Many bands try to make such music. None even come close to the level of Wardruna. In general, anything involving Einar is not just music, but experience for memory, mind and soul.
You know a band's music is pure gold when you dont understand a single word but understand every emotion conveyed. 11/10 would recommend!!!

I bought the 2 disc album off Amazon. I put it on and closed my eyes and lost myself in some ancient magical forest.
Rings of the sun send for summer , Crows craw for the elves in the field .
I actually prefer this now, music in other languages so then it lets you completely focus and concentrate on the voice and the emotions and how that blends with the instruments. I prefer the voice as an instrument and not speaking the tongue of the lyrics makes that more possible.
Some of your ancestors may have spoken this. And if not you probably understand and respect it depending on your ancestry. Forest is sacred and the crop they prey for is vital.
We need so much more Wardruna in order to keep our spirits alive in these dark and troubled times.

Wardruna is one of those bands that proves that the language of music is universal. You may not speak the native tongue but the music itself has a way to speak for itself and help you feel emotions that you may not have felt and unlock a primal part of your ancestry.

I think what makes Wardruna epic among others is that they interpret traditional and natural aspects in a perfect harmony in terms of both lyrics and instruments which is accompanied with great and powerful vocalists. I love you Einar Selvik!

One of the most beautiful and enchanting songs Wardruna does. Saw them perform at Red Rocks and between them performing and the moon appearing from the clouds it brought tears to my eyes. One of the most memorable experiences of my life so far. ✨️

For those not being aware, for this event, Katrine Stenbekk, the amazing voice of Kalandra joined Wardruna. Wardruna and Kalandra will tour together at the 'Nodic Night Open Air' tour this summer in parts of Europe (Dates on both band's homepages). Looking forward to experience the show in my country on July 1, at an old historic roman amphitheatre.

Everytime i try to sing their songs im just amazed by Einars insane breath control. Im already out of breath halfway and he just keeps going, many times even singing a long powerful note at the end

Just saw them live in France and litteraly cried during this whole song. Most of the audience, fans or not, had blurry eyes with tears as well. Also the playing with lights and shadows on stage is just incredible.

I've loved this song for a while now. The other day I was home alone and played this through my head phones, I started singing along and I was overcome with such intense emotion, neither positive nor negative but my singing became louder and guttural. I was crying. If someone watched they'd have probably thought I was insane. But afterwards I felt so cleansed from core. It was involuntary and was something I hadn't experienced before. I completely let go.
I can never get through a song without getting choked up lol. Just goes to show how powerful their songs are
Same thing for me I love Celtic music from Ireland and Scotland and never thought there would be another style of music that effected me so much emotionally..but this one does . Canadian but family is from northern England around York and the channel islands.

I saw Wardruna live at Dinkelsbühl in Germany and was in the first line and high on some drug and screamed EINAAR and we looked right into each others eyes for some moments ... very epic moment. I felt a lot of respect for this man for there was no arrogance in his look

I had tears in my eyes listening to this. I felt something so real that i can't put words to. One of the strangest things was my cats were staring right at me right in my eyes. It took a second for Einar to snap out if his immersive ancient mindset. He puts his entire soul into his work and its amazingly beautiful to watch/HEAR. Whenever im honored/lucky enough to see him/Wardruna Live...it's a solumn, religious experience that I can't explain but, it's palpable & unmatched....just ancient magiks coming full circle. Such a unique, beautiful experience that i hope to have many more of. Wardruna please tour NY, USA more often.

Might sound weird or farfetched but mushrooms introduced me to this music. The frequencies touched upon are so high and overwhelming in a good way. Have transformed... so much healing done in ceremonial respect.
