was RCR. It was a really awesome site, we had a lot of followers, and we got a chance to meet Robby. Super-great guy. I'm glad he is doing what he loves. I felt so BAD when all that happened with his family. I'm not a Big Bible Banger, but I said a lot for him and his family to get through it all. Must have been just horrible!
I loved watching him on these shows.. when I heard the news when it happened it blew my mind. His dad didn't seem anything like that.. just comes to show you never know how life's gonna go. Def agree about him leaving RCR.. granted they didn't offer him the top equipment but they were still better than what he fielded. He was so damn stubborn.. main reason why I respected him so much. I did pull for them back then; I have one of his old Jim Beam hats actually. I wish he coulda won once in that Jim Beam car. So glad he's doing well now but I do miss him around Nascar would love to see him return somehow.

He's absolutely at peace running Stadium Super Trucks and it's been a massive success for him

Matt (13yo son) and Robby finished 1-2 at Long Beach 2022 in the supertrucks. Cool to see.
