@@jkljosh7392 I don't think it's ever actually stated what Antinous's age is. Only that he was alive when Odysseus departed for war (making him at least 20) and that he was not considered elderly (so likely under 40 based on what was considered elderly at the time). Likely many of the suitors were 10-12 when Odysseus left (and thus too young to go to war) and would now be in their 30s, though i don't think that's ever really addressed in original texts.

Jorge’s prefered animatic for the Little Wolf song is actually more like a Video game. (You can see the animatics he chose if you look at his watch party video (cut in 2 parts) Also, one of Jorge’s big inspirations for this Musical is video games.
Year 300? The odyssey is set in myceanean greece, around 1600 BC! To give some perspective, from 1600 BC to 300 AD is the same length of time as the year 100 AD to now! also, great reaction :)
~1100 BC is when the story of Troy and The Odyssey took place. Still Very far back!, but the stories originate fro the end of Mycenean greece not the beginning or middle
@@flyingeagle3898 Good point! It is debated amongst scholars whether the Trojan war happened to Troy VI or Troy VIIa, but it seems to be either around 1300 BC to 1180BC! I forgot about that!

I suggest you to watch the animations from Jorge live (when he played all the sagas), because they are more smooth and good plus u wont be confused again. This is my opinion idk if u will watch it or not.
I don't think you have to feel too bad about not knowing Antinous's name. Unless I'm mistaken, his name hasn't been said in any of the songs, thus far, only being mentioned in casting credits and Jay's videos and things like that. Even for people who are familiar with the Odyssey, not all of them are going to be familiar with the name, since the suitors tend to be lumped together.
Gawdamn really love your energy coming into this one! It's really one of your best vids so far in terms of entertaintment. Girl who got you smiling like that
So basically, the king, Odysseus, has been gone for like 20 years and everybody thinks he won’t make it back. The kingdom needs a new king, so the queen, Penelope, is hosting Suitors for her hand. The Suitors are the ones bullying Telemachus. Penelope is buying time by being crafty (I won’t spoil how, if u want to know just look it up, it’s pretty common knowledge) and keeps putting the challenge for her hand in marriage, and thus the throne, off. Penelope is hoping that Odysseus will make it back, or Telemachus will get old enough and strong enough to take the throne himself. That’s pretty much what’s happening here. I hope this helps.
To be absolutely clear, we are back in Ithaca, 7 years since the thunder saga. The castle is absolutely full of men vying to woo and marry Penelope as Ithaca has now been kingless for 20yrs and women couldn't rule so marrying her is the only way to become king. The aggressive guy who beat up Telemachus is named Antinous and is one of these suitors. Penelope has been making her excuses to avoid re-marrying (I know how she's been doing this but i dunno what ppl consider spoilers)
official animatics and video exists: Nick Flipp - imma fkn watch some random foes!!! xD (yeah, this random guys` animatics sometimes are wrong in telling storyline or visuals, i mean, in "Fight little wolf" telamichus supposed to be an adult(20yo), but they draw him like 10-13yo)
Thankfully you realized it wasnt Odysseus in Legendary. But no, the suitors are not asking where is Odysseus. Yhey are asking which one of the suitors is Penelope going to choose as a new husband.
Telemachus is 20. But Antinous is still an ass. BUT HEAR ME OUT... His Voice and the ilustration in the Livestream are... something... He a villain, but seriousley, hear me out! 😂😂😂

If Antinous is gonna be talkin' all that shit I need him to at least be attractive, and unfortunately the first animatic just wasn't doing it for me. 🤣 Telemachus is still hella adorable tho, and them vocals ~
I'm so glad you realised it wasn't Odysseus, I can't watch another video of a reactor being confused the whole saga 😅
It took most of Legendary for me to realize it wasn't a young Ody lmao
Telemachus is 20 years old, so he's more of a young man then a child.
And it's Ancient Greece so he's been considered a full adult for like 7 years now.
The guys beating him is like 40+ tho

It’s been 20 years since Odysseus was in Ithaca. Thunder Saga was at the 12 year mark, so there’s been a seven year time jump since then.
